What effect will Mikoto's gigantic blunder at the end of NT22 have on her character going forwards? Will it change her dynamic with Misaki after she failed to keep her promise to protect Touma?

I'm STILL waiting for muh Devil Trigger Biribiri. Please.

How would Toaruverse be if all the level 5s were nakamas from childhood instead of mentally-unstable borderline-psychotic individuals that just happen to run into each other every once in a while?

Attached: to aru toaru club esper level 5 AC.jpg (850x600, 136K)

You forgot Misaki. Poetic really.

NT23 should be a Mikoto book

>forgot
You mean omitted on purpose.

p.s. Clearly BEST GIRL has real estate in your head.

With Kamachi you have to be patient, very patient

>Knowing why this pasta list exists means I have Misaki on the mind, rather than her pathetic fans

They'd be too strong as a unit, Aleister would've had to create situations that turn them against each other. Who's going to stop them from going into the Windowless Building and confronting him? Sure he'd wipe the floor with them if they tried anything, but that's counter-productive.

And Misaki too!

Not to mention their issues are likely part of what made them level 5s in the first place.

GOD I so fucking WISH that were me lads

Attached: 4731298423.png (117x182, 15K)

Pretty high chances of it either being a Othinus/Mikoto/Index focused volume or a Accelerator one. I guess Touma is a viable option too but what the fuck is he gonna do? Run the entire volume?

>high chances
Don't try to predict Kamachi. Knowing him it'll be a medias res of a completely new plotline that only reveals the open issues of NT22 at the end of chapter 3.

>Run the entire volume?
It'll solve the issue most likely or put a band aid on it. Its highly unlikely this is something that is just going to follow him for all of Part 3 as a constant occurrence.

I really hope they do actually team up at some point, the only real barrier is Kakine being evil and dead. Hopefully him and beetle end up fusing and settling as a well-intentioned asshole.

Kakine isn't dead unless you seriously believe that bombing the Sargasso would have killed him AND you believe that Dark Matter can totally run around without the original creator being alive.

Yeah, I just wanted a SOL where the L5s are friends who hang out and go to school together. Kakine is the kinda asshole everyone in the group hates.

Their mental issues are only half-jokes. Joke part is that they are mentally unstable.

In reality, the AC's actual synopsis is that the L5s are actually very mentally strong. Very strong egos which lay the groundwork for their personal realities. But in terms of a societal standpoint any extreme mentality and behavior can be classified insanity. Competitive is good. Too competitive is insane. Being heroic is good, but actually thinking you're a super hero means you're insane.

Attached: to aru toaru everyone hates kakine.jpg (636x900, 138K)

I wouldn't have mentioned that he was evil if I thought he was actually dead, he's just functionally dead until he shows up again.

>Kakine being evil
Hopefully we get some backstory for him soonish, an NT11 style volume would be cool.

>L5s are actually very mentally strong
>Pretty much half them have had mental breakdowns already

Attached: 1542857925373.jpg (621x622, 84K)

Nobody thinks you’re cool because you posted the ugliest character in the series having a chuckle.

Probably just that guy who thinks Accelerator would survive the Othinus hells again.

They're kids under a lot of pressure, some breakdowns are to be expected. Even Accelerator is still relatively functional.

> Propaganda about Gunha not liking Kakine

Idol manga made them buddies. God why did it have to end?

Attached: Support.jpg (707x284, 61K)

Boys compete for girls.

Gunha was the one who suffered the most OOC interactions in that fan comic by far

Yall remember this shitty theory?

Attached: Friendship theories.jpg (893x974, 190K)

She will slowly fall out of love thinking it was her own uselessness that fucked up everything. Etzali will then soothe her aching heart.

One of the kids did kinda look like Touma in S.

That was certainly an argument I never expected to see. I thought it was pretty well accepted that Touma is one of if not the only human batshit enough tank billions of years of suffering. The only other one I'd bet on is Aleister and even he'd might just snap and nuke everything.

Attached: 1508118396220.png (441x388, 148K)

Mugino was literally ready to hunt Kakine to the end of the earth after losing 3 times in a row over basically nothing. And then went absolutely ballistic that people around her weren't so into the idea of dying for no reason. She's not mentally strong in the least. Mikoto heard someone took her DNA when she was 5 and basically blamed herself for every little thing that sprang from that to the point of being suicidal. We don't know a lot about Kakine, but losing to Accelerator literally sent him off the deep end. Accelerator has the most reasons to be mentally unstable, but has been near suicidal multiple times and still can't function when the prospect of anyone close to him being in the least amount of danger crops up. He's barely holding himself together. Misaki is paranoid to a fault, but it makes sense for her to be. Her and Gunha are probably the most mentally strong by far, and that's largely because nothing at all phases Gunha since he's in his own world.

He’d fuck Othinus up long dick style. He’d have figured out now to beat her by the second time around if not the first.

>thinking it was her own uselessness that fucked up everything
I mean, she did bring the big evil machine that she doesn't know how to control properly to the battlefield. She did fuck things up quite a bit.

I think if the rest explained to Kakine

Also Kakine such an edgy chunni that he would just look down and hate on Gunha's super heroism.

>>Pretty much half them have had mental breakdowns already
Yeah. Shit happens, but they recover and get past it.

It'll be a Kamisato volume. He'll find Touma in the last chapter.

Attached: ChiRig7UUAA_dqp.jpg (800x900, 122K)

Kakine hates Accelerator for being a villain playing at being a hero. I don't think he'd hate a hero being a hero though, even if he might be a bit derisive about it he wouldn't really begrudge Gunha from playing out his fantasy, not that Gunha would be likely to care either way.

Nt22 is the first time the AAA hasn't been a viable asset but a liability instead. Its literally saved his life like 4 times.

All the L4 and higher are mentally unstable and have fetishes.

#1 lolicon
Awaki Shotacon
Kuroko Oneecon slight shotacon
#3/Junko Amphibiancon
#6 everythingcon + shotacon
#5 lesbian masochist yandere armcon
#2 #1con
#7/#0 damselcon

Just because you haven't lost a game of russian roulette doesn't make it a good idea to play.

>all level 4 and higher have fetishes
Literally everyone on the planet has some fetish or other you doorknob.

She wasn't even aware of the fact that she was playing though.

>She's not mentally strong in the least.
Actually it's because she's mentally strong that she refuses to lose. Her competitiveness and pride over petty ass shit is what fuels her ego and allows her personal reality to reach L5.

Point isn't that they aren't mentally stable. Point is that their mental extremes are way beyond normal which allows them to get to L5.

She found some weird, sketchy, seems to be living, pile of machinery that she literally cannot understand, and brought it with her into a high risk situation. She knew.

She knew there was something beyond her understanding going on with the AAA and has done for a while.

>it's because she's mentally strong that she refuses to lose.
Being so competitive that you nearly lose your life trying to do impossible things is literally the opposite of being mentally strong. In the same way that modern psychologists consider narcissists to have rather fragile psyches. They respond poorly to adversity.

Attached: 1549635767254.jpg (569x719, 79K)

It was on purpose.

I was wondering why the hell nobody told her how to close the AAA down, but then I realized there are probably two main reasons:
1) he didn't intend to lose no matter what and leave the AAA open, and
2) he didn't want to give her a method of shutting him out.
It makes sense but Aleister really needs to learn how to share a little more pertinent information.

Attached: 1551929096148.jpg (1989x900, 364K)

In terms of mental power I'd say

Kakine(literally taking over Byouri's conscious while dead, how much fucking ego does one have for that to happen?)=>Gunha>Accelerator>Misaki>Mikoto>Mugino

I think it would end up being a Touma/Anna, Accelerator/545/Mikoto and Hamazura/Dion/Takitsubo volume. Mikoto in her stupor of having the AAA hijacked yet again would end up running to the strongest person she knows (Accelerator), Hamazura just fucks around and does nothing much and Touma becomes a chair. With the main focus being on Accelerator's side.

If there is a way to block people out, she'd probably have to engage with the magical elements of the system and eat some recoil. Would definitely have been worth it vs. Coronzon, but if he told her she might've tried at other times and ended up bleeding all over the place when there was more important stuff going on.

>main focus on Accel again
God fucking dammit.

>Kakine hates Accelerator for being a villain playing at being a hero
Kakine hates being #2 back up plan.

Kakine is very self-centered and doesn't care much about others unless it's in perspective to him. It's only when Accelerator started called his villainy cheap that Kakine got baited into that bs to throw him off.

Considering Byouri was literally made out of Dark Matter I wouldn't say it takes much mental strength to (start to) take over what is identified in your schema as "your body". Accelerator is close to the bottom, he still hasn't gotten over the clone autism, he's a bit of a mess.

>Hamazura just fucks around and does nothing much
You could just say "Hamazura won't be/shouldn't be in the next volume"

>They respond poorly to adversity.
>Because mugino didn't literally stand up again after losing ITEM, her arm, her eye, a portion of her body, and basically everything
Bait harder

Attached: I was only pretending to be retarded epic.png (568x1023, 216K)

>Mugino responded well to adversity
Just because you used the buzzword first doesn't make this not bait.

>Mugino had a psychotic breakdown and went on a murderous rampage
>This shows you that she's mentally strong
You have literally no fucking idea what you're talking about.

Attached: 1547829188735.png (400x411, 113K)

Accel focused volume would be great. A character who has gotten by on fighting now having to deal with holding political power is an interesting turn of events and I want to see how he handles it.
I honestly don't care about whatever macguffin is in Touma's arm nor do I care for Anna. Neither will top Aleister and the Golden conflict.

