The ending to Washizu Mahjong hit me like a truck. It's amazing to reread the early parts of the game and see how much Akagi and Washizu's relationship changes.
Sort of conflicted about the epilogue, though. It feels open to the point where I'm not sure if it's supposed to be setting up a sequel.

The best thing was that they had chemistry and it was really neck and neck up until the end. He made his decision and while it wasn't the girl the series was kind of named after, it's not like it came out of nowhere or go against what the manga was building up for. The one thing that makes me feel empty is that there's no continuation and that's the last we really see of them aside from the bonus chapters that focus on other characters.
