how do I fucking watch Zeta after the masterpiece that is MSG/79? who cares about flashy animations when everything is fucking weird and doesn't make any sense >kamille is fucking crazy and petty >girl keeps following him, shouting like a lunatic and THAT is the thing that kick-starts the events of the series >bright being beaten by the fucking federation and being made a little bitch when he's a fucking war hero >char is not an elegant warrior anymore, but a 80's punk also the movie trilogy is horrible, I want to kill whoever convinced me to watch it
despite all that, which release/subs should I watch, EG or ZetaRebel? I'm alternating both, but I'd like to know which one is more accurate
Also Zeta is almost as good as 79, it at least has less boring repetitive plot-less episodes and less Amuro whining. Its highs are less high and some of the girls are annoying but its really pretty close to 79 in terms of how good it is.
Kevin Bell
That's not Char though.
Sebastian Gutierrez
>less Amuro whining As if less Amuro is a good thing, user.
>also the movie trilogy is horrible, I want to kill whoever convinced me to watch it You wouldn't have thought this was a good idea if you weren't already brain dead. Don't tell me you watched the 0079 movies too.
Camden Russell
I'm talking exactly about the MSG/79 recap movies. I watched them after finishing the MSG/79 series because some said they have new scenes and are a bit different. and they indeed are, but they are bad movies honestly. and lala's characterization in them is just awful >too what do you mean exactly? >Its highs are less high so the gundam franchise did peak with its first entry? >less Amuro whining I don't really mind Amuro, his emotional moments make sense. he's a very believable good-hearted teenager
Jaxson Mitchell
Sorry but you have to be autistic to relate to most of the characters in zeta. Take it as an unintentional comedy and it work very well though. Also screw you Char looks rad as fuck in zeta, much better than his gay pirate costume in 0079.
Kamille is great though The only better Tomino protags are Cosmo and Show
Sebastian Nguyen
>bright being beaten by the fucking federation and being made a little bitch when he's a fucking war hero Are you retarded? How can you not tell the difference between the Federation and the Titans?
Yeah, that was my thought too. I hate Kamille and almost feel happy about his fate, alongside with Katz, fuck that brat. Everyone says he is better than Amuro, but I never felt Kamille that trustworthy as Amuro at the end of 079
Benjamin Powell
Amuro at the end of 79 is Gundam's best protagonist, but he's such a pain in the ass for hte other 45 episodes that it's almost not worth it.
And THEN, they just fucked him up in Zeta and made him a bumbling manchild again.
Christopher Jackson
ZZ is better in literally every way. Worldbuilding, production design, animation, characters, story...
Aiden Cox
>They just fucked him up in Zeta Really? Didn't felt that way. He had his issues about returning to action, but that's it And I don't think is 45 episodes, he makes a huge improvement in the arc after Ryu's sacrifice
Brayden Lewis
>>char is not an elegant warrior anymore, but a 80's punk The worst part is that he is no longer an ace pilot and got turned into a jobber who can't shoot straight because only crazy autistic girls are allowed to shine.
It feels like Kamille is one of the least OP Gundam protagonists but that might be because there are a lot of secondary antagonists keep sticking around.
Lincoln Wright
>beaten by the fucking federation Titans =/= Federation >char is not an elegant warrior anymore He was never. Quattro was a pragmatist.
Kamille does have a very low named pilot killcount compared to other UC MCs. A lot of goons in Zeta survive for a big chunk of the show.
Gabriel Roberts
>a toy commercial is bad Shocking stuff.
Brayden Green
You started with talking about Zeta so I thought you were saying the Zeta movies were bad. Zeta has a trilogy of movies too.
Thomas Walker
I fucking hated MS Team and don't understand the hype.
Luke Flores
Watch Turn A and SEED, then decide for yourself.
Justin Garcia
Strong disagree mate. Kamille character development is great and he's one of the most well written Gundam protagonist. Chars role as an Anti-Hero is pretty cool. Zeta Gundam gave us the best girls as well.
I love how the ZZ itself is basically just "I'm you, but stronger" version of the Zeta.
Feels like ZZ show itself was only made to sell leftover Zeta kits, as most the main suits in the show are re-used like the Hyaku Shiki and stuff like that.
Aaron Rogers
>be judau >old as fuck >come to space uso with newtype autist colonies >get fucked by a simple strongest newtype who isn't even spacenoid who is so badass with the sheer force of training from his papa and mama
Kamille is the best part of Zeta. He only really starts as a brat, but he grows well later on. I prefer him over Amuro as a protagonist But Zeta as a whole is a bit of a mess. Especially the closer it gets towards the end. Kamille's character was the only part that kept me engaged really. But that is easily forgotten when what came after is the awful ZZ, anything looks like a masterpiece after that.
Hudson Miller
>sheer force of training from his papa and mama Interesting. Judau revived zero combat training and still managed to do a bloody good job in an outdated MS early in the show. Uso had all the advantages, elite EFF team backing, cutting edge technology, combat training from his parents and the militia... Not impressed. I think Ashta did well, considering he was just a poor kid working the scrapyard to pay for his sisters schooling.