How hard is it for him to say "So you stole my ultimate weapon but since you're on my side at the moment let me tell you how to access the emergency shutdown feature in case, and it's very likely because it already happened before, it gets hijacked, but don't use it unless absolutely necessary because it's like a russian roulette and you might die"

He still framed it as "we" can't rise out of the darkness though. Until that point his focus on Accelerator was nothing personal, after that point Kakine started trying to mess with Accelerator mentally and drag him back down to his level to prove that he was right.

Attached: NT_Index_v06_006-008.jpg (3028x1600, 1.14M)

But NT22 made a point of how she can't approach anyone but Shokuhou or Touma about it and one of them exploded into fish eggs because of her and the other one she won't be able to face out of shame.

>not reacting to having your leg bitten off by an alligator by jumping back into the river
Get a load of this guy.

Attached: Smug Tomato.jpg (900x810, 55K)

That would require Aleister to give a shit about Mikoto first. I don't think he saw Coronzon overriding the AAA coming before you say "but Touma".

>Touma becomes a chair
Again?

Attached: My Oni-chan, not yours..jpg (742x1079, 250K)

>tanned, spiky hair Touma
>pale, fluffy hair Touma
Pick one.

Why didn't she try to fight Accelerator too?

Attached: niang sage.jpg (192x329, 31K)

>Coronzon uses the same magic as Aleister
>Aleister can hijack the AAA
what a brainlet

Neph had already called dibs. And maybe she had rather low expectations for espers after she one shotted Mikoto so easily.

That's like saying that because Stiyl and Fiamma both use christian fire magic you should be able to see Stiyl hijacking Fiamma's magic coming.

Kagun explained that there was a time-limit for this to happen, so the amount of DM used was probably just a secondary catalyst, not the main cause. Actually later in another book, a more "separate" DM was harnessed for people to use the OG's interference.

If you're making the world's most twisted scientists come up with specialized deterrents for using your power when you're not even there, you're probably mentally strong.

Rather, Stiyl hijacking the Star of Bethlehem (created by Fiamma vs created by Aleister) would be a better example.

No, because Fiamma uses angel magic you tard.

>Dark Matter is literally only in existence because of Kakine
>The fact that Kakine can generally tell when there is Dark Matter somewhere, and use it himself unless you take measures to stop him from noticing it, is a sign of his mental strength
I'm pretty sure there's actually no relation at all here. This is like claiming that Acqua stealing power from Gabe, since they're both aligned with water, is proof of his mental strength.

Fiamma and Stiyl use compeltely different magic
Coronzon and Aleister use the same, magick
Its like saying that Kanzaki could hijack Acqua's magic, which guess fucking what, it literally happened

Magick is a system of magic. Just because they both use it isn't an immediate give away that Coronzon would be able to take control of anything that Aleister creates. Especially when Lola was shown to have difficulty using AC in the past.

Again, see the example of Kanzaki vs Acqua, they both use the same system of magic and Kanzaki could hack Acqua's spells

meant for

is this an improvement?

Attached: kneekoto.jpg (576x1024, 603K)

It’s not an improvement. It’s a girl.

No, hackmura cant draw Mikoto for shit because she hijacked Index spot as main heroine and he's biased

That's just false. Kakine didn't even consider killing accel until his plan A with Tweezers failed. The other user is right, things only got personal between them when Accel started to claim he was a villain when he was a hero in reality.

Actually stabbing Yomikawa wouldn't make sense if the only reason Kakine disliked Accel was because he was number 1

I don't think Neph planned to fight either. She just wanted to protect hamazura at first. Then saw potential in Accel and said this line before boosting 545.
>“He had the right idea. It was just that his methods left something to be desired. So I will show you the true answer. Perhaps you can gain an even greater power from this.”
Not sure if she knew about the new tree but between that, curing him and the Neph supporting everyone line from Kamachi himself .I think she planned to make him stronger for the purpose of fighting him.

No. Slinging a spell at someone and having it turned against you is not the same as creating a magical (and even then, it's not purely magical) item from scratch, and having someone walk up and hijack it. As far as I can recall, no one has ever done something like that. No one stole Brun's version of gungnir with magic hacking, no one decided to just neuter Knight Leader's sword and make it theirs, so it's not a particularly strange oversight for Aleister to not immediately say "someone who uses the same system as me? Time to immediately assume that every single thing at my disposal is going to get hijacked, especially the ones that other people are using and not me". The only time he had a similar reaction was with the Golden Dawn, and even then it was about the spells not the items he was grabbing.

Attached: DFC.webm (472x720, 1004K)

Can't wait to molest Aleister

>No Touma to head pat
Kuso game.

Mikoto killed Touma.

>I'm pretty sure there's actually no relation at all here. This is like claiming that Acqua stealing power from Gabe, since they're both aligned with water, is proof of his mental strength.
Kakine wasn't conscious or personally putting effort to take over during that time. His limbs were simply being supported by a third part system, that's the difference.

That's gay

Vento and the ice boats

Guys I think I caught a freckle fetish

Attached: skin conditions.png (1280x1600, 2.43M)

No, the difference is there's water all over the planet being used by different people, and Kakine is literally the origin of Dark Matter itself. If someone grabs your leg while you're asleep, and makes it move like its walking, at some point you'll start resisting, even while asleep.

is this the new preggo edit

Attached: freckles.jpg (1920x1080, 186K)

Attached: freckles kicked out of her.jpg (1920x1080, 185K)

The ice boats that specifically have a control module? Having Vento go find it and alter it so she can use it is totally the same thing as assuming that someone is going to point at the staff in your hands and make you kill someone else with it?

I mean, for all we know, Coronzon spell also did that what with the ??????????????????????s

Going on this assumption though, if the world itself doesn't allow Coronzon to speak the spell, do you think it's not fair to assume that Crowley might not have known about it beforehand?

You can, Squenix are just being little shits and not showing us Touma being molested

Attached: file.png (506x286, 292K)

Kakine couldn't feel anything in that state, his brain was given signals for DM to be created.

>"However, whatever situation he was in, he was still a valuable research subject as long as
his powers could be used."> "In fact, the Kiharas found it more convenient that he had almost
no ego and would simply use his powers when the proper electrical stimuli were given."

It's not him rejecting Byouri but his will inside the DM. This is like saying Misaka can control the sisters because they are her clones.

>scared and crying
You monster.

They couldn't really be friends even in accel idol.

>This is like saying Misaka can control the sisters because they are her clones.
No it's like saying Misaka can control the electricity they make, which she can. If you hooked her up to a machine and had her producing electricity she would sooner or later be able to learn to control it somewhat. Amusingly, this more or less happened in Railgun during the sports festival. It doesn't say much at all about the strength of his mind one way or another. What does speak to his mental strength is things like losing his physical body not seeming to affect him much, as he takes a massive change, and maintains his identity and adapts. You know, how mental strength is defined in the first place?

I don't like that it's using the anime art style either. The game reeks of low effort but I suppose it'll be worth more when NT characters start being added.

>You know, how mental strength is defined in the first place?
I think the issue is neither of you defined what you mean by mental strength, I don't think it has a common enough specific definition that you can just assume you're both talking about the same thing.

Counter magic seems to be the bread&butter of golden style magic anyway. See GD vs anyone besides crowley, and the spell crowley made hijack curses flying through the air.

What did she do?

I can at least tell you that when someone says mental strength most often they're not talking about the ability to mind control other people.

Mikoto will finally have to admit she enjoys Misaki's company after a novel of avoiding her and becoming depressed because she couldn't protect Touma!

It's in the future user. Everyone got held back a year together.

The picture shows Touma has 4 outfits, and LO had the same I think. I rather doubt winter uniforms wont be in the game either at launch or at some point. Especially iconic outfits like Accelerator's jacket and Touma's hoodie will also probably appear.

She likes Kuroko better. That’s just how it is at the end of the day.

Her mech got hijacked by the bad guy who used it to cut Touma's arm off.

>Electricity
She can't control electric fields made with her power but she can bend them just like mugino or any other electro master. Sisters can produce electricity without her support which is false for Byouri

>I'm not even misusing mental power, that's literally what Kagun describes the resistance as. What happened with Byouri was compared to an organ rejection which means it's just his will passively rejecting anyone who is Teitoku.

>“The proof is that you’re increasingly unable to get rid of the #2. You continue to
command the electric signals. However, the things created by the #2 still have his own
presence. And then, this is just like a rejection in a transplant."

Did nothing wrong.

Again, how does this have anything at all to do with Kakine's mental strength?

It was a falseflag, user.

Because Kagun calls it his presence? Someone's presence doesn't accompany their organs when they're donated to another patient. Organs fail because they're physically incompatible, this DM transplant was being rejected because of someone else's unconscious will.

pres·ence
/ˈprezəns/
noun
noun: presence
the state or fact of existing, occurring, or being present in a place or thing.

I'm not sure if Touma will try to jump ship to avoid blowing up the planet or if his unexpected autism will kick in and refuse to leave the world he fought like hell for. That is assuming the swarm doesn't just plow through WR. Then the only thing he accomplished is giving Kamisato more PTSD.

>Someone's presence doesn't accompany their organs when they're donated to another patient
You say that, but people claim they do. Are you really going to assume that this isn't the case in a science fiction/magical setting? It's described as an organ rejection. Kagun says it's because the #2 is still in the parts of the dark matter he creates, why does this have any relevance whatsoever into the question of who is mentally strong? Especially when we're talking about the guy who went off the deep end from Accelerator trash talking him, and had a part of his personality take over his body? Come off it.

>Academy City’s #3 entirely forgot something as fundamental as her control over electricity and magnetism.

>She could not send any commands to the A.A.A. Yet if she had tried, she might have been able to stop that thick rotating blade some other way.

Why didn't Mikoto use her Zappy dan powers stop Coronzon from cutting off Touma's arm?

