The worst anime ever made. i can't believe i sat through this boring garbage

i'm not responsible for the anime humor thread. some things need to be repeated, though. monster being terrible is one of those things. the fact that this anime is rated anything above 5/10 is an insult to me.

look I'll be honest I haven't seen the material in the OP, but it is rated pretty high on a bunch of anime review sites, like really high. Why is it rated so high if it is "a pile of garbage"? I see countless moe anime on this board that is rated average or poor on most sites, wouldn't that be "a pile of garbage?"

Ranking it among the pretentious man's anime, on a scale of

Stretches of it are an 8 but the morons decided to make it like 30 episodes too long for muh slow burn. Also the drunk dude was a better protagonist than Tenma

It genuinely had no business being as long as it was and the fucking false buildups Tenma had of talking himself up to believing he could kill only to not do it in the end, regardless of how POTTERY the concept was, felt lazy. I think someone could make an image cutting out all of the repititious two episode arcs of Tenma showing up to random town and solving their problems that would make it for a decent series.

Nah, the music and writing were tolerable when they put effort into them. Key The Metal Idol and Infinite Ryvius on the other hand....

i've watched all of these aside from Technolyze. my first answer would be to remove Monster from your list, and watch Lain first.

Death Note (babby's first anime literally very entry level) > Monster (god tier slow burn psychological thriller) > Psycho Pass (a step down but still interesting and a good breather after Monster) > Lain (short and sets the table) > Texhnolyze (less mindfuck, very atmospheric)
