Akira's pizza apology does seem to be a long tradition.

This chapter always hits hard. Things that were more than 10 years ago feel like just yesterday. But I think this one hist even harder in the anime. There's just something about hearing it, especially with the music.

We've also got at least one of the main character's catchphrases! And enough to bring Aika above pony boy.

we were talking about projectors on previous thread. The cheap-ass projectors work great for comfy purposes, but the colors end up a bit washed out.

A few years ago you could get very nice projectors for cheap if you got them used from someone upgrading to HD. I got mine from a business that had only put a little over a hundred hours on it.

Not much trivia I can give here, except the Carpaccio does seem to be Akira-sama's favourite place to grab a bite. Hope she was paid well as a single, or that prices in the city aren't as high as they are for us given Neo Venezia probably doesn't have to face the same kinda challenges actual Venice does today. And wasn't Akira-sama scolding Aika in her introductory chapter about resting/sleeping in unladylike positions? A classic case of "do as I say and not as I did", huh.

The scenery of the volume cover does look familiar to me, but I can't really place it. It does showcase the variety of street width in the city nicely though. Sometimes wide enough for a small stall to be placed outside a shop, before narrowing off further down the line. And I sure hope Maa-kun is a clean Martian kitty, otherwise that store owner might get into trouble...

Maybe she gets a discount for being a local. Or at least a volume discount.