Attached: bo.png (488x368, 163K)

Read the first line of your post

Coronzon sent a laser not a chainsaw

On top of that even Touma, the undisputed master of dodging reality breakingly fast linear shit, didn't even have time to dodge. Biri probably didn't even realize what happened until it was over.

>I don't think it has a common enough specific definition
>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mental_toughness

She's totally out of her depth

>People claim they do
are we going off science here or ? I mean I would just concede if this is an actual point. Kagun is a renowned scientist that is specialized in rejuvenating hearts so he isn't talking out of his ass.
>who is Mentally strong
Because the word presence has to do with personal will and existence.
>Trash talking/Split personality
I don't remember Kakine doing much of anything other than being salty after Accel trash talked him. Even Touma who handled Othinus' torture gets aggravated by stupid stuff. The personality takeover was due to Takitsubo, and even if it wasn't, it's all his own presence picking which personality is higher in rank so it doesn't disprove much.

I feel like we should stick to whether the Byouri stuff is indicative of strong will before diving into other circumstances, just to avoid confusion.

That literally calls it a "broad concept" in the first line

Lmao goddammit, ok I concede gg

>finally in crush's stage
>your crush finally had enough of keeping you at arm's length and allows you to join him

For fuck's sake, Misaka.

That was from when Crowley took over the first time she was shocked from hijacks being possible. But by the third time she should have remembered that shit. Is she really leaning on the AAA so much that she doesn't even consider her level 5 powers.

Mikoto will "die" in NT23, but her soul will go to the Network

>Mental toughness has been equated with better understood constructs from psychology such as resilience and hardiness

Your numbers make me believe so.

We haven't seen her use her regular powers for the last few volumes actually

>Is she really leaning on the AAA so much that she doesn't even consider her level 5 powers
That's about it, yeah. That being said, it was sudden as hell and Coronzon probably has more pull than a dying Aleister that was barely holding on to consciousness.

She uses them for the LPR and Not being cooked when they fly at mach 6.

Can you summarize what happened please? haven't been following raildex for a while but anything big involving Mikoto keeps me interested.

Misaki a pile of shit

It would be much easier if you'd just said what you meant rather than pretending that your average joe knows that when you say "mental strength" you mean specifically what the wikipedia page for "mental toughness" says and by extension the specific psychological definitions of "resilience" and "hardiness".

The big bad destabilized Touma and then cut off his arm using her stolen mech. Now he's walking death.

Attached: 1555076658402.jpg (1300x678, 122K)

Not that I think about it. What keep Noukan alive when flying at high speeds? Mikoto uses her powers, dog uses ?

What's the matter? Still buttmad that Mikoto is now a pile of shit?

Mikoto became a pile of shit.

He can channel Crowley's power. That forcefield thing he used against whale-fucker was Crowley's power.

Science bullshit probably

Good boy energy.

Attached: Noukan.jpg (225x350, 30K)

Mikoto is turning into a de/m/on

Aleister keeps him alive probably

Misaka talks big but is a giant fuck up and everybody else has to clean up all the fish eggs.

is it really her fault that her mech was stolen?

Plot. Just plot.

Mikoto was so useless that Aliester, Coronzon, and even the english soldier ignored her existence focused on the AAA. She didn't even really get to fight since Crowley was controlling it. The AAA keeps getting used against her will and more often than not to hurt touma.

Why would your average joe think mental strength means the ability to telekinetically take over someone's brain??? If you ask your average joe what it means to be mentally strong they're going to say things like "copes well with adversity" "they have a strong image" "they're confident" or whatever else. Which are the sorts of things that psychology looks into in studies of resilience. Why would anyone's first thought be "Well, clearly when we try to rank how mentally strong the level 5s are, we're clearly talking about how likely it is for any of them to take over my mind if I were to replace my right hand with theirs."

Touma got pretty fucked up this volume and Mikoto's whole character development for like the past ten volumes has been about getting strong enough to help him, which she wasn't able to do this volume for the most part.

Mikoto fucked up and Touma became a walking nuke

Yes because she's a goddamn electromaster.

He used the AAA on the whale? I thought he uses some shit in his collar.

She cant control the non mechanic parts, Coronzon hijacking was entirely magic

AAA was first introduced fighting against the whale's large sphere things.

Nice try, Misaka.

Before we get into that, she'll definitely think it is her fault which is the important bit. She probably shouldn't have brought something so powerful that she doesn't understand onto the battlefield, and she was relying on it so heavily she failed to even try and use her own powers to stop it from attacking Touma.

IIRC, he uses AAA, but the forcefield that stops the water from drowning him is referred to as Crowley's power. So that same force probably protects him from heat.

I wish I was Misaka I would rapefuck Misaki all day

>Why would your average joe think mental strength means the ability to telekinetically take over someone's brain?
I haven't said that, I've made three posts on this topic which are suggesting that you should define your terms if you're going to get into a protracted argument.

>She probably shouldn't have brought something so powerful that she doesn't understand onto the battlefield,

I mean ultimately AAA has done more good than harm overall. It's been a double-edged sword alot, but if they didn't have it that'd be worse.

>Doesn't biribiri when Misaki touches her
Deep down Mikoto knows that Misaki is as physically vulnerable as a newborn. If she as much as static shocked her, Misaki might actually get a heart attack and needs to be proteccted.
So Junko's keikaku worked.

I'm going off pseudo science, because this is science fiction, so just saying that "people can't do that in real life" isn't much of an argument for why Kakine can't possibly exist inside the Dark Matter (that literally violates normal physical laws) that he created.
>Presence has to do with existence
That doesn't make his mental fortitude better or worse, it means its there. There was no implication that Byouri was losing out on anything "because her will was weak" or anything of the sort, it was only ever said to be a rejection from the fact she was using someone else's Dark Matter.
>Kakine didn't do much
Kakine immediately tried to justify his self image by affirming how Accelerator should be acting, pushing him and trying to make Accelerator take the same path he was taking. And then when he goes full Dark Matter he continues to ignore his original goal and hounds Accelerator, still salty about those comments and tries to break him.
>It was Takitsubo
Takitsubo allowed the situation to occur, the end result was still Kakine having a small part of his personality force him out of control of his own body.
>It's the same person so it doesn't count
It means that his self image isn't as strong as it should be, and he's wavering, normally someone wouldn't describe someone who is mentally strong as a person who can change that fundamentally, they have a strong self image most often.

Remidner that Mikoto has suicidal tendencies, I wonder what NT23 will do to her mind

It's not rape if she wants it. That degenerate would probably immediately climb onto Mikoto's big black bike next time she saw it.

I think the thing that pissed Mikoto the most off about Misaki is that she's so weak that Mikoto can't even hurt her because it'd be like beating up a toddler.

And I'm saying there is no other definition for the term. I shouldn't have to define the term if only one definition exists. Much like you don't define "cute" when talking about waifus or whatever, if someone wanders in and doesn't know what the word cute means it's their own fault. Only one person in this entire thread has thought the word mental strength means anything else than its usual definition.

Kissu

I agree to a certain extent, but it's clear that she's been relying on it too much.

>if they didn't have it that'd be worse.
Like what? The only time it really helped was when Crowley had the chance to hijack it to hit Mathers, but as I recall even that didn't work very well.

You guys were just arguing past each other, and it seemed to me that the issue was you weren't even talking about the same thing.

And now that she can't unload her pent up urges for violence she's redirecting it into sexual energy.

>yall

It blocked Coronzon's impact explosion as well and the chainsaw was useful for cutting Touma's arm off.

It seems so yes. But again, that's literally not my problem, when that's the usual definition of mental strength, and everyone else in the thread who was discussing the topic was discussing it in terms of characters showing resilience and standing up to adversity or otherwise managing to hold onto their self esteem.

She can use magnetism to stop the metal parts. The narration even suggested this

We only know that because of the meta narration that keeps referring to it as a demon. For all she knows it's just some weird machine with lots of power. She didn't even realize that the nosebleeds were from the AAA and Misaki convinced her it must have been her idiot ability.

I still believe Misaka and Touma were childhood friends and Misaka went to AC to go after him but forgot why she went there in the first place.

Since when are magical beams a metal object?

>For all she knows it's just some weird machine with lots of power
That she literally doesn't understand the inner workings of, which seems to have a mind of its own, and she didn't get rid of the first, or second time that it started doing things she didn't ask it to do.

She does know that there's something else going on with it that she doesn't understand.

>Kamijou "God of Pestilence" Touma
>childhood friends outside of AC

Attached: aNdBpl.jpg (600x450, 33K)

It saved Touma in NT15 and NT18. And a bunch of times during the Elements arc, if she hadn't had it there that would have fucking sucked for everyone. Also saved her dad with it.

Well she's an obsessed middle schooler. Do you expect her to just drop it and go "oh well I can't reach his stage and this is too dangerous, too bad" and give up? It's pretty much an addiction at this point.

>By the time the weapon arm moved on its own, it was too late.
It moved the arm first. She could have stopped it from aiming.

Touma and Misaka's parents first met during the sports festival. And Touya and Tabigake first met in SS2.

>Nt18
Liquid railgun is mikoto and misaki, the AAA isn't required for it.

Aiming a gun takes a lot less time than winding up and swinging a giant chainsaw. She might have been too slow to realize or even see what was even happening and then react.

>Do you expect her to just drop the machine that, without her consent, cut off the arm of the boy she's been obsessing over?
Yes????

She should just buy an AC strap on and mindbreak the cow

They needed to fly up there. Plus she used it to catch everyone when they fell.

