Hunter x Hunter

Why is Togashi such a hack?

Attached: O MY MANY ASSPULLS.png (850x920, 839K)

Add the 4th prince learning Nen and developing King Crimson Hatsu already
Heavens arena introducing Nen without prior foreshadowing in the previous arc which had top tier nen user like Netero
Killua recognizing Dragon Dive
Royal Guard inserting semen in Mereum mouthed after getting Netered and bringing him back again
I'm sure I'm forgetting some other stuff's

I don't know if this is true but 4th prince put his hand in that pot and then got his stand, but a month passes and theta never sees his stand until he gets on the ship, so does that mean she never saw him for a whole month? or is there an explanation for that.

So what is the significance of the eagle/bird that is seen flying around and later attacking Komugi?

Does it belong to Netero? Or is there some kind of symbolism I'm missing?

>Heavens arena introducing Nen without prior foreshadowing in the previous arc
t. retard

Attached: 251.jpg (1300x688, 170K)

No idea about the eagle's symbolism but that scene really hit me hard, after it was over i told myself that whatever this hard to describe feeling was must be what parents feel like when seeing their child or more specifically in this case, a daughter.
The way Meruem checks her wounds, the way Komugi cries like a 5 year old, pure kino.

Attached: 123.png (1560x829, 1.06M)

Why is Komugi in that image? I understand the premise of every other piece but her. How is her writing poor or indicative of hackneyed writing?

Attached: 1553643059652.png (455x455, 274K)

The only thing i'd consider an asspull in that image or at least incredibly cheap is Alluka

What is sadder? A new batch of HxH not being announced, or the Discord of heroshitters making several HxH threads despite having and getting btfo in each of them despite having a new chapter to discuss?

The eagle is first shown being spooked by Netero's meditation on the big mountain Killua sees him on. The eagle is seen circling around the palace but is never able to get in because of Pitou's aura. When Pitou shifts her aura to the lower floors the eagle is able to get closer and eventually enters Komugi's room and attacks her. Meruem then fucking obliterates it.

The symbolism is questionable if there is any at all. Netero unintentionally and indirectly harming Komugi and unlocking Meruem's humanity in the process could just be seen as fate but the fact it is Netero in combination with Komugi that lends to Meruems change of heart before they even meet plays into the two sided coin concept and the born for this moment plot point.

Over all i'll always see it as a reinforcement of things being out of peoples control. Even beings as strong as Netero and Meruem cannot predict everything. Netero never intended to see Komugi hurt, he didn't even know she existed. It hammers home the idea that most conflicts come from misunderstandings. If only Netero had the space to talk to the king, it would've been different. He says as much. The eagle was a blessing over all but I don't know if that means it is symbolic of anything but the nature of chaos.

Attached: 1551194682729.jpg (1066x1600, 298K)

Definitely the fact that 4 new manga just GOT announced in Jump, so that pretty much kills all hope that HxH returns next month.
As for this poor bait nobody gives a shit, really.

>plant bomb beforehand at fighting place
>go with king to fighting place
>don't jump off dragon like him (meruem jumps first)
>explode bomb when he lands on ground
zero deaths, everyone's happy

Netero wanted to fight, brainlet

>when you're a woman and you don't understand the netero fight
reminder you need a Y chromossome to get it

You forgot to add that eagle also was spooked by Meruem before he attacked Komugi

Attached: 0257-015.jpg (1066x1600, 204K)

Absolutely based

Thought I was forgetting something, oh well. Not sure how much it would change. Meruem's lack of care for Komugi being the reason she gets hurt which in turn makes him care for her feels more like a natural progression than symbolism.

>when you need a Y chromosome to be ok with being disposable
It all makes sense.

how did Killua not know about nen despite being part of a family of nen-using assassins?

It's not like they were talking about nen on daily basis.
Probably he was raised by Illumi and Silva, and if he had learned nen before he would have fled from the house because he is rebellious. So they thought it was better to keep the control of him

>Reading HxH
>Not reading the superior YuYu Hakusho

it always felt weird to me that Illumi's hypnosis shit was a nen power but Killua's shadow clones were just a regular ability that doesn't take nen to use. It would have made more sense if Killua already knew nen but couldn't tell Gon because of Illumi's needle

>superior YuYu Hakusho
literally milked shit

Attached: TogashiYYH.jpg (1500x1172, 572K)

Why everyone pretend that the fight of Youpi vs Morel never happened? Why are you guys so afraid of bringing it up? Add Morel leaving the trait of blood into this picture please, more people should acknowledge it.

