To be honest I like the change, I dropped this manga on chapter 1 before coming back to it, beacause I just felt bad for senpai, but when it turned into more of a playfull relationship it became way more enjoyable for me and this recent reversal of roles is entertaining and I think it can serve to deepen their relationship which is shaping up pretty well so far in my opinion.
