Red Riding Hood was apparently axed by Kodansha after the third volume and the author self-published a conclusion chapter at C95. I doubt anyone scanned it though or that it'll be included in the English release.
Ballroom he Youkoso is in hiatus forever because of the Japanese cold.
The English release of Kami no Shizuku died really abruptly after Volume 4. For whatever reason, it didn't pick up the success that the original had among winos in America, and I guess Vertical or the Japanese publisher weren't happy with the sales figures so they dropped it.

It very much had /ss/ undertones going for it, but they never get to truly develop due to the fact that it was cancelled at 3 volumes and a 4th in-progress.
It was part of the reason why I picked it up and enjoyed it very much. Nozomu Tamaki needs to do more /ss/-centric material, this and Nanami/Yuzuru from Dance in the Vampire Bund shows that he do /ss/ material that is just as hot as his vanilla het and loli content.

Scanlation drama is usually the cause of no updates. 90% of the time the source is the translator, otherwise there is no other sources. It is a mystery but sometime 4 groups ether do updates for one series, whine and fight about it, as if they get recognition for doing it. It's all a farce, they are not getting money for it anyway and most of their actual source sites don't have ad revenue to pay their cloud server provider every month.
There is a reason why E-magazines and web comics are not translated because it depends on how the source handles releases by chapters or volumes, that somebody has to pay money for. That is how most raws can appear from but an actual online digital source is almost too personnel to handle. I'm not sure how subscription plan goes, but every issue is like $6 each. I'm surprised there is no raw sharing that could immediately solve that issue for all the series that are never seen or not getting updates. Ironically Chinese webcomic sites are now placing payment barriers per "chapter" behind certain series that have predominate online viewing outside of the webcomic site.
Once comics become completely digitized for publishing, it is going to be much harder to pick up. Some author's social media accounts have preview pages just to grab attention because most online publishers only have one, or no preview pages.

The series I brought up here , from my understanding, was cancelled when the series' comic label was attempted to be merged with another comic label under the same parent publisher corporation. The merger failed and plans to continue the series under the new merged label fell through, apparently contingent on the success of the merger.

IIRC the kid is some PERFECT ORGANISM KARS type Chimera thing and he eventually goes berserk and causes other lifeforms, particularly the females, into turning into trees or something, and then wraps himself up as a cocoon with his cyborg sister. They come out eventually, except MC is reborn as a child (her child?), not entirely sure. It was really strange.
Also, the parasite guy totally gets into the sister's ass which was fappable. Doesn't last long as he just skedaddles part way into the last volume.

Kannagi was one of the manga series that changed how the anime industry did JIT anime (just in time anime). Way back then, a few anime series would publish episodes based upon the manga which had chapters published just a few months before the anime episode featuring that chapter would be issued. JIT is not a new concept as it is widely used in business with B2B transactions dwarfing the consumer to business transactions.
But when the manga author stopped making chapters after a threat, the anime series also had to suddenly stop. After that, the anime industry waited for all the material to exist before publishing a cour or season of anime.
The author claimed medical reasons. But work on other series was done suggesting that the author had abandoned the manga due to the threat. Well, does anyone have the real story?