Wish Togashi would do another 1 or 2 YYH arcs still. Was hoping those short OVAs would lead to something. There was a whole foundation for another arc set in place too but Togashi just turned that whole arc into a single gag chapter

Then what does that make your mangaka, herocuck? He's plagiarizing a hack

Attached: 1554832585836.jpg (1200x1200, 288K)

Nah. Let YYH go, it already dragged on too long at the end.

>Can steal abilities and use said abilities while holding his book.
>Can even use 2 abilities at the same time using the bookmark, which only gives him a few restrictions, but also allows him to use an ability without holding the book at all.
>Can teleport people without moving an inch
>Has immense speed and agility, even being more athletic than Hisoka.
>Can put bombs on people using sun and moon, which doesn't even require the book to be active to stay activated, because the elder of meteor city who gave the ability died and increased the power of his ability.
>Has the ability to switch appearances with everyone, but can also transform someone into him. Combined with the bookmark allows the user walk around everywhere without being recognised. Deactivating turns the user back to his original form, but the clothes remain.
>Can create an indoor fish which can chew up everyone in the room without even killing them.
>Can conjure a cloth that can shrink things and even people.
>Can control an infinite amount of puppets using the order stamp.

How does anyone beat Chrollo Lucilfer without hack writing and plotarmor? He has to be the strongest non chimera-ant.

Attached: 843732358723.png (794x250, 200K)

We just don't know

Can you imagine Hisoka vs Chrollo animated?

>Pretty long fight due to dialogue
>Humans blowing themselves up
>Hisoka turning into a fucked up corpse

I believe Togashi planned the final 2 arcs to be rather long, but i believe he regrets it at this point. This is how he's going to rush the ending

>Zoldyck family and Gon will find a reason to go to the dark continent
>Phantom troupe vs Hisoka will get resolved on the ship
>Succesion war will somehow fuck everything up and crash land in the dark continent in 1 way or another
>Final arc is 1 big battle royal with some princes alligning themselves with the big baddy of the dark continent or some shit like that
>Gon will regain all of his power somehow and reaches his potential in child form
>Big baddy gets beaten by the zodiacs and the good princes
>Hisoka wants to fight Gon at his prime, but notices Gon doesn't give it his all
>Kills Ging
>Gon fucks up Hisoka

End of HxH

What about Pariston?

So I'm watching this anime, not familiar with the manga. Just finished Episode 136. I have to say, this really is the best anime I have ever seen, bar none.

If it ended on the end of the Chimera arc you would have thought differently. The narrator was so fucking annoying.

So, how many years until HxH returns to weekly release?

not him, but I liked the chimera ant arc better than the election shit. They tried way too hard to make Pariston look bad without actually explaining why it'd be bad if he won until like the second last episode

>Togashi planned
Buddy I won't judge you for lying to yourself if it helps you sleep at night.

Togashi literally said he respects Chrollo a lot. He will never kill him.

Attached: 76358762357.png (399x370, 158K)

It's just like the heraldic eagle, a symbol of force. That's why it appears with netero and why it appears everytime the king goes "i'm the stronger" mode.

Best joke of the day.

Killing his underlings. That's why Hisoka took out Shalnark and Kortopi - their abilities gave him a lot of trouble.

He could have done his strategy with Shalnark's ability though.

togashi will forever be the shonen goat in my eyes for this reason, understands how easily boring things can get with a genre aimed at kids which is why he had no structure for HxH. If it got stale he moves on, although now he's just not bothered trying to appeal to kids any more with the recent arcs, given how the audience have gotten older and there aren't as many newcomers (despite what Yea Forums will tell you about muh netflix)

kk user

Attached: 1555759401979 copy.jpg (638x638, 165K)

The Hisoka thing wasn't even that bad.

What was so bad about technique kept him alive the clones also took blow from the bomb? Gon literally lost his powers and almost was killed so I don't think that was all bad.

>discord
is this true? it would explain a lot

one of the worst "predictions" for planned arcs I've seen in a while. For all we know the final villain is Satan himself.

Attached: satan.jpg (752x602, 113K)

Sounds like some calamity shit from the DC.

I still got a bit confused in their fight how did he blow up hisoka's hand?

Capture him by surprised like Kurapika did. I would imagine Hisoka ninja his ass and possibly kill him.

