At least you're saving something.
Why was Shirou so autistic?
Just because you are correct, doesn't mean you are right.
Shirou is a musclehead whose solution to every problem is to poke it with a sword.
Unholy floating blob of evil? Poke it with a sword.
Future self shows up to tell you you're being an asshat? Poke it with a sword.
Servant feeling mopey? Tohsaka is antsy about something? Poke it with a sword.
Heaven's feel is supposed to be the route where he gets past this, except he ends up using the "poke-with-sword" strategy there too, and somehow it all works out.
There's a lot of FSN that's good, but Shirou is obviously a less than ideal protagonist.
But it works.

Servant has not prana?
Poke it with a sword.
A one track way in dealing with issues is simply the Emiya way of problem solving
Yeah unfortunately Sakura is a slut so even if he wanted to use another option he would have to use his sword.
every time i see this guy the only thing that comes to mind is Dante if he went to the leather club 3 blocks down
>t. Rinfag seething that Sakura is the canon wife who was deflowered by Shirou on the big screen
BASED
Shirou never changed for Rin. UBW is meant to end open to either optimistic or pessimistic views. Most low IQs optimists will just ignore the very real signs that UBW Shirou could still end up losing everything or ending up like Archer.
Only route where he has no chance of becoming archer is Sakura's.
>Most low IQs optimists will just ignore the very real signs that UBW Shirou could still end up losing everything or ending up like Archer.
The real low IQs are the ones who don't realize that "ending up like archer" is a statement that assumes archer himself (and thus Shirou even if he becomes archer) doesn't have a brighter future ahead of himself due to the events that took place. It's the route where Shirou accepts that a future will come where he might doubt himself and even regret his choices in life, but that won't be the end of the world, and he will know that he can still move on past it.
>he will know that he can still move on past it
Can't move past "forever" when
read the vn
>The real low IQs are the ones who don't realize that "ending up like archer" is a statement that assumes archer himself (and thus Shirou even if he becomes archer) doesn't have a brighter future ahead of himself due to the events that took place.
user... the events of UBW literally change nothing for Archer. He's eternally doomed, and has his memories of the UBW route wiped right after he returns to the throne of heroes.
Because you guys are talking about it. Since Rin chooses to go with Shirou in UBW True End, how could she still continue her works with the Clock Tower ? It's not like Rin can just go to anywhere she wants and then comes back to CT when they needs her, especially when she has just started studying in here for two years. Rin (as the head of the Tohsaka) + Waver also go to Fuyuki in 2014 to dismantle the HGW system and there's a conflict between two factions about that HGW stuff before so Rin must be in the CT when it happens.

You're trash.

Become Sword The Hedgehog so all they can feel when they touch him is razor blades
FUCK YOU
That happens to you If your servant is a scabbard.
No you actually save way less by holding onto your ideals foolishly. If you just hold onto the ideals rather than trying to save people, all you'll be left with are ideals, and even those are hollow after awhile. Its like a cop autistically following the letter of the law, rather than the spirit of the law, even if the letter of the law means more people die or more innocents are punished in the name of a corruption that controls the force from on high. You aren't actually saving anything, you're just holding onto a hollow dream rather than saving anyone.
Its like MoS; he's just going to be lying to himself forever, his ideals are already dead, Ilya pities him since his life and ideals are a lie but he's chosen them over saving anyone. He's the same as Kiritsugu, except in a very bad way. He's the same as Kiritsugu during the boat problem situation. During the boat situation he only holds onto the concept of "The higher number" no matter what, but because he did this he ended up killing everyone. That's not justice; Shirou's ideal fails because it has no leeway, it has to be absolute in all situations, and it always follows the letter of the law rather than the spirit of the law even if far less are saved because of it. In this situation, he is only trying to save an ideal, and not people. Shirou in MoS is destined to kill all his friends and family and millions of innocents, at the cost of having nothing to show for it in the end, no one really saved. All he protected as an ideal he couldn't let go of even though it was already dead.
Its like; is your dream to save people, or just to protect your ideals/protect your own ego. Sometimes in order to save people you gotta compromise in some harsh ways. Archer is pointing out "What do you truly value" and Shirou chose his ideals over saving people even if that sounds ironic. Even if his ideal is saving people, choosing the ideal in all situation can ironically mean less are saved.
TM has really stupid dialogue.
Archer is just one possibility of possibilities. Every Fate true end is optimistic.
>Every Fate true end is optimistic
>Being this brainlet
Retards sure are retarded
But Shirou was supposed to be the scabbard.
>no argument
>being this much of a pseud
They sure are.
Too much abstract thought. That's the problem with Nasu too, autistically obsessed with ideas but can't portray them convincingly. His characters become mouthpieces spouting chuuni dialogue.
We call that dedication and commitment, user.
How about you talk shit about Redman one more time and I smack you in the god damn mouth, huh? How would that be? Huh, motherfucker?
>deflowered
hahahahahahahahahahaha
Shirou confirmed it.
is archer achievable natty?
Shinji confirmed otherwise.
>trusting a misogynist villain
only if you have top 0.001% genetics
>Servant feeling mopey? Tohsaka is antsy about something? Poke it with a sword.
Lewd.
>Not believing the rapist in this case
>IDEALS
Archer is a pathetic faggot who is solely to blame for every single bad thing in his life, a miserable failure whos words are the venom of a bitter sad man who wishes to drag others down to his level
So he's Yea Forumsrcher?
something like that
Then there's nothing wrong with Archer. If you're weak enough to get dragged down to his level then maybe you should have been there to begin with.
Shirou's a pretty good MC.
>theres nothing wrong with being a hollow miserable wretch whos only goal in life is to ruin others because he couldnt succeed himself
user, are you alright in the head?
Is Archer a nigger?
Depends on your definition of success. Some people are just inherently people who consider success to be someone else's failure.
It's the reason we have sayings like "Cuts off the nose to spite the face". Some people just don't follow the same rules.
Not anymore, thanks Albert.
Saving everybody is an unreachable goal. But it isn't wrong to try.
>It's not like Rin can just go to anywhere she wants and then comes back to CT when they needs her, especially when she has just started studying in here for two years.
You greatly overestimate the identification of the Clock Tower as a "school" in any real sense.
Why didn't Archer just let Kiara help humanity reach Nirvana?
>But it isn't wrong to try.
It is wrong. By trying to save everyone you'll save no one.
A virgin is a virgin even if he's a servant.
no it isnt, where do you draw the line of "I wont try and save these people"?
If you dont try and save everyone you will never save the maximum
Only if you don't have enough strength to cling to your ideals. Strength is everything. All is possible with power and power alone.
Dude got literal brain damage from suffocating during a fire
It's pretty achievable. It'd probably take about 2 years of hard work tho
>TLDR
but what if I don't want any ideals
Also what if my ideals are limited by things such as
1. money
2. time
3. the rest
Yes, she was tortured and experimented on. The worms took away her childish innocence about the world. Doesn't mean she's not a virgin, though.
>Doesn't mean she's not a virgin, though.
Jesus christ how much in denial are you guys?
Dickworms aren't canon.
the point is it's unlikely shirou would become Archer after UBW
What I took from it was that Shirou would still become Archer and the events of UBW were Archer losing track of his ideals and Shirou reminded him why he does what he does. Hence Archer appearing sort of content in the ending.
Huh? So what are we supposed to cling to?
They are to the original, the manga AND the movie.
>retconned porno and secondary trash
So, not canon then. Realta Nua is the only canon version.
