Unfunny jokes 90% of the time and occasionally some pretentious drama and action that tries way to hard to be serious. Although the precise percentages could be different, I last watched it like 5 years ago.

Don't watch if you can't stomach asspull since every serious fight scenes will have it. Hype as hell though

I dropped it after they introduce the big bad which was stupid as hell

some good comedy moments, some shounen fight scenes, and some moments where shit gets real, But in the end, just some Japanese memeing.

I loved it but now I'm just waiting for it to end, it just feels like the gorilla is dragging it on and outside a couple of scenes that made me giggle like the buddha thing and the gorilla wedding. Outside of that though I feel like he just keeps fucking going on and on with the inner monologues about friendship and shit that were already done to death in the last, "final battle."

It may be a shit opinion but it feels like the milks starting to spoil with the plot honestly.

The best characters ever written, the reason why the comedy, drama, and basically everything they make is so great is because they have THE characters to make it great, also if by episode 1/3(depending in the version you are watching) doesn't appeal to you just drop it, your opinion might change in the future but for the wrong reasons, Gintama is not your classic battle shounen and there's nothing like it.