After Chrollo stomped Hisoka on the ground, he pulled a towards Chrollo (Which he probably predicted) and he sneakily place a mark on it. While Hisoka was clearing some puppets the head accidently touched the opposing mark on another puppet and when Hisoka retracted the head it exploded.

Seems like there was a bit of a delay, but it still makes sense.

Best bro sis relationship.

>without actually explaining why it'd be bad
so you just ignored Mizaistom talking about the missing hunters dramatically increasing since his appointment as vice president? this happens at the start of the arc. aside from that, any signs of him being really evil or forced to appear evil were only shown with his brief conversation with the Seirin Group with his bad guy chuckle.

You can't exactly count Cheadle being constantly nervous around him as an example because her character is all about order and honesty. Pariston is extremely unpredictable and could never be read, that's why she's always so tense.

>rubber nen

Attached: image.jpg (1550x1280, 1.21M)

You're the first person who likes Alluka I've ever seen

First, hunt and kill the previous nen users thus removing the abilities he has acquired.
Then go for him when he's at his weakest, with the least amount of skills to pick from.

Is that Hunter x Hunter refernce?

I don't know why y'all give this much of a fuck what each other thinks about HxH. Either it works or it doesn't for you.

and just in case someone brings up the "brain shouldn't have survived that long" argument

Attached: 10 minutes.jpg (439x370, 57K)

there is new hxh stuff?

>so you just ignored Mizaistom talking about the missing hunters dramatically increasing since his appointment as vice president?
but there's never any proof, or even evidence that it has anything to do with Pariston, and it's never brought up again. It's just a throwaway line to make him look bad but it's pretty much meaningless in the context of an election because they don't tell the audience enough about what him or anyone else believes about how the Hunter Association should be run for us to decide if it's Pariston's fault and someone else could fix it.

hell, for all we know, the stats could be skewed by how many Hunters got fucking massacred on Greed Island

Pariston goes from boring to one of the best characters within a few chapters after where the anime ended

the world of HxH might be the laziest thing I've ever seen

Attached: 1541799884903.jpg (1908x1080, 691K)

what are his powers

>O MY FAGGOT LITTLE BROTHER WHO CAN FIX EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE

Were Hunterfags ever able to explain shit or are they treating it as something that never happened? Togashi is such a lazy hack.

Wait for Gon getting back to action after some bullshit, Togashi will reach new levels of asspulling, and Im saying it as a fan of the series

If Killua lives in Africa shouldn't he be black?

Its more of an ambiguous vibe. Also, its only 11 episodes. Also, he gets more interesting after that (check the manga)

it was a deconstruction of asspulls

HxHs Africa is Meteor City

>Jappon is literally just japan
>Azia
>Ochina
>upside down south america
>australia
>india
>yorknew instead of new york
wait a second, it can't be true that he's a hack right? Is this why people call it a deconstruction or a subversion? Because it's the only defense of something that's inexcusably shit?

see and whenever they can't defend something they just call it a deconstruction or a subversion. Then realize they are talking about that all the fucking time because the series as a whole is a joke.

Not revealed yet, but there's a kino scene where he and Ging speculate about each other's powers. He'll definitely become a key character once the succession detour converges with the main plot

I did start reading the manga after I finished the anime. All of the zodiacs are more interesting and likable outside of the election arc

A question for you fellow anons. Why do you feel so superior to other shonens? I want an unironic response. Why do some people even like gon where his presence isn't really needed in most arcs? I'm not baiting, just curious. I might have forgotten some details since it's been a while I've read it, but can someone explain what would be the greatest strengths of the manga and it's weaknesses.

inb4 it's talk out of anything power

Wrong, Togashi realized that the world building meme was a waste of time and actually makes your story worse (e.g. LotR and it's derivatives)

No, it was very lazy, specially after all the shit during CA arc. Like I said in a thread yesterday, I can understand Killua keeping it before getting rid of Illumis needle, and that would be a big "maybe". For what Ive read, Togashi rushed it because his back, etc (dont know to what extent). Thats why I think we can expect this

>another antihunter thread
zzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I am going to lose my shit if you are about to compare Hunter Hunter to LotR

Attached: 1541815725278.jpg (787x468, 25K)

Gon is Frodo and Killua is Sam, Netero is Gandalf

my response was a deconstruction of serious arguments. Get subverted kiddo

>Ging is a nigger
What did Togashi mean by this?
>inb4 skin color
You know what I mean

>I-I can’t take it when others shit on my mediocre as fuck manga

Insecure hunterfag

Inferiority complex mixed with insecurity.

