The real question is whether it actually is an isekai in the first place. It might really just be the future. The old human and new human war is reignited since the old humans seem to have implemented a system that "isekais" people. If the Kingdom keeps going on, the number of people being isekai'd will increase.

It would make more sense if the author actually took the time to see what an otome game was instead if just taking a regular VN flipping the genders and calling it otome. But to be fair even regular rotkmes dint have villanesses as otome isekais imply. A Male dominated society with mechas would make sense in a visual novel. But flipping the gneders dosent make sense as women are diffrent from men and want diffrent things. Its lazy writing.

Nope, it's not a common thing, because Otome games are visual novels. But the problem or problems with Mob aren't just that it doesn't resemble an otome series at all, but the female characters don't act like females, and the setting makes no sense.
