Actually the whole transition is just terrible. First camera follows the car, that's fine. Then we get a closer aerial look at the house, okay. Then the panning shot, which ends almost immediately and cuts to a closeup where the guy has retarded grin, then cuts to boys. Why are there so many unnecessary cuts all over the place?

Yeah but they can get across it's Mei being a perv without having actual 'weight' to the buttocks. Literally you see them 'sag' as the hand support is removed, you can see the hand moving over the contorts of her body and you can see the clothes stretch and mould to the shape. It's over the top. It's forced. It's hot. It's well done. But it's still forced. There was no need for it.

The entire point of the scene is to see some yuri groping. The weight of the butt is definitely the most important part of the scene.
The animators would have been awful if they hadn't animated the butt. It wouldn't have been arousing.
They absolutely needed to do it. It would have been dereliction of duty if they didn't do it.

Forced animation is a meme. People are used to a certain standard, to a certain number of movements per x frames. As soon as a studio goes to 11 to make it look amazing, some sensitive snowflakes freak out because their puny brains cannot adapt and digest it. That's why we have threads like this. OP's post, for instance. That's really well done and detailed. The point is to express an awkward moment. Could it be done with less effort? Yes. Could it be done with twice as more? Absolutely. Mainly because it shows that their chosen company has no fucking excuse to put out terribly animated shows if KyoAni can do it regularly enough.