Pretty much everyone that sucks in the anime works better in the manga, even the invasion part of the CA works better (since it shows a lot of things going on at the same time)

No, unlike LotR, HxH is worth reading

>Greed island is east of yorknew city, just like Chrollo's fortune said

Atleast Togashi stays consistent.

no other shonen gets shit on this much, its as if there's far less overlap between fans of the more childish shonen than there are for fans of HxH.

Wrong.
No one shat on HxH before this "fanbase" started being obnoxious and invading other threads.
Chimera Ant Arc was universally loved.

Why didn't Chrollo appear between GI and the election arc, him acquiring his new abilities or dealing with whatever beast his exorcism created would be great

What? So you’re ignoring the fact that Hunterfags go to other shounen threads and shit up to no extent? What’s more funny is that they always come, embarrass themselves, then samefag their responses with shallow comments like “based hunterchad”. But now you’re telling me you can’t take it when people want to retaliate against your shitposting?

It isnt superior to other shonens, but at least it isnt a generic series all the time (like the anti climax of Hisoka and Chrollo, just to give an example). Some people act as if the "world building" was amazing, which it isnt. But is fun and comfy af that it is similar to the real world, and characters actually know about internet and whatnot, which is relatable to anyone. You could say it feels more realistic in that sense (poverty, mafia, drugs, terrorism, politics, etc). People like Gon because they like their spirit, because it was there from the start too. Killua was a better character but it was ruined by the time you reach Alluka mess (even before that but that was the last nail of the coffin). Also, there are a lot of parties involved in the newer arcs and some like that. For me I actually like Togashis art.

>you guys started it!
and once again this meme appears. You ever wonder that maybe some people didn't like the fact that the board really loved HxH a couple years back? And the over-saturation of HxH "analysis" videos and the subversion/deconstruction meme that still gets riled up when most people have moved past that? On a website where people love shilling for their favorite game, falseflagging as dumb fans of sports teams, etc. you find it hard to believe that most HxH fans just want to discuss their series like everyone else in peace?

i just started watching the anime and why is hisoka so thicc? is there a reason for it? he has the waist and hips of a woman and it's sexually confusing me

>kurakucka
>wastes years of his life over a cockroach
>does literally nothing
I will never not be amazed at togashi's idiocy

1. Nen healing was well established
2. AI will make more sense later on
3. Many of Killua's claims about Alluka were just lies meant to deceive Illumi

>the stats could be skewed by how many Hunters got fucking massacred on Greed Island
Surely the players who died in GI were reported by whoever was running the game at the end? Gon had beaten it so it had to have been shut down. There's no reason why Ging would elect to keep the fates of many Hunters in-game some kind of secret, I mean he was there and all when the missing hunters were mentioned. Also, why would Mizai say Hunters going missing is more abnormal than their deaths?

>best hxh discussion on the board is on a fucking bait post

Attached: gon.jpg (1068x1717, 1.06M)

It's like all the powers in this series are just random bullshit or something.

I think it all started when the atrocious dub came out.
Now these threads have been full of fucking teenage children.

I didn't know New York City held the worlds largest annual auction with ties to the mafia and a concurrent underground auction. With your logic you could make any fictional universe look silly in any way just for the sake of it.

>reminder you need a Y chromossome to get it
See It's literally as straight forward as it gets, bet you feel really proud for being able to read

Wait until he invites a woman out just to peep at some kids asses later, and will get you even more confused

>most people just shitting on it
>best hxh discussion
it says a lot when i still agree with you on that

the "hunterfags" shitposting in other shonen threads aren't even actual fans of HxH. If you actually press them on anything they get basic facts about the series wrong and barely understand anything that doesn't have a copypasta about it. It's literally just a cabal of retards spamming bullshit for moronic reasons

>Nen healing that’s able to fix a completely destroyed body after trading life for a power boost with a single tiny wish was well established
>Hunterfags believe this

Pathetic. The fact that you won’t admit an asspull when you’re slapped in the face with it is what makes you guys the manga equivalent of Rick and Morty fans.

Nah, they said "based hunterchad" and posted that clown character with the yellow star on his cheek so they MUST be fans. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a Discord filled with people like pic related.

Attached: animeking1108.jpg (1300x4800, 3.56M)

I really don't like that the two major tensions of the CA arc were just completely done away with with two asspulls. What was the point of even bringing Kite back into the story?

