Kagome was my waifu, I remember searching the internet for manga for the first time simply because I heard she was naked in it.

I also really liked the story and stuff

Not very much, but one of my earliest memories with anime is an Inuyasha episode in which some guy is killing demons left and right because it's his goal to slay 1000 demons. Somebody (Inuyasha, I think) is trying to stop him.

I remember being really intrigued by all it had. The setting, the story, the amosphere, the characters.
But then I also remember how fucking annoyed I was with Kagome/Kikyo and the romance surrounding Inuyasha.

That was probably one of the best parts of Inuyasha though, the daily adventures were good but that really set it apart.

It's not without its redeeming qualities and being repetitive isn't an inherently bad thing, it's just that Inuyasha uses a lot of repetitive elements as if they're going to surprise anyone the 2nd, 3rd, or 29th time.

Inuyasha is a pretty shit manga that tried to get serious by Rumiko's standards, for fuck know why. She should have kept with her childish style, even though it could seem retarded it didn't try hard like Inuyasha.

Whats so great about it in comparison with Ranma, Yatsura or Maison Ikkoku?
Nothing, but its the only anime western kids could grow with in hopes of discovering the much better of her works one day.

The anime is even worse being it is literally Filler: the anime, it somhow captured a stable audience, but had to live of dumb fillers for some reason.
The only redeeming quality I could give it is that it doesn't shove up recycled shonen tropes.

It doesn't mean much, seeing how Rumiko Takashi seems incapable of writing anything besides the same romance crap, she just can't design adventure series and had to lock it up on the same script every chapter (search pearl fight final boss, inuyaashaaa!! kagomeeeee!! ...Sorry I secretly love not-kagome your secret twin)until the final one...

Sesshomaru's demon form is literally a giant rabbit ass Pokemon looking motherfucker and it also made him retarded, it's the equivalent of Hiei's green multiple-eyed state from YYH, it's useless and ugly.

Ironically him completing his vow as he was fighting Inuyasha ended up fucking him in the end since his sword getting demonic powers meant that Inuyasha could just lolreversetornadothing the energy back at him and win that way.

That's one of the many things the anime fucked up, though. It never happened in the manga.
