While Yea Forums had attacked Arpeggio of Blue Steel for going 100% CG, some other anime made by Chinese sources (outsourced by the japanese production company) was 100% CG and it was great.
As for chinese companies making 100% CG anime and producing it under their own name, you have season one of The King's Avatar (aka Quanzhi Gaoshou) which was well-received on Yea Forums. Season two is coming and will be even more flashy, highly detailed, and sharp.
China's animation is superior. S1 of King's Avatar had the sharpest and detailed animation of anime shows that season. S2 should have the same result when compared to other anime shows of it's cour.

For example, Harry Potter and some other popular western stories were mashed together to create what the chinese author thought was a "best" work because it combined the best ideas, encounters, and sequences from proven top western stories. As expected, western copyrights get ignored.
If you made a great fanfic, there's a good chance it was found and rewritten by a chinese author and claimed as their own original work. It's all part of the rush to get professionally published and sold to make money.

I started watching a Chinese anime a few months ago, Fox Spirit Matchmaker, initially ironically. The first season was painfully terrible at first, but it actually improved with time, and now I'm unironically following the 7th season's releases. It actually got good, and even though it still has many flaws, what it does right it does well, and it has a unique charm.

Chinese animation is well developed and the japanese anime houses often send work to China. It doesn't look like that in the credits because the Chinese companies open up a front office in Japan, so there is a japanese-named company that is a subsidiary of the chinese one.
