It's only a matter of time that it gets an anime adaptation so that they can sell another million copies or something. The concern is whether it will get a decent adaptation or not. I seriously hope it doesn't turn out like Hinamatsuri or something where the pacing is just awful.

While I like the manga, I think it suffers from the same thing as Yotsubato. It's too episodic, even if there is an overall plot. It would only work as anime with the format of +tic Neesan.

It's honestly weird that anime is taking so long.

There are so many terrible adaptations these days I'm not even sure if I want anime.

Last adaptation that really did a good job was Re Zero. They turned a niche series barely anyone knew into a hit.

You think you want an anime, but you don't. They'd end up CGing most of the monsters and they'd probably change the style so much it looks entirely different like Jitsu Wa Watashi Wa. Then there's the influx of shitposters.

that's exactly what im worried about. Going into too much detail would be jarring since that was never the focus, but doing it too briefly will also confuse the viewer.
It wouldn't be an issue if there was some genius that could do a proper adaptation that wasn't just literally translating the manga 1:1 into frames, like how anime adaptations of shoujo manga are distinct from the manga (and often superior), but I won't have my hopes up.

I want an anime even if there's only a 1% chance of it being adapted properly. Mob Psycho was a great adaptation for one. I can't think of any recent fantasy anime that was great though.
I just wish it gets adapted as a passion project, like whatever the hell pushed KyoAni to adapt Nichijou for example.
