Nobody is saying it's not bad.

It's a sequel to a series that clearly needs to give it a rest, out of good ideas, and what decent ideas are squandered, and compounds on the same problems that DBZ was already having. Mainly the one that only Goku gets to do anything.
Example: Mr. Buu and Uub are combined into one character; Majin Uub....and proceed to do jack shit except get turned into candy and eaten. All that build up...for nothing, because the heavens will melt and hell will freeze before the series allows anyone other than Goku to take out a major villain.

THE PROBLEM is that here comes Super, making several of the same mistakes that GT did, and people eat it right up.
GT does a slice of life episode, everyone fucking hates it for wasting everyone's time with stupid bullshit, who cares about Goten?
Super does a slice of life episode, and its' great, because at least they're giving some screentime to that character they refuse to do anything else with.

Watching (and getting bored out my mind) Super and got me in the mood of rewatching GT, making me appreciate it more for what it was. I was not a fan. There were certainly moments, but I did not feel like I enjoyed a large chunk of the series. Trying to be positive now, for you. Krillin's death was a well done moment. Piccolo's death as well. The last portion of the final episode was good, I could have lived with that being the canon ending. The early fights in the baby saga were cool. Aside from that, other moments I could think of just led to me thinking of how something else in GT ruined them with the follow-up.

I haven't heard that one and it was good.
In fact I think they are all good in different languages, except for one.

Hey that was actually nice. As a side note I'm obsessed with mutchy mutchy, I love the golden color and I also like xenomorph heads like Frieza's 3rd form and Pui Pui.

I used to draw Mutchy mutchy all the time as a kid and I main him in DB Heroes, this fight was actually memorable to me. Though close to that one there's the Rildo fight. Amazing that GT peaked (fight wise) at episode 20 against Rilldo. Maybe the Ice Shenron match comes close.

The only positive I can say about this is that it highlights the idea of teamwork the ToP had, but even then, it still isn't a very strong idea in itself compared to the golden ape and it's the final nail in the coffin for Goku's dynamic with Freeza.
As far as the animation goes, it looks good, but there isn't much at all in the way of choreography. It's fine compared to the transformation if nothing else.
To top it all off, the only other times Super even came close to this were Kaioken x10 and the spirit sword and both were complete shit both thematically and visually.

I was talking about the earth's reflection as far as theming goes. It ties directly to Baby having taken everything away from Goku. The earth itself is all he has left with all the experiences and people he's had and met so it's fitting for it to give him power, even if it doesn't make the most sense. If you're so hung up on that, realize that the waves actually come from the sun and are reflected by the moon so the earth would have a similar effect from the right distance. Again, this isn't the main point though.