>I'm going off pseudo science
That's not a good excuse because even DM is governed by esper rules which means that AIM fields needs to be created by the user to allow for direct control over the power. This is why when Accelerator used Kakine's own wings to stab him, they didn't naturally come off him while unconscious.
>There was no implication that Byouri was losing out anything because her will was weak

This is irrelevant because I didn't make any points on the opponents' willpower. Also yes, her own concision was fading gradually which shouldn't happen if the reactions was purely biological

"After that, you will end up destroying yourself. Your so-called physical body may not be
killed, but your spirit will be worn out.”"

Hell DM wasn't even gonna leave Byouris body, she was still gonna have that body, it's just that her personality would be reduced to nothing which shows that it has everything to do with mental sustainability

>Tried to justify his self image
How is any of this fall into a deep end? He was trying to prove a point, and he did by making Accelerator kill him. It's petty and unnecessary but it happens to so many charcaters, even mentally strong ones like Touma as I mentioned previously

>Allowed the situation to occur
So you do agree without Takitsubo, his original personality would remain dominate?

>It means that his self image isn't as strong as it should be

Not really, every human has self-improving thoughts, be it negative or positive, Beetle was only one of the many impossibilities that could have surfaced. You could make this point if the good personality thing happened organically, but it was simply forced by several factors making it not relevant to whether an unsupported Beetle could ever take over Kakine

Cutting off his arm actually saved him though. Otherwise spiky haired boy would have still been a pile of innards on the ground

The AAA told them where Touma was, it was needed, also quick movement

Not to mention, the AAA has moved on it's own plenty of times. It moves its wings to protect her from attacks on multiple occasions, so Misaka isn't automatically stopping every movement it makes that she didnt ask for (but she should)

>magnetl sense mikoto not being able to keep up with the movement of a metal arm
I simply don't believe it

Why do people read everything twice as fast when its about Mikoto?

I think it fits with her character that she hasn't dropped it, but it does makes logical sense to drop it. I don't think anyone's passing judgement on her for not rejecting the free pass to everything she's been working towards, but I think the narrative has and is going to continue treating it as a mistake and I think it's justified in doing so.

It might make sense to drop it after this volume, but before this there was no particular reason to drop it. It's only problem was the health effects it was having on her, which is the reason Misaki came in to help her compensate. We'll see how she reacts in the next volume, I think she's probably gonna at least temporarily dump it.

>LPR
I am still convinced that they only manage that combination move due to them being linked to AAA. That level of coordination is nuts.

They can coordinate like that because Mikoto lets Misaki into her head.

>That level of coordination is nuts.
Its because Mikoto opened up to Misaki and she was able use Mental out on Mikoto

It’s not as cool as when Index kissed Touma,

>AIM fields needs to be created by the user to allow for direct control over the power
So? NT6 does the whole "Does Kakine even need the organs at all" thing already. Dark Matter IS Kakine.
>Which shows it had everything to do with mental stability
Nope. Not once does Kagun imply it's because of a failing on Byouri's part. Not once is it even implied that if you just have some more guts, you can overpower Kakine and control the Dark Matter. It's just a natural progression of using Dark Matter while not being the #2. It thus says nothing about his mental fortitude.
>How does that count as falling into the deep end
How does obsessing over making someone into a villain just like yourself, so you can justify to yourself that it's not your fault you've become the way you are, count as falling into the deep end? Really? I shouldn't have to explain this to you. I'm not sure I even can.
>You agree without Takitsubo
Nope, she was a catalyst but not every catalyst if required for a chemical reaction, some just speed up a normal process.

He likes being bitten secretly so he keeps her around.

The AAA might be the only thing that lets Mikoto do anything about the fish eggs, I dont think she will drop it

Unlike in Railgun she doesn't actually have superhuman reaction time.
She'd need to notice it moving, comprehend that Coronzon is making an attack through, comprehend that that weird talking baby is talking to her, think about what the hell she means by closing ports, realize the arm is aiming at Touma, try to figure out how to shut it down like Lillith said, realize she doesn't have any idea what the fuck she meant, realize she still has magnetic powers and then stopping the arm.

How do you explain AIM stalker destroying Kakine though? If Measure Heart didn’t show up he probably would have lost by the look on his face.

That's also the reason he dumped Index the moment Othinus showed up, she has an ear biting fetish too, and she doesn't make Touma go bald over it so they can both enjoy it.

I don't think she'll use it again until she figures out how to take complete control over it. Narratively it wouldn't make sense to have her lose control over it several times in one volume and have her do nothing about it. Plus Accelerator is like a god now so it's not like her having total control over AAA would be all that stupid from a power scaling perspective.

Speak for yourself. I don’t enjoy when Othinus bites our ear homie.

Actually kind of romantic. Will the anime in ten years show that scene with Mikoto having sparkly eyes? That would be great.

3/10 made me reply MP

She still showed superhuman reaction time vs Brunhild or in NT3

Attached: level 5 games 1.jpg (1280x904, 126K)

Holy shit! Mikoto is fucking fast guys!

We don’t call her Railgun for fun.

>Brun
Mikoto was both slowing down Brun (just drop the sword you dumbass) and using the iron sand on the ground to "see" where she was moving.

>Will the anime in ten years

How do you even fucking animate anything that happens from NT9 onwards. None of it makes any visual sense at all.

The AAA is useless without Aliester, it doesn't matter if she keeps it.

I don't it'll help much without Aleister. I guess the bongs could try and rig something, but Touma might unwillingly be at the top of the food chain now.

Is it the bad writing or the magic girls?

She still needed to move as fast regardless if she knew where she was gonna move

>None of it makes any visual sense at all.
I don't think I ever had a problem visualizing anything happening in NT9, did you read it a bit too quickly?

I’m pretty sure Accel is at the top at this point. There’s literally no competition.

She was, but Brun was still make sonic booms with her movements, so she still had to react to that shit.

He’s a bad man.

>Cutting off his arm actually saved him though
First time yes but it was done by an ally while Mikoto was stuck in BSOD.
Second time not so much.

>None of it makes any visual sense at all

>The tree was not just something to ascend. It could also be descended. The power falling from a point in heaven gained color and other attributes as it descended the various pathways and it finally transformed into one of any number of substances in this world.

>What would happen if a magic user intentionally brought that down like a bolt of lightning?

>The pure energy would rush toward the target even as it rapidly transformed into physical matter. Much like a self-forging warhead that could easily pierce tank armor using the metal arrowheads formed by its own explosion.

I dunno user lets just make it a flaming sword like Stiyl uses.

Attached: 1532751497484.jpg (1000x1032, 390K)

He almost died trying to get Neph to apologise.

Neph quite literally went lust crazy once he was back to his full potential and said he was a 'perfect match' for her. Pretty cute. Seems like she gets off to opponents who can tank her shit and deal it back at the same time.

>You need to move as fast as the thing you're dodging if you know where it's going to go

Attached: 1552408569684.jpg (580x389, 45K)

Who will teach Mikoto magick?

Maybe he’ll accomplish what Aleister couldn’t but I’ll be patient and see for myself.

The mechanical parts still give her a massive boost and she could try and find another magical battery for it.

Accel is at that point where he can basically fuck anybody up in the series with his eyes closed after the first ten minutes when he figures them out.

Noukan

Will will put her on the line with 545 through the Network

Anna is likely stronger.

Also did Unlucky make a new chart yet?

Not a single part of that describes how it actually looks.

Noukan doesnt knows shit though, he even said so himself this volume

Yeah, if the magic recoil wasn't a thing he probably could've kept tossing NETWORK vectors until he hit her and it would've been game-over for her. Dunno if she can do anything against him with the full Clonoth though since all it takes for him to use it is a thought.

>NT6
The Byouri thing was NT4, and Yuuitsu implied that he developed it while alive so no, intentions are needed for DM to behave the way you're saying it does.

If DM is kakine, then this is simple. Kakine is mentally strong because every DM particle holds his will, better now?

>Falling on Byouri's part
No one is saying this tho. Byouri doesn't have to be mentally weak for Kakine to be mentally strong. Her conscious is what was fading not her DM capabilities. Kagun literally uses the word spirit and you're here looking for implications? Someone's spirit is nothing other than their will power, or soul if you're spiritual. If her spirit is weakening due to another person's, then how is it not mental related?

>How does obsessing over making someone into a villain just like yourself, so you can justify to yourself that it's not your fault you've become the way you are, count as falling into the deep end?

They were in a battle and it was a relevant subject of matter considering even Accelerator himself enraged it. It's not like Kakine sought Accel out with the intention of turning him into a villain, it was just part of their mental battle, just as Touma obsesses over destroying someone's illusions before punching them.

Also a quick side note but Kakine never actually blamed anyone for his actions. Not once did he mention anything tragic happening to him. The number 1 comment was only an answer to Accelerator's question regarding his goal, it's an exaggeration to describe it as "obsession"

>Nope, she was a catalyst but not every catalyst if required for a chemical reaction, some just speed up a normal process.

You're gonna need to prove that. The separation is why it even happened. It's not a catalyst, it's literally a necessary factor for things to go this way.

I think he was talking about re-organising the whole thing it because there wasn't enough space

Why is Misaki so smug? is it the super model looks? The super genius intellect? The millions on her bank accounts? Her telepathic abilities? Or is it simply the reasurrance of being one of the handful of staight girls in Tokiwadai?

>tfw we will get to see mommy Mina shenans with Accel and Qliphah together with Lilith

Cute

>I’m pretty sure Accel is at the top at this point
user it almost killed him to fight neph who wasn't even described to have any damage at the end despite his ability to hurt gods. Anna didn't a give fuck and only spared him to conserve energy. Last but probably not least Aliester crossed the abyss too, is inside an immortal demon body, is a better magician and doesn't need to worry about magic recoil. Accel is strong but I would not put him top of the food chain. Also lets not forget Aliester already said IB and Kamijou is a bigger problem than Anna.

