Plot is rushing at lighting speed, "tournament arc" has been shoved to the finale in a few chapters, author isn't even drawing any cooking anymore. I'm not too sure about the sales but I don't think they are too rosy.
It could end very well with the next volume but nothing is confirmed yet. Would be better for everyone though. Shit is awful now.

Asahi maybe a little but he still barely got screentime during the Central arc and the entire arc made sense and was well structured, Erina definitely not, she got as much or less screetime than the other characters(back where there were more than 5 characters) and had an amazing character arc which ended in finally coming to an understanding with Souma and herself more importantly, and then the manga ended, the manga ended on the RdC EVERYTHING ELSE IS FANFICTION.
