The previous PVs made me think they'd be full-size mechs, but now that I see they're scrunched up SD mechs, I'm not as excited for this, despite getting a 2D mecha anime (that isn't from Sunrise or Bones) in this day and age. The Re:Zero character designer doesn't make it much better, either. It's a real shame, because the mech animation actually looks pretty good. I'll still be giving it a watch, though.
Will this just be another Regalia and end in failure? Hopefully it won't have to stop 4 weeks in so staff can re-animate them because of a production nightmare like Regalia, too.

I'll be honest. The animation and color coordination are too good for such a small and unknown studio. The fact that they are previewing the first 10 minutes makes it pretty clear that the show will look like absolute dogshit. First episode is supposed to reel people in, rest will look like Beatless. Unless they actually did most of the animation work on Rakudai Kishi no Eiyuutan, which I doubt.

I always like it when a literally who studio has the balls to put out their first original in the hope that it'll be a success. Anyway I'm pretty excited for this. Going to watch the clip now.

Reminiscent of Flip Flappers in that regard.

Not at all. Before 3hz made FLip Flappers they had already shown to be a group of competent animators. Sora no Method looked very, very good.

I heard their anime from last year Comic Girls looked great so don't count them out. They seem to be a promising smol studio.

>The fact that they are previewing the first 10 minutes makes it pretty clear that the show will look like absolute dogshit.

So little faith

I guess no one watched Comic Girls last year. I hope they succeed.

Is this yuri?

Shoo dumb yuritard.

SRW material?

Comic Girls looked good/great

A shame no one seems to have watched it.

Link me a Comic Girls cut that even remotely implies for them to be competent or skilled enough to animate proper action scenes. I don't remember anything noteworthy, bar a handful of character sequences with waving hair. The show looked nowhere near "great".

Can you blame me?

Yes.

>cgdcg
>link me action scenes
you're a fucking retard and should kill yourself, thank you.

Looks pretty good, hope the actual anime delivers.

Not what I asked you to do.

You're actually retarded. So this is what sakugafags look like.

Kirara action is top tier.

Yes.

inb4 it doesn't count because no explosions.

SD mechs look strange, but I feel I can get used to them. Sound effects though were very nice, quite otherworldly.
As for possible quality, I'm not bothered by it. I've watched and enjoyed things like Marchen Madchen and Qualidea Code.

They remind me of B-Daman, I wonder if they're trying to tap into that toy market.

It'll flop because /u/fags and /m/en can't coexist in the current era

There still are genuine anime fans in Japan and they occasionally buy a show if they like it enough. It worked for Princess Principal.

But that's wrong.

The mechs are too cutesy for my liking but I'll give it a chance when it airs.

>B-Daman
I forgot how cute these were.

There are lillies, if that's what you're asking

>As for possible quality, I'm not bothered by it. I've watched and enjoyed things like Marchen Madchen and Qualidea Code.
Sounds like you aren't bothered by writing quality, either.

I like it, showing the 10 first minutes is a good thing, being an anime original they need to bait people into watching it and at least for me it's working. I'm pretty excited for Summer.
HSL was a goddamn good anime despise being a literally who studio, I'm having big hopes with this one.
Hopefully, and add suffering just because.

They are really moe.

Finally Animeism has something worthwhile

I wish that a few of these shows would have aired in this wasteland of a season instead of competing to be top dog in a season packed full of hype.

Re Zero staff and the Hanada Jukki in charge of series composition. This could actually be aoty

>a season packed full of hype
I'm not seeing it. There's a few interesting shonen adaptations and Vinland Saga, anything else?

Things that I'll watch next season, in order of anticipation:
Symphogear
This
DanMachi
Arifureta
Maoh Retry

Things that I'm watching this season:
Literally fucking nothing

>shonen adaptations
>Vinland Saga

No thanks.

>meme shit
>LN garbage
Yeah no thanks and absolute shit taste.

Says the muh Cowboybebops and shonen faggot.

You're the personification of leddit. Lurk more.

That's funny coming from the personification of a casual. Go back to facebook.

Lurk more newfriend.

5 mins in, all I can say is that I want it now.
Plamo when?

Plamo?

Masou Kishin with all those magic sigils.

Now kiss

PLAstic MOdels you newfag.

But I'm not a buyfag.

We had a "cute girls piloting 2D mecha" show a few years ago. That ended up being painfully average and forgotten, and I don't expect this being much different.