> with a single tiny wish
Did you not watch the part of the arc where a much smaller wish killed dozens of people, Killua had to transport Alluka while evading Illumi, and Hunter Association higher ups had to invest serious money into keeping Gon alive for a few days? Nobody complained when a card could be duplicated numerous times that heals mortal injuries

Yeah hueuheuhue yyyyy pggggfdfffff mo-mo-more like No Hunter x No Hunter yghgyghgygpffss

>focuses on the autism needed to make that rather than the sheer stupidity of having the same specific username for a twitter, reddit, tvtropes and unironically, a dating site, all the while crossposting between reddit and Yea Forums
really gets the noggin a joggin

>Nobody complained about a lesser asspull

You still can’t defend Alluka’s bullshit with a straight face. It is a 101 asspull. There’s no other explanation no matter how much you spin it.

I will reserve judgement until Killua returns or AI are encountered on the dark continent

it's almost like the fans are trash and people who don't have a massive boner for the series are able to look at it objectively and have actual discussion without everything dissolving into chad and pasta posting

Okay and I love you

To be honest Togashi should have used Leorio to fix Gon rather than just simply wishing it away with a tranny genie.

Hunterchad is a falseflag made up by Shounen fans, the proper term is either hunterbros or hunters

Alluka is only the second worst thing to happen to Killua's character development. The worst was O MY FOREHEAD NEEDLE.

>going through all the trouble to find his dating profile because he anonymously insulted your favorite manga on Yea Forums
You can't be seriously defending this. The guy is a moron, but whoever made that image has way bigger problems.

Because showing off mysterious villians too often removes the mystery. If you see the Hisoka and Chrollo fight you will see it's completely from Hisoka's perspective, and you never see 1 inner monologue from Chrollo.

I still don't understand why Gon was willing to go nuclear suicidal and throw his hunter career and ever meeting his dad over a man he met three years ago. Gon knew more about Killua than he did Kite.

Here's some food for thought.
If Gon can make deals with his nen to unlock his true potential before a fight with the cost being his life why doesn't anyone do that when losing a battle and about to die ?
>inb4 they don't have the same potential
Sure, but they have some potential, right ? Especially young people. Is Gon the only person who knows this one easy trick ?

It would be a bigger asspull, at least AI is a dark continent shit

or how no one else has ever managed to do that

Because muh Gon is one in ten million talents.

Worst was Alluka, second was being a bitch over Gon

Because he was about to get killed by Pitou ? Are we just going to ignore the fact that she (male) was going to kill him and that's the only option he had left ?

>why doesn't anyone do that when losing a battle and about to die ?
it's either a) it just doesn't happen because togashi has never written it to happen for some contrived reason or b) no one else has the willpower that gon, the little fucking child, had

either answer is pretty bad

Because Gon is special snowflake

What are you quoting you retarded nigger ?

>Hunterbros or hunters
>Hunters

Autistic.

Killua is canon gay. Reminder:
>Togashi previously wanted to write a sports shōnen with a canon gay crossdressing boy as the protagonist, but Shueisha shut him down.
>Togashi would then go on to write Yu Yu Hakusho, a hugely popular series.
>as thanks, and because Togashi had worked himself halfway to death, Shueisha allows Togashi free rein to do whatever he wants with Hunter x Hunter (hence his erratic schedules that would get any other author fired).
>Togashi also has full ownership over Hunter x Hunter, giving him absolute control over the story.
>now that he has so much power, Togashi plans on getting revenge on Shueisha for canning his gay sports manga all those decades ago by making Killua gay and they can’t stop him.
Further reasons:
>in chapter 286 (episode 121), Killua literally says he and Gon will commit "shinjū," otherwise known as "double suicide" — a term connotated with lovers.
>Togashi clearly has an interest in the "weird," as seen with Hisoka and Alluka.
>Togashi is married to Takeuchi, author of Sailor Moon — a series that features canon lesbians. In addition, the current Hunter x Hunter arc features a lesbian kiss between Morena and one of her followers.
>Yu Yu Hakusho has a gay couple: Sensui and Itsuki, showing that Togashi is willing to include gay characters and relationships in his stories.
>everything Togashi does is for a reason. When he includes scenes such as Killua's "Gon, you are light" and "shinjū,” he knows how fans will interpret them. To say otherwise implies he’s ignorant.
>to claim this is all bait is to insult Togashi, because that implies he's a hack who has to resort to the lowest form of writing: pandering. He is not that desperate.
>as seen in chapter 323 (episode 139), even Hisoka thinks Killua’s most “beloved” is Gon.
And the main reason:
>Togashi is a mad man.

