yeah i gotta be honest as a secondary 5 feels really incohesive like araki didn't know what to do

he's dio's son but nothing's ever made of it, they forget about his damage reflect power, he just becomes the group's white mage only there's no tension because we just had a healy dude in part 4 only he couldn't heal himself, ironically the villain is just dio again with a 10-second time stop and everything, the cast was too big so they had to get rid of fugo and even then half the fights are boring and forgettable, again we just did a murder mystery part but it was better because "wait a second there's a serial killer?!" is way cooler than "time to kill the boss" (and killer queen is cooler than king crimson)

like if you look at the very starting setup of this volume it seems like it's supposed to be giorno tricksying people into killing themselves so that he can secretly climb up the mafia ladder, but then they make every other stand a punchghost or shootghost so there's never any need. and anyways they drop it for protecting trish but because of the fucking turtle there's never any tension that she might die so like what gives

There's tons of stands with similar powers. Just between part 5 and 6, there were 3 stands with shrinking abilities. There are 2 remote-controlled water stands, 2 Hermit Purples, and 2 bullet redirection stands. And in the new universe, there are even 2 explosion stands. They just didn't fight each other like Star Platinum and The World did.

And I even forgot to mention the Darby brothers and their stands.
