It can be compared to what Blizzard did, announcing a mobile game for Diablo but without utter sense of foreboding that they did when they started talking about mobile phones. And unlike Blizzcon nobody could ask the producers/developers what the fuck was going on.

imagine, 10y anniversary event for index, major announcement teased, they pull the singer of index theme songs out of retirement to perform ALL of the theme songs (including railgun) for the event. event packed with Otaku singing along with the theme songs, and live streaming to the net with their cell phones. Yea Forums so fucking hyped we have a live thread about the event with translator fags trying to translate live for everyone.
hype builds for index 3 to fevor pitch, index thread on Yea Forums hits limits x2 in the 3 hour event, almost like a f-ing american football thread on Yea Forums... this is happening at like 3am EST here on a friday night... Translator fags drop the bombshell that there isn't 1 major announcement but 3! Hype builds, then first announcement comes, some index pachinko game, second announcement, new index book release, third announcement.
