CAGE OF EDEN

I started this literally some years ago, but I cant go further.
I read it when I remember but I feel bored.
Im a pleb or wat?

Ending was terrible since it got axed so you're not missing much.

It gets shit anyway, such a shame since an ensemble cast like this doesn't come too often.

It's a shit series done by a shit mangaka who went on to do a few series that were even shittier. Just drop it.

In the second panel, at first I thought the girlwas giving it a hug

>Im a pleb or wat?
Not at all. It's fairly enjoyable, but it's nothing great.
Also, it goes downhill halfway through and has a crap ending

It's a shitty ripoff of Drifting Classroom

the rushed ending make me very angry.

I wish the author hadn't blue-balled us so much with all the attempted rapes.
I few successful ones couldn't have hurt

This desu. All dem rapebaits dangling with none in return. Fuckk

It isn't very good, just give up on it.

The only thing good about it were the prehistoric animals aspect.

So has the author ever explained what the fuck was up with the time travel bullshit?

Yeah, obviously they weren't going to ruin the heroine by having her raped, but there's no reason that a few of the numerous, spare girls hanging around couldn't have gotten it

Don't waste your time like I did user.

You made it sound far better than it actually was!

I gets more retarded as more groups of people are introduced plus everyone complains about the ending so I never finished it either.

Ending is rushed and retarded.
Something something about traveling to the future. Also they're he last humans left on Earth since a virus wrecked the whole world.

Editors keep ruining good manga

>Earth since a virus wrecked the whole world
I don't remember that part

No, the island they are on has no humans left alive, since the virus killed all the people there.

It was shown in the epilogue. If I remember, a pathogen, that was fatal only to humans, was released and killed everyone in the island. The island got quarantined, and that was the explanation why there were no people in the island.

how good was the rape in this manga? Would consider reading it if it was good

Sadly, I don't recall it having any rape.
Plenty of attempts, but they all unfortunately end in failure.

Dude, no. It's a shitty school-ensemble ripoff of LOST.

No. He didn't know how to explain the juxtaposition that got them all there in the first place, unlike the tv series that explained it as "they all died in the the plane crash, this was death limbo and they couldn't tell. Once they could tell, they moved on."

It's actually kind of a pity the way his later work got more perverse and his art improved, as I think I actually found the girls in Cage of Eden hotter than the ones in his later manga.
It would have been nice to see the earlier girls getting the later ones' treatment

Ending and some of the plots are literally lifted of Drifting Classroom

I seem to recall around the time it ended some Yea Forumsnon said he thought it had something to do with some of the technology they had on the island

A classic case of mystery being more interesting than the reveals, a real standout in this case because the reveals were either retarded and/or never explained. I actually liked it until they revealed the plane went through time for no reason.

If you're gonna draw a "more equal" discussion between Cage of Eden and Drifting Classroom/LOST, then you've never seen LOST.

Didn't his new manga also get axed?
Without even telling us why people from Cage of Eden were in the present, like the island never happened? Or why Kokonoe (chemistry teacher) was married to the flight assistant?

Which ones?

I always thought the re-used characters were just alternate-universe versions of them.

Also, I didn't hear about any of his series getting axed, even if some of them had ended

Clever chick with perfect memory > karate pantyhose girl > super-sensitive gymnast girl > class representative > brown college chick > the rest

I think what really undermined the series for me, was that the typical shonen guts & friendship! motifs didn't really mesh well with a harrowing survival story