Attached: 75bdf263432cd1ecdc95ac2d0a05b9fc.jpg (600x490, 46K)

I don't think the needles is the big problem. Honestly I think that's one of the best scenes in the whole series. Killua basically realizes what Gon means to him DEAR friend even has the stereotypical image in his head of his waifu looking back at him during battle with rammot. It's actually pretty funny, it's probably one of the gayest scenes in the whole series even with shit like pic related.
Shoehorning a sister to protect pretty much ruins the entire point of how Killua feels about Gon. But who knows maybe this is just a way to finally teach Gon how Killua felt since Killua's love was pretty much 1 sided. Like Gon said during the dodgeball tournament "only Killua can do this for me" He's his only true partner he can't just leave him, he will realize this eventually.
Killua also needs to learn to tell Gon how he feels. It would have really helped Gon if Killua would have just told him he cared after Gon said "it means nothing to you" during the interrogation with Pitou, as if to say he doesn't care about anyone, which is far from true.

Attached: 1554692127646~2.jpg (1067x1538, 577K)

It makes more sense in the context of the manga, as Gon's relationship with Kite is established within the first few chapters: Rather than at the beginning of the Chimera Ant Arc with the 2011 anime. It's a master/student relationship that borders on a father-son relationship. Thus it's only natural that Gon feels a sense of loss when Kite is killed and is subsequently perverted by revenge. The motivation is considerably lessened with the 2011 anime as we only learn about Kite later, and his influence on Gon is much less apparent as a result.

HxH is a shit manga full of cliche shonen tropes done right thanks to plot being unique. I'm only reading this shit manga for my wife who was turned into a retarded evil laughing maniac to justify her gary stu brother being the victim of everything

Developing Nen at a young age is a bad thing, brainlet. Wing is purposely keeping Zushi from developing a Hatsu due to that. Learning Nen as an adult is a much better option. Simply compare the Hatsus from children vs the extremely powerful ones we’ve seen from adults.

Picture referring to the waifu imagery Killua has during the needle pulling scene.
It reminds me of that scene in zero no tsukaima during the war/battle scene Saito thinks of his love Louise in a similar image looking back.
You have to be a fool to think this isn't done for a very specific reason.

Attached: 19-04-06-15-11-10-086_deco.jpg (640x520, 60K)

Killua's hatsus are good though. Ja-jaken is shitty because Gon is a moron, not because he's a child

How the fuck is jajaken shitty you universal nigger, Gon only lost a single fight when using it.

it only works as a finisher against anyone who's not a complete retard. Literally just hit him while he charges it and he's fucked

Shaiapouf was the best villain of the series, and everyone who says otherwise is a brainlet.

Gon is not sit there with his fingers up his ass and just die he has a ranged attacks ,and already proved that he's smart enough to feint attacks mid charge then counter. Gon is far better fighter than you give him credit for.

He was boring and did nothing
Butterfly was more interesting than him, especially Pitou.

Pouf was the butterfly idiot.

Agreed. The whole "royal guard needs to betray the king's trust to truly protect him" plotline is almost always great, and Pouf was a fantastic execution of it

Pous was a charismaless megafaggot that accomplished nothing.

Who was the red guy sorry I'm really fucked up now

I like the way how he loved the idea of the king more than Meruem himself. He was the most antlike of all the royal guards due to his radical idealism.

Youpi nigger

Youpi

Thanks

He got Pitou killed. He was one megafaggot traitor.

Gon has been in like 4 fights since he learned Jajanken, if you don't count those rando soldier ants.

>He was the most antlike of all the royal guards due to his radical idealism.
I actually never thought of it that way, but you're right. He was the only ant that stayed focused on "the colony" compared to either being non-involved like Youpi, following Meruem's every whim like Pitou, or scheming for his own ends like the soldier ants. Watching him scramble to try and erase every trace of Komugi after Meruem lost his memory was one of my favourite parts of the arc

Kite is Gon's father figure in the manga and closer than Leorio and maybe Kurapika. 2011 was a mistake.

I like to think that the Needle was largelly a metaphor for his character development.

That's also why he seemed like the most villainous out of Meruem and the other ants, because was the physical representation of the threat that the ants projected, a world ruled by the perfect king.