Misamisa is over user, NT22 was the end of it. Mikothinus is up next. Misaki will still appear sometimes in railgun and a lot in astral buddy though. So don't miss her too much in Index.

Etzali will go to London because he saw her on TV and teach her the basics of magic to her, then Mikoto will figure out the rest and the entirety of magick on her own using her Level 5-digits IQ

Probably the same on both sides if either lands a real hit. Or if Neph blasts the planet. Also Anna didn't give a flying fuck about the third tree but was excited as hell about Touma exploding. Whatever's going on with him is probably way crazier.

>lowering all your walls and laying all of your mind bare for her and trusting her with all your deepest secrets and insecurities and that she won't mess with or manipulate your memories even though she could
Literally more intimate than sex.

He can at least tell her what the AAA even is.

Well he couldn't really get Neph to apologize if her body literally got gimped. It's likely they tuzzled and she kept evading any gimp-spears he sent so it ended up being an old-fashion tuzzle. She still got BTFO but it only drawed because either of them were gonna die. One from getting his full on once and one from magic recoil. Realistically she probably decided 'Yeah I had fun' and ended it since it wouldn't end without either one dying. That being said I don't think she stands a chance against 'el clonoth' Accel.

>look on his face.
animeonly confirmed

Well I don't think she could land a real hit on Accel but it'd be too dangerous to get close to him. Even when she tackled him and messed with his vectors due to his energy, he didn't seem affected by getting kicked in the face. I really think it just boiled down to "I don't wanna get hit by that but I don't want him to die from trying to hit me, so I'll draw'.

>replying to MP

*due to her energy
Fuck me

>This was in NT4
So? How is that relevant in any way?
>If he is DM that means he's strong because it holds his will
What on earth does that have to do with literally anything? Are you just pulling random shit and trying to find ways to wank Kakine with it at the end of the sentence? The ONLY thing that this would mean is it's another point in favor for DM being able to do bullshit things. Much like how he uses DM to subsume objects and turn them into Dark Matter, people using Dark Matter get caught up in it and turned into Kakine. That has NOTHING to do with Kakine's mental fortitude.
>No one is saying this
Exactly. Which means, Kagun is saying that Byouri's mental fortitude is entirely irrelevant to the fact she's getting consumed by the dark matter. You can take this two ways, either it says nothing about Kakine's mental fortitude at all, and it's just a fact of dark matter bullshit, OR you can take the crazy headcanon that Kagun is saying Kakine has literally THE most powerful ego on the ENTIRE PLANET and it's not worth mentioning that someone stronger could resist longer, because it'll happen eventually regardless. Personally, I'm going with the not totally insane conclusion. You do you though.
>It's not like Kakine sought him out
This is literally what happened in NT5. Try again.
>You need to prove that
No, I don't. You do however need to read more since you seem to have fundamental misunderstandings on several basic pieces of vocabulary.

>is totally attracted to Saten but won’t admit it

I was talking about her water shit that he furiously tried to avoid.

She couldn't use her tear magic either because sprinklers.

>Mikothinus is up next.
>Implying Othinus would give half a shit about Mikoto and not just leave to find her human immediately.

Well he didn't know shit about the properties of it but I doubt it would've mattered by the time he crossed the abyss and gained bullshit Tarot knowledge and Abyss Knowledge but I see what you mean.

Othinus needs someone to take her places.

She has a hawk.

She actually couldn't use it in the end at all because of 'THE BOND OF FRIENDSHIP' quite literally which I thought was funny. How would a bond of trust stop her from creating empathy shit magic and boosting? Oh well.

What with the assumption the Accel got another power boost from the embedding? He didn't do anything after embedding the tree. It was the act itself that exorcised Coronzon.

That was because he was using magic against her.

Read the fight a little slower this time

It wasn't the act itself. He used the Clonoth's macro and forced it onto her micro, which is what shook the world to begin with and applied a metaphysical soul fuck to her. He literally forced the properties of the tree onto her to get her to fuck off out of her immortal body.

>Birbs

>blink

Bros I gotta admit, I kind of fucking love this series and I can't wait for the next volume.

It makes sense that the boost doesn't work because the network is helping to manage the power influx. Don't know why she didn't try other tear tactics but even then she would still need to hide her face from the sprinklers and still be a position for accel/545 to see it.

>blink

Attached: What.jpg (344x469, 53K)

No, using magic harmed him not the tree itself as he suffered no recoil using the tree afterwards when dealing with Coronzon.

I haven’t read this in years, since volume 13 I think? Anyways just here to tell you 10032 will always be best girl.

Was it? I thought it was because their bond meant no empathy shit or outside influence would effect them because of their strengthen contract, but that makes sense.

>By adding a large tree to the cosmos and thoroughly shaking the world out to the ends of the galaxy, he was applying a physical blow to a single person’s flesh and blood.
Accel adding the tree is what caused the effect. He directed it at her.

>Clonefag
Oh no.

Attached: D1tFCKzU4AEZwZT.jpg (768x949, 101K)

Read the whole fight user. Specifically the privileges that 545 says she is giving to Accelerator.

>So this thing is pretty much useless without Aleister, which by the way, he is dead
Maybe if Mina was there she'd say something more useful

>Last but probably not least Aliester crossed the abyss too, is inside an immortal demon body, is a better magician and doesn't need to worry about magic recoil
It's amazing how much power Aleister probably just gained and the first thing he does aside from the entirely necessary groping was to tell the demon, "well, you fucked us." This is going to be a ride.

Attached: 1553454847088.jpg (1200x849, 137K)

Not even best clone.

>as he suffered no recoil using the tree afterwards
>The surface blood flow did not matter.

>He had cast off the pain of this world long ago.
He ignored it but it was still happening.

10032 is the source of "team Kamijou" for the network.
545 is not her competition, Accel is.

Attached: 10032 with high ground advantage.jpg (299x169, 11K)

That's what will's explanation sounds like to me
>If that brown hag wants to amplify your power to send it into that criminal, then how about we do something a little more interesting /escape? This isn’t going to be an uncontrolled rampage /return. We’ll put it in order and produce the optimal power for giving that criminal a helping hand /return! Do not underestimate the calculation power of the Misakas /return! This light breeze isn’t even close to what we would call a storm /return!!”
She makes it seem like they are re-purposing the power Neph gave them

>WILL gave him control over the Clonoth and allows him to use its influence on the universe to force metaphysics shit via WILL and Qliphah dealing with the calculations
>"He used the macro as a way of moving the micro."
He was controlling the Clonoth's macro, after it was embedded in the world. Why would the act of a shaking a world force an astral projection? There's clearly metaphysics in envolved. If he was using the shaking from the cosmos it'd just explode her body, not send her soul out.

>If he was using the shaking from the cosmos it'd just explode her body, not send her soul out.
Says who? It's literally compared to a holistic esper user, large scale change for small effect.

>"I am a genius!"
>"OH NO!"

Full calculation power of the Misakas must be pretty high I guess. Since Accel taking a little bit from each Misaka is enough for 50% of what he used to have.

I would say he's near the top but not quite. We still don't know anything about the Clonoth as he only used it once to force Coronzon out of her avatar.

The Clonoth might give him access to many conceptional powers and possibly control over the metaphysical plane itself which would make him extremely powerful.

But I feel that if he can do something about magic recoil that would put him at the top as his options then would be endless. He has all this magical knowledge now which should even surpass that of a Magic God but he can't really used it as he suffers from the recoil.

If I hit you with a force that's physically shaking something and add it to you, it won't knock your soul out. If I take the macro of a metaphysical tree and force that on you, chances on some weird shit is gonna happen. It's not so much 'large scale chance' as it is taking a power embedded in a world and directing it on an individual.

>"I am a genius!"
>"Yes I am, kufufufufu."
She knew exactly what she was doing, she straight up tells him to apply this power to his real target.
Neph sugoi.
>"I am a genius!"
>"OH NO!"
This was Dumbzone when she cut the arm off.

Attached: 1539570964363.png (480x460, 281K)

>Not relevant
It's relevant because you can't speak on a specific scene where Kakine was just a brain and relate it to another where hasn't shown the ability to allow DM to act independently

>That has nothing to do with Kakine
It's his own power that he developed from his own personal reality, applying his own will to every particle isn't a passive trait for dark matter unless you believe it was that way since day 1. Also Byouri wasn't going to be turned into DM, Kagun clearly says that she's gonna fade out mentally not physically. Read again please.

>It's just the fact that Dark Matter is bullshit
It facilitates what's already there within Kakine. DM on it's own wouldn't have an artificial will or ill intention to consume people mentally, it's Kakines ego makes it so it's hard for anyone to use but him. We know this because
1-Kagun confirms that the reaction is not entirely biological and that the rejection is happen to her spirit

2-Kakine, as only a brain and limbs, couldn't produce conscious thoughts on his own as prove by both Accelerator and the Kihara scientists who were applying the electrical signal

3-Spirit, presence, ego and mental fade out were all words that have been used to describe the process, therefore saying that Kakine is mentally strong isn't insane because these words are all part of human will. You know, "I think therefore I'm"

>Try again
You mentioned in your post that Kakine wanted to prove that Accelerator was a villain, that happened in OT15 not Nt5. In Nt5 the goal was bypass reflection and draw out black wings. Yet again, you mix up two completely different scenarios.

>last bit
You're frustrated, I don't think this is relevant unless we want to exchange insults. Please provide evidence for your posts or at least elaborate on them.

What if Accel gets access to the calculation from the network of different possibilities?

Yeah, there's no telling what the tree of Clonoth is really supposed to actually do. The other trees have a purpose.

