Are there no more good VNs to adapt?
>good
Muv-Luv Alternative
Ones that would make a good anime? No, not really.
I finished the first season of this a while ago but thought it was just alright aside from Shaft's direction. Is the second one better/different or should I skip it?
Who could forget such a masterpiece?
it's better
I'm gonna rewatch all the VN adaptations because I'm getting bored of LN/manga which are all basically the same
There's plenty. Some shorter novel like Kara no Shoujo would do neatly if it got a proper adaption. Of course the majority of adaptions tend to be short 12 ep rush qualityfests so it's not like I don't get where you're coming from.
>Are there no more good VNs to adapt?
Yuritopia or rather Kindred Spirits on the Roof would be a godsend
>Yuritopia
sounds awful
One of the strengths of VNs as a medium is the route system, which really doesn't work in anime. Kara no Shoujo would be a very different experience with only the true end.
You could just say fuck it and do what Yosuga no Sora did, I guess.
Loved the VN and was thinking about watching the anime when my memory of this story was starting to get hazy. It kinda is hazy right now but I just want to reread the VN now, unless the anime is really a unique experience?
Yeah, well Fata morgana no Yakata is linear, could be adaptable. G Senjou no Maou is definitely adaptable too and I have some weird ideas of Sharin No Kuni's adaption where you just reveal the sister following him right from the beginning and silent with everyone ignoring her with all the plot happening anyways.
I remember it being bad. Sound was pretty bad too.
It is a lot worse.
I already remembered it. Saw it a few months ago, really enjoyed it, it looked super cool and the story was interesting, especially in Tale of Memories.
I liked the first season a lot more than the second. The second didn't have any of the stories I found interesting in the first season.
>mla
>good
Haruka no Sora
I just want to save Chihiro lads
shut the fuck up you fucking shitface
dude ptsd lmao xD
>Kara no Shoujo would be a very different experience with only the true end.
While that's arguably true for the second game, I really don't think the first one would suffer much as the story is pretty linear. You'd lose only a handful of gore bad ends.
>contrarian for the sake of it
The games are far from perfect because dude lacrosse lmao but there's a reason why the franchise is acclaimed.
It's not PTSD if its cute
―He was infuriated to see Jinguuji-san dining with another man.
It is one of my favorite anime.
Would be my favorite romance anime if not for KareKano.
>>Yuritopia
>sounds awful
mangagamer.org
That VN is such a hit Mangagamer brought over the Japanese audio versions and drama CDs
>VN is such a hit
that's never a good sign
sounds awful.
The other phone scene is better. Probably also because I didn't expect it.
I agree. I like the OP's one more since I'm sucker for happy endings, but that one was fantastic.
Video too long (video: 207.791s, max: 120s) fuck you gookmoot.
I like happy endings too, but I don't mind much what happens to the characters before that, the first phone scene was gut wrenching and it just kept going.
there are plenty you EOP fuck
getting real sick of these newfag threads with shit like muv luv and g senjou no maou bring brought up by newfags
Shouldn't you be busy playing your kusoge eroge that surely has more merit than all these novels made accessible by their popularity? How do you even find the time to post in the threads when there's all those 10/10 lined on your plate?
(You)
You probably put more effort in to this post than your previous one.
I know remember, thanks op
I never forgot. I never forgave.
Still waiting for Aselia.
Read the VN filthy secondaries
>the anime is really a unique experience?
It's shit.
Hey, remember when Makoto Shinkai did OP sequences for VNs?
Fuck her voice forever. Moreliek Cheesegraterhiro.
I have. And I preferred the anime.
So you prefer extremely rushed, butchered adaptations?
I don’t think the memory part was butchered at all.
I would say it elevated the source material in nearly every way.
The second is even more melodramatic, but I think it wraps up nicely.
It wasn't rushed, just at a faster pace, which imo made it better because whatever they left out wasn't very interesting in the first place.
As always, the VN generallly developed relationships better, and had a few less retarded character moments than the anime. However, the direction was good, and there were more powerful scenes.
peak SHAFT desu
They cut out an entire chapter from the VN (Kei and Kyousuke's story), how is that not butchered?
pretty sure I dropped it after
>ball rolls into the road
>sunbeam is a stairway to heaven
Why are VN adaptations so dead? There was 0 last season, this season has YU-NO which is butchered version of a butchered remake and next season has 0. What the fuck happened?
You're talking like there has been a constant stream of adaptions until this moment.
phantom trigger anime just got announced
that's the literal ending though
That's why you should read the VN.
VNs themselves have been dead for around a decade.
there was an episode after it
There's like one VN adaptation every couple seasons now. It's been dead for years. Last I remember being adapted in the last two years are Dies Irae, Planaterian, and Island.
That's what you get for liking a side character. Kei a shit.
>side character
Whatever you say, secondary.
Imagine liking Kei's shitty story