It is known

It's a really specific set of circumstances that need to happen and there's was no reason for Togashi to show something like that happen before Gon San, nobody said only Gon can do it

TIL Tolkien copied togashi

>He got Pitou killed
Based Pouf.

Zazan mutilated her tail for some physical boost to fight Feitan. It is more or less the same idea.

So, out of maybe 20 Nen fights that we have seen in the entire manga, 2 used the power up. 10%.

Can someone post kissy pitou?

2011 torpedoed the fanbase. Every thread is a race to see who can be the biggest retard because kiddies think every board on Yea Forums is supposed to be like Yea Forums

Nen type ranking:
Enhancer > Specialist > Transmission > Emission > Manipulation > Conjuration

The chapter isn't even out
Every week the spoiler chink undersells shit.
every week the trolls read these "spoilers" and deem that "nothing happens"
The chapter comes out and there's hype shit
Trolls still say nothing happens
repeat this every release day. It's all so tiresome.

Reminder that HxH threads are shit now because of teenagers watching the atrocious dub that's out now.
Reminder you're not a hunterchad if you're watching the dub.

>hunterchad
they're shit because of people like you dumbfuck

Fuck you underage shitstain dub cocksucker

How strong is Killua's father?

>I'm going to die, I may as well kill myself so I can spite the person I'm fighting instead of, you know, come up with something that WON'T kill me
Now, see, without some personal stake here, it won't happen.

The whole point of Killua overcoming personal weakness is completely undercut by the needle, because it removes the flaw from his person and places it in some artificial external factor. It's too sudden and doesn't give him a chance to grow out of it organically. It also serves as a convenient way to jack up his power level as the plot demands. Not to mention that the existence of the needle was what allowed Alluka to be shoehorned in.

And don't get me wrong, the homoeroticism was one of the few parts of the series I actually enjoyed.

kek that's some top level autism

Togashi is subverting expectations by not releasing weekly in a weekly magazine

kek

the idea is that meruem cannot beat komugi, this is the only thing in life that penetrates the loneliness caused by his overwhelming dominance, but komugi is physically so weak that she cannot defend herself from an eagle or a domestic cat or dog or even an average child

Komugi is alone because she is weak and helpless, Meruem is alone because he is strong

HxH threads didn't even reach cancer singularity until late 2017 even then the raids weren't till it came back in 2018.

you know that like, mangaka are friends with other mangaka

At this rate MHA will do more with dollar tree Morena than Muhbackshit ever will

This post? More like Based x Redpilled.

Illumi is so cool

Faggots like (You) that scream hunterchad and add nothing to thread besides BASED and unfunny pastas torpedoed these threads.

I don't know, I see it as Killua's realization of his feelings for Gon was what helped bring him to fight his curse, drove him mad enough to injure himself, just to happen to pull the needle. Pretty tragic yet cheesey but at the same time a beautiful moment.

Also side note him saying DEAR friend 大事なお友達 is significant, there's a reason why Togashi didn't just write the common term for "best" friend トップ友達 or まぶ達 , there are specific reasons why he chooses certain words to describes how a character feels.
Ask any native jap how 事なお友達 (what Killua says) sounds, they'd laugh out loud and think it's gay, nobody says that.

Another mad shitstain dub supporting teenage faggot

No, that's New Zealand

Consider actually reading the series.

>we knew about Alluka's existence since the Killua Rescue arc and she was shown directly in Chimera Ant arc
>we knew that the HxH world was way bigger than we were told since the FIRST fucking page that literally says "unexplored lands"
>we knew that there were strange creatures since the Hunter Examm (the shapeshifting things that took Gon and his friends to the exam location, that big ass turtle with strawberries, that giant frog etc)
>we knew that there were stronger powers that went way beyond nen ever since Melody told s about the Sonata of Darkness.
>Killua didn't use Nanika before because of Illumi's needle and also how dangerous it would be to reveal to the world of Nanika's existence. He used Nanika only because of the extreme situation that Gon was in.
>Silva literally says "that thing comes from somewhere else, its not of this world"
>Nanika is a confirmed AI (one of the 5 calamities from the DC)
>Zigg Zoldyck was in the DC and he brought to the human world an AI
>AIs are based on "co-dependance of desire"

Kill yourself you lying fucking newfag, the dubs were around for a solid two years before console war cancer became a thing in these threads

>Talking with low IQ speedreaders.
Eh

I had to since there are 60 people here and not even one of them could provide a counter-argument to those subhuman shounengfags crying about Alluka. Then someone here dared to say that "hunterchads are not real fans and when asked about the series they don't know the details"

Attached: 1498521308058.png (720x389, 97K)

Eh

>by how many Hunters got fucking massacred on Greed Island
But not a single hunter died on Greed Island you speedreading pleb. And the many players that got killed by Genthru are not hunters!