>It won't knock your soul out
Again, says who? You? Adding a spiritual tree into the world that doesn't actually exist right now, shakes the spiritual world, and then you direct that shaking at a person. Who are you to say that won't shake out their spirit? Do you have any sources? Or are you just guessing?

He has the potential to be at the top but without full details of the Clonoth's potential it's still vague. It's safe to say he's pretty fucking high but maybe not 'top top'. He's approaching it. I wouldn't even be surprised if he could fix his magic recoil problem eventually.

No one will help Mikoto learn magick.

>Accel inherited AC from Aleister
>Mikoto inherited the AAA(?) from Aleister

But with that logic, what's stopping him from using that tree to do spiritual shit whenever he wants? If he can do that in the first place, chances are he can do it again regardless of the 'embedded' effect. So it's likely it's not relevant at all since, in the end, the Clonoth is the source of his attack in the first place and he can likely use it to attack again. He, quite literally, 'wields the third tree'.

She figures it out on her own

>What stops him from doing it whenever?
The fact you can only plant a tree once?

It wouldn't help anyways. Accelerator can use magic because his vector control ability is broad enough that he can sorta kinda protect himself from the recoil. Mikoto can't do that.

Now she can hypothetically use AAA like it's supposed to be used and have someone else channel magic into it. I don't know who she could get for that though. Index maybe if Index could do magic by herself.

>Said tree is a metaphysical concept that he can control
He already used the network and put them into vector-attacks against Neph. Again user, what's stopping him from using the Clonoth to attack with metaphysical shit?

>logic with magic
He also only has one Clonoth and the components for that were not created by him. He would need another network and demon to pull it off.

I'm going to have to agree with the other user in saying that he can only embed the tree into the universe once. He can definitely do other stuff using it, which I think is what you are arguing(?), but that specific attack is probably not happening again.

I'm arguing whether he can use it to attack in general with it or not, which he's shown he can against Neph even before the tree itself is embedded.

>It's not relevant because I've never heard of hindsight
Kakine was shown not much later to maybe not need the organs at all, and to live inside his dark matter essentially. The fact that NT4 happened literally the day before NT5 doesn't really say much about you being able to sweep that under the carpet.
>Kakine having his will in his dark matter isn't a passive trait
Source?
>Byouri isn't turning into DM
Never said she would. Read again please.
>DM on its own has no will
Source?
>It's his ego
Source?
>It's not biological so it's not due to DM
Nope.
>Kakine can't produce thoughts so this means his DM can't exert his will passively
Nope.
>Eating away at Byouri's mental state is a comment on Kakine's mental strength
Nope. Kakine literally shows up THE DAY AFTER in AC to fuck Accelerator's day up. This isn't some event occurring 5 years in the past.
>His goal was just to draw out the wings
And how does he do that? By dragging Accelerator back down to his level, messing with him mentally, dangling Dark Matter clones in front of him, just like when he was fucking with Yomikawa to make Accelerator mad and prove he was just like him.
>You're frustrated
No shit, I'm talking to a brick wall who doesn't even know half the words he's using, I'm no saint, of course I'm getting annoyed.
>Please provide evidence
You first.

MANA.
Which was given to him by based Neph.
Accel can attempt to pull it off but this time paying full price with his own life force like a proper epser.
So nothing stops him from suicide if he wants to.
I do think that Accel can pull off small things with it but another meme class attack is out of his reach without a proper mana source. Time to call in the Jew.

Attached: 1542320876444.jpg (355x305, 45K)

Why would he call Estelle when he has a demon of the 11th sphere guiding him past the abyss? Estelle has literally nothing to offer him that 545 doesn't have.

Neph didn't contribute in anyway with the Clonoth, her power was used to return Qliphah to her optimal functions as a guide and use that mana to help Accelerator ascend the Abyss. The Clonoth was using WILL, Qliphah, and his knowledge.

There was only one Sephiroth and Qliphoth as well. What is your point here? There only needs to be one tree.

Who is Estelle?

>MANA.
user it is literally the first word in the post.

Attached: 1555521202460.jpg (1055x1200, 120K)

His point is he can't plant the tree in the universe again, shake the universe, and push people's souls out with it. Because it now already exists.

That is wrong.

No one has ever run out of mana at any point in this series.

But what's literally stopping him, as a wielder of the Tree, from using that tree for attacks? 'Because it now already exists'? Isn't that why he CAN use it? Maybe he's not hitting anyone with galaxy shaking attacks but he can still use its power for new things.

He could make up new attacks sure, like Coronzon's flaming sword type of deal perhaps, but the one he has shown us is unlikely to be a multiple time deal.

No it wasn't given to him by Neph.

As long as you're alive I don't think you can run out, since it's your life force. You're just either strong enough to cast the spell or you aren't.

You are going to have to tell me why you know that for certain.

Alright, I'll concede to that.

You can also outsource it, your life force is used to turn mana into a spell that you can use, it's the refining process that causes the recoil apparently.

Mikoto pegging Misaki when?

Since the Flaming_Sword can destroy IB then it's not a bad thing. Though Accel should be able to do much more as he should now even be higher than Coronzon.

Literally who is that?
Are you a Worstfag?

But can we talk about the fact that Touma's eggs shoots fucking LAZERBEAMS?

I doubt it's a one time thing otherwise the whole holistic esper and Accel being someone who uses the macro to the micro wouldn't have been needed in the text.

Pretty sure Accel is basically on the same level, not higher, plus his tree is a sapling, and he takes magic recoil. Overall he's not really on the same level, he just has a few of the same tricks.

plow the cow

Attached: 1469622809950.jpg (781x534, 179K)

No but Worst is better than 10032.

Attached: 1536429405834.jpg (724x1024, 154K)

Accelerator's new girlfriend who NTR'd Last Order and is given the WILL of the network's permission to make him happy.

Attached: D2ah01yU8AEtf-I.jpg (768x697, 122K)

At least his range problem is fixed. Now he just needs to not kill everyone and he's golden.

Why would the holistic esper thing not be a one time thing? We STILL haven't seen the flower girl Kakine made since it happened. If anything it's just more hints at a gemstone/holistic esper arc in the future than it is saying Accelerator can spam it.

Dolly is the best clone.

I think what user means is Accelerator went beyond the Keter of the Trees which Coronzon was bound too, so he should have the more freedom of attacks and is probably a lot more crafty than someone who can only move up and down it. Hence the Ein Sof discussion a few threads back. And not to mention that unlike Coronzon, he CAN grimp Magic Gods if they try to tank a hit.

Dolly needs an spinoff

Wrong
How the fuck did this happen?
Is that the girl’s name?

That's actually a good point now that Holisticism seems to be brought up again. Part 3 with Accelerator part of a Gemstone arc soon?

Sorry buddy but Will > Worst > Dolly > 10032.

The tree might only be a sapping but it does sit above the Sephiroth and Qliphoth. Accel also across the abyss and reached keter with help from Qliphah and WILL. On top of that he actually controls the Clonoth itself while Coronzon while she was able to freely go up and down the Qliphoth and Sephiroth, didn't have control. only of the abyss and who was allowed through.

No, Dolly is another clone.

They were fighting a exhibistionist that could destroy the world.

Attached: CuteDevelopment.png (1607x628, 73K)

>exhibistionist that could destroy the world.
That's a pretty long list user

Attached: 1423105330993.jpg (744x1052, 248K)

Yeah, when you out it like that it's pretty much the most intimate thing two Raildex characters have ever gotten, and it's not even nonsensical forced bullshit like muh understander memes. Wouldn't even feel out of place to call it romantic even if it was for the sake of someone else.If MisaMisa's arc doesn't end with the two of them at least admitting or at least implicitly acknowledging they're best friends despite everything, then I don't even know what to think of Kamachi's skill as a writer.

Why would it be?

Because planting a tree in the spiritual world that represents neither good nor evil but humanity doesn't scream "you can probably do this whenever" to most people.

>Kakine was shown not much later to maybe not need the organs at all
My original example was about OT15 Kakine, not nt4. NT6 Kakine is fundamentally different than a brain and bunch of limbs, even if it was one day after. He might be able to initiate DM without organs, but his fridge person is essentially brain dead and needs constant signals

>Source?
He's not a gemstone

>Never said this
Yes you did
" the fact she's getting consumed by the dark matter."

Byouri was already a DM creature, you saying that she would get consumed makes non sense if it isn't mentally.

>Source?
It didn't show any effort in saving Kakine from Accelerator using them to stab him. Nor is Kakine a gemstone for his ability to naturally exert such new quality (according to Kakine himself in NT6).

>Nope
why?

>The day after
Except it is because there's a difference between a conscious kakine and a brain with limbs. Byouri's mental fatigue is only a proof of the issue being about spirit, Kakine's mental strength on the other hand is proven by the fact that his will exists even if his brain is inactive and artificially operated. Kagun says it's presence and if Kakine is gradually becoming present, then so is his will.

>And how does he do that?
That doesn't matter because the intention is what we're discussing. OT15 he wanted to prove a point, in NT5 it was about defeating him more than anything. He himself says this, there's no room for other interpretations Kakine can only obsessed like you said if he is indeed still planning on proving the same point, which he isn't

>Brick Wall
lol I'd rather we keep this civilized tho. You displayed several symptoms of autism, I could have insulted you for that.

>You first
Well you claimed that Beetle would have taken over Kakine eventually, I haven't personally said anything other than that Beetle would just be a construct if Takitsubo didn't exist. The proof I need is for that theory which you used as a counter argument.

Accelerator controls the entire Tree so I doubt it's a 'one-time thing'. If others can spam it, he can too, especially since he's outsourcing in the first place and not directly refining it.

