It's not a complex or multilayered plot by any means. Take that in comparison to something like Millennium World arc that has multiple plot lines going on at the same time involving all the different characters at different points and it ends up being way more complex than any story arc that came before it with all the craziness that goes in. In comparison VRAINS is basically follow Yusaku wherever he goes and everything is done in a linear fashion.

Now that ARC-V has 100% ended what are your final thoughts on Yuya? Personally i never really liked him that much. He was way too soft (Kind of like Takato from Digimon Tamers). Judging stuff this way is stupid. Having multiple elements doesn't matter when they are badly applied. Complex plots aren't always good and simple stories can make for a great trip most of the time. I like Vrains because it always finds a way to keep me wanting to discover what happens next as soon as possible. I also like the characters and monsters, just watching them in new situations or attacking/being defeated is very satisfying.
If you don't like it it's too bad, but that won't keep me from enjoying it every week.

Also Kaiba and Preist Seto are the same spirit, but two completely different people. A reincarnation isn't a clone. That's not how reincarnation works. Kaiba grew up under a completely different set of circumstances and Priest Seto never had a little brother. They're not exactly the same.
Kaiba in the series seems against religion and belief enough to sacrifice God to do his bidding. I also like the part where he said he would fire God in the DSOD dub.