Not a single hunter died in Greed Island.

Yeah blame it on the dub you retard. Surely faggots like you did nothing wrong.

Friendly reminder that the better part of a HxH episode was spent on describing the advanced concept of compounding interest.

Autism. I feel pretty bad for your parents. They have my sympathy.

Kys weebsubhuman neckbeard.

Can probably take out most of the spiders in 1v1.

The fact that you spend the entire post on reasons why the setting permits the existence of Alluka (some of which are only retroactive in any case), rather than the actual issues of her existence sabotaging Killua's character development, and the basis of her purpose being a get out of jail card for Gon, is very telling.

Because people are arguing that Alluka is an asspull. Therefore I showed that the premise for her existence was foreshadowed way back.
As for the issue about Killua's characte development. I don't see it. Care to explain? Killua has always had a dependant personality. The focus of his dependance was Gon but then after he realized that Gon wasn't "light" and that he could actually hurt him, he moved his dependance on Alluka. That is perfectly in character for him and doesn't ruin any development.
As for Alluka being a " get out of jail card for Gon". That's just your headcanon, because Gon's contract only said that he gave up his Nen, so Togashi didn't really need to put him into a coma, or he'd just have a very powerful nen exorcist cure him, or he'd use Ging to cure him, or he could have used used Leorio's new ability to cure him.
There were tons of way to heal Gon but Togashi choose Alluka because that served the narrative better and made us understand how powerful the calamities are.

Hard to tell how good Jajaken is considering Gon only got to used it in the intended way (where the opponent had to predict which he selects) twice, and one of those times was against a rather powerful hunter

>the entire point of Greed Island is that it's a game for hunters that only hunters should be able to access
>the majority of people playing weren't hunters
bravo Ging

>Hunter plays Greed Island, lives.
>Nen user plays Greed Island, dies horribly.
Working as intended.

Who will fight Lord Satan? Gon and his friends + Hisoka and maybe Melody?

North Africa you dumb ignorant nigger.

Looks like the iPhone posters scumbags discordniggers ESLfags are here to spread their cancer.

Well LotR is boring and shit. I prefer ASoIaF.
No and no, no

Well his death caused 46.613 more people to die because his scales terminated or something.

>maybe Kurapika.
Nah nigga, Kite was closer to Gon than Kurapika baby.

Seething assblasted faggot.

>Add the 4th prince learning Nen and developing King Crimson Hatsu already
Nen geniuses exist, Neon Nostrade basically woke up one day and could see into the future.
>Heavens arena introducing Nen without prior foreshadowing in the previous arc which had top tier nen user like Netero
See >Killua recognizing Dragon Dive
That's a legitimate plot hole.
>Royal Guard inserting semen in Mereum mouthed after getting Netered and bringing him back again
He's an inhuman creature based around consumption and assimilation. His nen ability revolved around consuming creatures and their aura to get stronger, plus aura can allow a body to heal.

Someway I kinda feel sorry for you. Must be hard coping with autism huh.

Dumbass you’re still shitting up threads talking about your ESL?

Not enough to handle teenage Chrollo

Chrollo must be so easy to write for Togashi. He can make up abilities on the spot and no one would bat an eye.

how the fuck did Chrollo convince Shalnark to let him steal his antennas to use against Hisoka? Am I a brainlet who misunderstands how the book works, or was Shal really THAT loyal to the spiders?

Chrollo can give the abilities back after he rips out the page of the book.

ah, that makes sense. I thought the powers were gone forever once he stole them, I must have missed that bit

The only downside with Shalnark's abilities is that the items like the phone and antenna's are actually physical objects that gets manipulated by the ability, which is why Chrollo couldn't return Shal's ability right away.

When did Netero spook that eagle?

Assuming Togashi writes 1 volume every year. How many years would it take Togashi to finish this arc?

CHROLLO LUCILFER IS SATAN YOU BRAINLET

L U C I F E R

And Kurapika is an angel.

>we knew about Alluka's existence since the Killua Rescue arc

Huh?

There was a family photo from the Zzoldyck arc that has one extra sibling than what we knew. So there was always an unknown sibling.

Based.