How often do you reckon Dolly, Mitori and Misaki indulge into slippery wet and sparky threesomes?

Are you really going to tell me that Tree, which before he named it, he could use to attack, is not gonna have anymore uses? Really? That sounds kinda dumb user. Of course he's not throwing it out of his ass whenever since it requires WILL's help but the idea that 'he can only use its power once' doesn't make sense when he was already channeling it against Neph.

I dunno about Misaki but Dolly and Mitori go at it every night.

You can't plant a new tree into the world more than once user. Once you've planted it, it's just there.

>Dolly
Why should I give a shit? She's a literal who who adds nothing to the verse.

Yeah? And? He can use the Tree that's there to attack with it. He's the 'transcendant being that has control over the third tree'. Literally why can't he use it to attack? You're taking it too literally and using the tree analogy to loop the discussion without adding anything to it. Why would Kamachi feel the need to say 'he has control over the third tree' if it has no further uses?

How 'dark' is Index? Like, I know AC has teen slave trading, but how far down does it reach?

Biribiri’s mom>10032>biribiri>>>everyone else
This shit has gotten out of hand hasn’t it?

Deep darkness.

Attached: NT_Index_v09_001.jpg (1120x1600, 279K)

No I mean why would using the macro on the micro be a one time thing for Accel?

Neither of us know anything about the tree yet and what it means, so what Accel can do is completely unknown. The only thing I am sure of is that he should be able to at least do what Coronzon can do. So being beyond aeons etc. .

>original above any clone
No way fag.

The only relevant clone right now is LO anyway.

Child mutilation and gutting people and using their organs to make furniture is pretty cool.

>Has gotten out of hand
It's been out of hand since OT2.

Did you ever want to read about someone rotting in hummus?

Honestly I’m not watching from episode 11 anymore. The previews for the next couple look like they’re all dealing with the magic princess girls from England and this arc is so boring I LITERALLY am only making it through one episode every month or so. I don’t care anymore. I’m skipping to episode 17 because it
Looks like an Accel episode.

Is railgun still best girl? What happened since the Olithus arc?

You’re the fag
Original > any clone

True. They ever figure out what the fuck the dragon in touma’s arm was from that fight with the alchemist or whatever?

>Dolly

>lets kill this entire classroom of children just to do some research

We even got a group that are literally the deepest darkness

>NT6 Kakine is fundamentally different from a brain with some limbs
No actually he isnt, because NT6 Kakine is quite literally just a pile of organs floating around in Dark Matter.
>Not a gemstone
Gemstones aren't implied to have their will contained inside their powers either, that's not a source. Try again.
>You did
>Doesn't quote it
Hmm, almost like I didn't say that or something. Weird. Look I'll even quote it for you
>Much like how he uses DM to subsume objects and turn them into Dark Matter, people using Dark Matter get caught up in it and turned into Kakine.
Almost like I didn't say what you claim I did. Weird.
>DM getting reflected into Kakine is proof it has no will in it
Nope.
>Nor is he a gemstone
Again, Gemstones are never said to have this quality.
>Why?
Because A =! B doesn't mean that A = C. Do you really think that the only level Dark Matter can ever possibly operate on is biological? There's literally no reason to believe this.
>There's a difference
Nope. Nor do you know Kakine is even still brain dead in NT4, considering literally the next day he's up and about.
>His will existing without his brain is proof his mental strength is big
Nope.
>Kagun says it's present
Congrats. Doesn't mean anything about how strong it is.
>Doesn't matter
Because it doesn't fit your narrative?
>He himself says this
Because characters can't lie? Because you should believe a character when they try to hid their weaknesses?
>There's no room for other interpretations
Nope.
>You displayed autism
>I wont say what tho
Cool
>I haven't personally claimed anything
Horseshit. Your entire argument is nothing but assumptions.

Kind of. It's a long story user, but there's eggs in his arm right now and a possible god too.

No and read it yourself.

>Genocide
>Rape
>Mind break
>Gore
>Aleister and his fan fictions

Attached: 1549223617152.jpg (640x720, 36K)

>You're using the tree analogy
No, I'm looking at the fact that Coronzon was talking about the tree being planted in the world would cause greater changes than a spell like angel fall would. Which was then used in a holistic manner, of a large scale change affecting a small target, to attack Coronzon. I'm not leaning on any analogy at all, this is purely the fact that having a third tree that is neither good or evil, but "humanity" is already a stretch, and making a 4th and 5th tree would just be weird.

Because it's very unlikely that Accelerator will be able to make a new tree. And the tree's nature itself isn't to be used in a holistic way, that was just him taking advantage of the time it was created.

>eggs in his arm
Well I didn’t see that coming
>possible god too
Honestly less surprising than the eggs. I miss the days when Touma just ran around punching lolis because EQUALITY. It’s what turned me onto the series in the first place.

Who fucking knows, man. We just know whatever is inside of him wants to kill everything and is more than equipped to do so.

Attached: 1552493181425.jpg (1280x1707, 248K)

Othinus sucks and the resolution to her arc was literally the dumbest shit ever. After that Kamachi at least had the decency to make Shitinus fade into irrelevance. Thankfully, based Mathers and Aleister were there to pick up the magic side's slack.

>After that Kamachi at least had the decency to make Shitinus fade into irrelevance
If you keep saying it maybe one day it will come true.

>After that Kamachi at least had the decency to make Shitinus fade into irrelevance.
You wish.

Misaki prefers to let them have their time together while providing extra security.

Attached: Y2.jpg (1080x1551, 822K)

>Nor do you know Kakine is even still brain dead in NT4
This really. If anything, NT4 having Kakine take over Byouri was probably just meant to be foreshadowing for NT5 showing that he was waking up.

>being a glorified pokedex passes as relevance according to Othinusfags now
Yeah no, you're delusional.

I wish my pokedex was that morally supportive. It just tells me what I lack.

>Having a third tree that's neither good or evil is a stretch
Oh, so you're operating on your own bias instead then. Have a good day.

>If I downplay it enough, maybe I can convince people that solving the current crisis in every volume isn't being relevant
>I'll also just totally ignore the character driven sections of the novels, because those don't matter

Misaki has a harem to manage besides those two, so she can't bang 'em all the time. I'm just saying Dolly really wants the three of them to get along in bed as often as they can.

What’s the point of making her another index?

What are the 4th and 5th trees going to be then user? Apparently you're working on entirely objective terms, so you're already well aware of what's happening next, right? You aren't just looking for an excuse to duck out and keep your honor on an anonymous image board, right?

You literally don't know 'the nature' of what it is though as we have no idea what the fuck it does, but text clearly STATES that he has control over it, not only the act of embedding it. You're ignoring plain and simple text to fit your narrative. You're just arguing off assumptions right now until we know exactly what the fuck he can do with it.

Which pokedex are we talking about here?

I'm not arguing with a person who's throwing bias into an argument about the facts of the matter.

>You're ignoring plain and simple text to fit your narrative.
Not... not really? Having control over it doesn't mean he's going to be able to replant it.

>solving the current crisis in every volume isn't being relevant
Now you're just making shit up. Last couple of volumes had Aleister, Touma and Accel "solving" the current crisis. Moral support is a literal meme, especially because every time someone uses that card they conveneintly forhget how many people play the exact same role every novel for Touma.

I wasn't talking about replanting it, I'm talking about using what's already there to do cool metaphysics shit.

Ah, so it was indeed an excuse to duck out. Cool.

>is railgun still best girl
always

See it as you want, I'm not wasting my time with a brick wall. Agree to disagree, and goodbye.

Planting it is what allowed him to do the macro to micro shit. That's very clearly a one time thing. "Other metaphysical shit" is unknown. The only basis we have for that is the stuff Coronzon was pulling, which wasn't macro to micro.

>Which wasn't Macro-to-micro
That's...what Flaming Magick sword was though. She was literally putting a universal force onto an individual object, hence its comparison to being on the same level if not higher than Gungnir. It's why the entire planet didn't explode from bypassing IB.

*conveniently forget
I bet you would make some bullshit excuse if I told you misamisa did the exact same thing some volumes ago and why it's totally different, even though they didn't solve shit either but still played "moral support". Your reasoning is typical shipper hogwash.

>After that Kamachi at least had the decency to make Shitinus fade into irrelevance.
Kek.
>This was her face as a god of war, not a god of magic or god of deception.
>“Did you think you were saving people because your right hand had a special power? It was the opposite. Imagine Breaker was just one of the cards in your deck. So don’t lose sight of the truth. Losing your trump card changes the options available to you, but the path you ultimately take will be the same. Do not forget what you hope to accomplish and what you have set as your goal. Do that and you can still be Kamijou Touma.”
>“Do not worry. You have another trump card right here. As a god with three roles, I can tell you this from my role of war god: I will provide everything you lack, so just do whatever it is you want to do.”
>Are you kidding me, human? If this kills you, I will bind your soul to mine as my property!!”
>“Find your own understander. This human is mine and there is no room for you here. "

Attached: 1554704363320.jpg (373x358, 37K)

Reminder that Touma x Othinus is an asspull.

Magick sword wasn't macro to micro. It was passing one object through multiple worlds to give it different properties. It didn't have the force of a universe behind it, the ground was a small crater, not a hole punched through the entire earth.

It was channeling universal deities to begin with, and you conveniently ignored the comparison to Gungnir which helped house Magic God power and even could even wield phases to attack.

Othinus was instrumental in solving the issues in NT12, NT18, and NT20. She was a large part of the conflict in NT13 (by HP's butthurt) and NT14-16. She has been used to explore Touma's character throughout, but most notably in NT14, NT15, 20 and 22.

