My problem isn't an inability to guess at what happened to him, it's that he was the driving force of NT1-10, yet never got any kind of payoff. The damage has already been done. The dumbest part to me was him pseudo-undying and switching to Touma/Othinus's side with absolutely zero explanation. There's nothing Kamachi can do now to remedy this from a narrative quality standpoint, but giving the man a history and more details on how he functions would retroactively make it all feel a bit more acceptable.

Even down to the same style of one dimensional joke: Skirt flipping is just as tired and drawn out as head biting.The only reason she isnt viewed as such is because it's somehow less cuntish to embarrass your friend in public than to bite your caretaker. In conclusion: Saten a SHIT.

I just finished watching trough both seasons of Railgun after getting interested in the series on Friday due to this song:

The last arch with that blond loli was kind of shit. I also feel that the contrast between the happy slice of life stuff and the horrifying human experimentation going on was really jarring, because the later had only marginal impact on the former. The railgun girl witnessed her own clones being butchered but that didn't even seem to traumatize her at all. The happy ending where nobody even got hurt (except for all the clones that were killed) just felt weird to me. I guess I expected the show to switch to a darker tone overall instead of keeping with the weirdly comfy and happy slice of life stuff.

It was originally an Index arc that got readapted for Railgun, so Touma has to be the one to take him down. Also Accel was pretty much impossible to stop as Mikoto.

Given that I find Touma kinda annoying, I don't really know if I want to watch the main series where he's the star.

The arc was originally from his point of view and only got readapted into Railgun years later. And it's hard to get to like Touma from just watching Index either. The anime just misses a lot of internal dialogue and personality quirks that make him unfunny and preachy so I wouldn't recommend watching it for Touma's sake but rather as an entry into the setting and then switching to the novels.

If Mikoto had to go against her usual self and faught him and ended up having to beg for the sisters lives it would have been a good moment for her to develop and Accel wouldn’t have killed her in the end because she’s not a sister. He just wanted to fight her but she could have shown him what it’s like to make somebody suffer when she begged him not to hurt them or herself anymore. He was so used to the clones just accepting their fate and it even said he was always trying to get them to beg for mercy so he could stop but they never would but fuck all that I guess. Superman Kamijou will just HARD force himself into the show despite having no place in this arc and win the day and save everything and nobody will learn jack shit. Congratulations!

Yeah, I do realize that, my main issue is mostly with how he basically popped into the story in the last 2 or so episodes of the arch with only having been a cameo or a small side character beforehand, and went out to resolve the whole issue with seemingly no wider fallout anywhere.
In general, one thing that annoyed me was how the sisters seemed only to exist in relation to the Railgun girl herself after the experiment ended. From what I gather not even her friends know of those clones.

It's still kind of amusing how in Railgun these are huge events, but when you switch over to Touma's POV he treats Accel as a bad Tuesday and a the shift as a busy Friday.

That’s actually a big problem some people have with Mikoto and such. The clones just sort of disappear. Like Mikoto has some moments with one next arc, but it’s not terribly fleshed out. Honestly that’s what the filler should have been to be honest. Clones trolling Mikoto, the other Railgun girls mistaking a clone for Mikoto and Mikoto has to tail them anxiously all day, etc. Maybe with a reveal at the very end, though then Kuroko would probably rape a few immeadiately.

I was waiting for the whole end portion of Railgun S for a scene where Kuroko would encounter one of the clones. It really bummed me out how they just basically vanished from the story as anything other than few scenes where they spouted exposition.

Well, I have to warn you, Accel doesn't become really relevant until like 12 novels in and doesn't become an MC until volume 15 and the clones are constantly forgotten and reappear ten volumes later do do a little thing.
Mikoto doesn't even interact with them again after the sisters arc in the novels.

Anyway, after the experiment is shut down, AC sends the clones across the world to help them “adjust”. His enemies assume that AC is just trying to cover up a blunder by sweeping the clones elsewhere, but secretly it’s all keikaku doori.

Remember, Railgun is part of Index, not a seperate entity. You can read just Railgun if you want, but certain plot points make more sense when you have a complete picture

Not really. Omega world is just some fanfic created my Orthi to break Touma. Canon storyline without Touma wouldn't have been great and it's likely Mikoto dies as well as even more of the sisters (assuming accel doesn't kill them all).

If you want to talk NTR, it's more like the majority of the sisters (born for the sake of Accel) now like/love Touma. It's more of a father/daughter relationship even if a few of the daughters want to marry their daddy.
