It has little going for it in terms of uniqueness. Comfy is a fair description, but if you're going for an interesting romance, I'd say it's a bit dragged out. It's not bad, per se: Hitomi's whole conflict is pretty well developed and sensible, the other characters are also good if less fleshed out, and smaller conflicts don't go on for ridiculous amounts of time and reach meaningful conclusions through honest conversation. But it felt like it could have easily been shorter without losing anything of true value.
