Uh, the story follows a day in the life of three boys and the girls that love them. Let's just focus on Touma first. Touma has a reputation for being a delinquent in his elementary and middle school days, but in truth he was just very unlucky and get himself into trouble, after getting stabbed by Jinsaku Hino, a super secret plot twist that makes the story darker and gives Touma a more tragic background, Touma's family moves into a new city (maybe Academy City).He hopes to move on from his former life of misery and pain but his reputation as a delinquent precedes him as he is known the Imagine Breaker because of his mean right hand when he punches people.

Clones have never known being without the network. They can restrict information from it, but often choose what to share (Worst mentioned that LO was the type that shared often which leads to "backups"). Some might like LO share more than others like 19090 (who got heart.exe installed) and what hiding the fact that she was dieting to gain an advantage in the toumabowl.

On the other hand Mikoto has been an individual her entire life. No way she would open her mind/ego/heart to all the sisters. Same as how WILL described Worst as someone akin to a hacker in the network. She CAN contribute or merge consciousness, but doesn't. Often she just uses it to take information. Mikoto likely more so doesn't want to join consciousness. It would be awkward and unpleasant for someone who's had their individuality/privacy to be completely opened up.

With that said, sisters would probably have a leap if Mikoto did open up. But just because you open yourself up doesn't mean they are her or she them. All the L5s have very distinct personalities/egos/emotions (often to extremes) which are the reasons why they reached L5 to begin with.
