Why does JoJos bizarre adventure so popular? I dont get the appeal. Parts 1 and 2 were very good and i was pretty excited to see where the series would go. However after getting through part 3 and now halfway through diamond is unbreakable, i cant stand it. For one i dont like how these last two parts (Stardust Crusaders and Diamond is unbreakable) are brought down to just fighting a stand user for a few episodes, rinse, and repeat. Its far below what parts 1 and 2 were where they train and power up to fight an enemy towards the end. Part 2 with Joseph Joestar did this the best. Another thing i have a problem with is the Stands. Stands are cool powers but i was curious to see how they come about. For instance, relating back to parts 1 and 2, Hamon was introduced and it was a special power that you had to train a long time to master. It also had an explanation as to why it was a thing in the first place. You learned about the history of it and how it was used to fight an enemy that the protagonist was fighting against. However it seems with stands that there is no explanation. It was lazily introduced and just doesnt make any sense. Not to mention that it doesnt take any time to master or harness. Its simply just there and doesnt have any weight to it. It makes stands very bland to me. Its like Araki got bored with hamon and instead of creating something new he just kinda spit it out. I like the series but i wish it had more explanation for its characters and things in its universe.

nigger I'm not reading all that shit
JoJo is pretty overrated, only 2, 5 and 7 are good, haven't read part 8 yet though
It's not popular
Ive heard people say part 7 is good. Is it like part 2 where it has a solid story and escalation? Meaning its not like 3?
Part is my favorite. At first I was skeptical because it was nothing like 1 and 2 so it took me off guard. I pretty much look at 1 and 2 as it's own thing aside from the rest of the series.
>parts 1 and 2 were where they train and power up to fight an enemy towards the end
How is this any better? It's literally Dragon Ball.
>Hamon was introduced and it was a special power that you had to train a long time to master
Both Jonathon and Joseph learned it really quickly. Joseph got good enough at it to beat ancient eldritch beings in a month.
>However it seems with stands that there is no explanation
Keep reading. Who am I kidding, you're just watching the anime. The way stands are introduced really isn't very good but they allow much more to be done with the fights than hamon did. It doesn't take any less time to master than hamon really. With hamon you just have a 5 minute training montage (1 month real time) and you're a hamon master capable of killing vampires and pillarmen.
