Is there any career sadder than Seishi Kishimoto's?

One of those guys who shot themselves in the foot.

He had pretty nice run with 666 satan but blew it because he couldn't take it for what it is and thought shit was better than naruto

substitute every other series of his and its the same story

>Mad Chimera World was pretty dope
>By the 3rd volume it's generic seinen action that takes its symbolism way too seriously

No wonder it got canned. Should have stayed as a travel manga though a weird world

>Entire career is one volume and a one shot

But perhaps the older Kishimoto is to blame for this somehow as well since this dude was his assistant once. Also for what it's worth 666 Satan wasn't any worse than any other battle shounen on-going these days.

I liked Mad Chimera World, I think he is a better artist than his brother but he needs to do a normie-friendly battle Shonen like Naruto to get rich.

The twins should team up for their next series. One guy brings edgy shit and the other guy brings autism bait. It would be the next big thing.

that's what you get when you are so edgy that you literally give your manga a name that sounds like a satanic sentence

>normie-friendly battle Shonen like Naruto to get rich.
He did it at least twice with 666 satan and blazer drive.

He needs to go full on weird shit

THIS, he makes some really good monster designs.

idk, I think having rich as fuck brother who has all the pressure while you just draw for fun is quite ok.

How mad chimera world ended?

>thought shit was better than naruto
we talking b4 or after the chuunin exams?

I do like how he keeps his series short and don't overstay their welcome, a lot of shonen mangaka's could learn a thing or 2 from him.

translation picked up steam again so just wait and see

It's funnier (or creepier I guess) when you consider that his brother has since gone on record that Sasuke is supposed to be based on Seishi and Naruto is supposed to be based on himself.

I really liked 666 Satanthough thats probably because I was 16 at the time. I should probably reread it, and maybe check out that Mad Chimera World

I had more fun with 666 Satan than the entire second part/shipuuden part of Naruto.

user posted about it in the canned/hiatus manga thread.

Yasuhiro Kanou

To be fair, his shitty brother stole concepts from his manga.

What happened with his career? I have never heard of this literal who before.