But sure, "she's irrelevant" why not?
>Other characters all give moral support
Extremely minor in comparison. >Misamisa
Did all of what? Yell his name at him? When did MisaMisa do anything close to the level of NT14 and affirm Touma's identity of how he fights to save people?

Reminder that Touma x Othinus is an eyepull.

>muh moral support meme
>from a forced and morally bankrupt "ship" that has zero chances of happening, no less
>still did jackshit except dngle from his shoulder after popping that bullshit peptalk anyway
Yeah, pretty irrelevant still. Hopefully she'll die for good next time Kamachi asspulls a way for her to regain her powers.

>people still think Index is a romance series

Attached: 1507554653538.png (819x1342, 756K)

>Implying the writing itself isn't romance for the soul

Attached: BetweenLikeandDislike.jpg (460x290, 8K)

>It was channeling universal deities
Mate, just because Coronozon said "Nuit is in my hand" doesn't mean Nuit is LITERALLY in her hand. Did you also think that Mjolnir was LITERALLY in Thor's hand when he used the arc blades? Or that the OG Thor was in the magician when he said that he held the world in the palm of his hand? "dude, what is symbolism anyways?"

Combining is the romance of man.

>3 characters main motivation is/was love
Yeah, i dont know why either

>"This was the ultimate attack that rivaled a Magic God’s lance and had utterly destroyed a certain boy despite the presence of Imagine Breaker."

The best type of romance

You're the only one bringing up shipping here mate

>there was Archangel Babirel who had existed since time immemorial
Christian entities confirmed older than every other Isis deity but not in terms of religion.

>Gungnir helped house power
No, Gungnir lets Othinus choose which powers she uses.
>And wields phases
It doesnt. That was Othinus destroying the phases with her attack. Gungnir's main power that is relevant (because coming back to your hand isnt really) is that it destroys symbols of human power.

>Did all of what? Yell his name at him? When did MisaMisa do anything close to the level of NT14 and affirm Touma's identity of how he fights to save people?
Because the substance of their little peptalk was exactly the same. You're important to people, what you're doing isn't meaningless, you got this, don't give up blah, blah, blah. We go though this cycle of Touma getting depressed after being apparently out of his depth almost every other novel now, and it's quite frankly getting tiresome. The characters surrounding him pretty much rotate the cheerleading now, and it's actually starting to feel very artificial.

NT 22.
Nearly all of Touma's dialogues are with Othinus.
>Yeah, pretty irrelevant still.

Attached: 1554480323344.jpg (237x200, 13K)

When Othinus threw Gungnir, Gungnir smashed the entire Omega World. Are you telling me Othinus did that herself and it wasn't caused by Gungnir to begin with?

Fusion is the thinking man's romance.

>Because nt6 is organs floating around in DM
Which one is it? Does he need the organs or does he not? Kakine could exert free will in nT6 and was actually conscious, NT4 wasn't
>That's not a source
If Kakine isn't a gemstone then his power is automatically present/generated unless he specifically makes it so it operates automatically, which would mean that he knew how to add in his will.
>I didn't say it
yah I did, look between the quotation marks

in that very quote you admit that people who use DM get turned into Kakine, if that function was purely physical then why would they turn into him specifically?
>Nope
Nope isn't enough
>Again gemstones
They are born with their powers, and If DM has its own will separate from Kakine then it spirit consumption function wasn't made by Kakine, aka natural. It's part of his personal reality, it can't have its own will
>Because A =! B
If it isn't biological; consumption, then it's mental consumption. What you said is the opposite of what I'm arguing. Byouri growing weaker is a sign that DM can fuck with people's spirit, and now unless you're saying that function was naturally present before Kakine invented it then it still applies
>Nor do you know
No I know, the Kiharas say they apply signals to his brain for it to work.
>Nope
Yes
>Doesn't mean anything
It does mean that his will is also there, if Kakine exists then there's no reason for only certain parts of him to be there
>Because it doesn't fit your narrative?
No because the method is irrelevant to whether his intentions was to win or prove the point, which is only important because you say Kakine is obsessed with something that isn't there
>hide his weakness
He has no reason to hide it, he already explained it thoroughly in OT15.
>Nope
there really isn't
>Horeshit
I'm really using statements from the Kiharas and the man himself, you're yet to provide anything other than scenes mixup

>there was Archangel Gabriel who had existed since time immemorial
Christian entities confirmed older than Isis deities but not in terms of religion.

Gungnir itself isn't that powerful. IB stopped it just fine.

What is with Othinus and her ability to make fags like this seethe with her very existence?

When it's thrown it annihilates all phases, it's pretty explicit in text.

>It annihilates all phases
False. We have never seen the pure world.

IB is not reliable when determining how strong something is when it's never been infallible. Only Aiwass had ever overloaded it's negation.

>"As the lance was fired with tremendous force, the “happy world” was smashed to pieces as if space itself was being torn apart. As a fragment of the world approached with the force of a raging wave, it took on the shape of a giant lance. The walls of all the phases were crushed, transformed into a swirl of deadly weapons resembling sharp shards of glass, and approached their pitiful target as if to swallow him whole."

Yes? Othinus ended every other phase before Omega, why is this a surprise?

>Othinus is irrelavant
>Touma literally only speaks her in NT22

Every phase but the pure world since MGs can't interact with it. Is it even accurate to call the pure world a phase when it's been there from the beginning?

I think he had like two lines with Misaka as well as the talk with Aleister about not sacrificing Lillith.

He has like one line with Misaki, and a couple to Mikoto and Coronzon

IB rapes Coronzon once she is out of her meat-bag.
Divine Justice™ is very stronk and mulitpurpose but is within the magic class.
Coronzons Flaming stick is also very strong but is litteraly a "single point fuck you nuke" and is within the Magick class.
This is the differenece.

Attached: 1541969604224.jpg (600x800, 47K)

I'm saying that Gungnir isn't exactly just some random stick she has for no reason and literally used it to smash through all her phases and form it into one attack.

The pokedex appears almost every episode too but it doesn't do anything by itself except being a conveneint tool in the main character's poket to explain certain details about a character/plotpoint to the audience. Sounds familiar? If we go by what's actually relevant to the story, the few lines Touma exchanged with Coronzon and Aleister were far more important than whatever sappy bullshit Othinus was spouting.

I’m on episode 18 with Lessar and no wonder she’s one of the most liked girls in the LN community. She’s a total slut and asks to be molested and to have sex with the MC at any possible chance. She’s literally the complete opposite of Saten. This is actually sad watching her.

Also Aleister's speech like pointed out

>Every phase but the pure world
Again. No. That is not what happened. Did you even read NT9? Othinus was literally agonizing over whether or not to pile on new changes or erase the old phases. There's literally no chance she threw out EVERY phase just to attack Touma while debating that, she'd literally never find her home again.

So what you're telling me is, we need to go to the Unexplored Class?

The fuck.
Am I finally retarded or this is just a regular stroke?

>Doesn't do anything except this crucial thing that helps the show work

We have a lot of ESLs, please forgive them for trying to jump into conversations all the time.

Already there.

Attached: BOO HOO RED GOO.jpg (500x375, 148K)

I was going to argue but you’re actually right about this one for once.

It's not a random stick no. It helps her keep her powers in check, but it itself isn't some universal tier attack. That's more Othinus than anything.

>The walls of all the phases
Did YOU read NT9? You have an omniscient narrator spelling it out for you.

user her throwing it is able to destroy her bullshit phases and turn it into an attack. If Flaming Sword is said to be 'compared' to that, then it's technically a universal single-target nuke.

That was me replying to my own post.
It was painful.

Attached: 1553494053378.jpg (900x900, 109K)

>The happy world was SMASHED TO PIECES
Did you even read what I posted? How much more literal do you have to go with this shit? Especially after she did that, they went back to the blank-slate void.
>Everything was ripped up. The black labyrinth, which had used up all of its possibilities, showed itself.

>Which is it?
We don't know, because the narration itself literally asks it in the form of a question.
>NT4 wasn't
Assumption
>If Kakine isn't a gemstone then...
Assumption
>Yah look at the quote that doesn't show you saying what I claim
No thanks
>turn into Kakine means it has to be on the physical level
Nope.
>If DM has a will that means it's a gemstone power
Literally what the fuck are you on about.
>I know
You dont. You think you do.
>I'm misrepresenting statements
I know.

>crucial
Except it's not. Most of what Othinus/Index/the pokedex says is either useless trivia or things a more mature audince could simply deduce from the context. Even when what they say actually turns out to be important, it's still a passive role because it depends on someone else actually using the information to do something. This is why I'll always regard characters that do something as more relevant on a narrative basis than characters that just say things.

This has got to be one of the most awkward, unrealistic and cheap animation sequences I’ve ever seen in my life and I’ve watched Soul Eater not. They really outdid themselves on this one..

Is Raifu white haired, blonde or pink haired?

no one cares mobilebitch

But did you know that Saten literally lets dogs fuck her in the streets?

>The pokedex just says things you could deduce
It's used to introduce every new thing that shows up on screen and help people understand what they are. It's an important role, and without it the show would be a bit of a clusterfuck.
>even when it's important it doesnt count because I say so
Cool.

And Index too!

That’s true

You got me there..

At the very least, this thread had a lot of discussion.

Maybe if you had actually watched the series as it was airing people might give a shit about you blogging your way through the show. Doubtful, but you'd have a better chance than now.

Wow, I never thought of that

Someone post a waifu chart now because I wanna roll my WIFE

I like that.

It's just MP trying to get (You)s

I don’t know about all that but I’m just saying it’s bad. I’m literally only watching the science side episodes with Accel and stuff and it’s still pretty bad.

We have literally no way to know until it's actually colored oficially on a page. Considering Kamachi's track record and preferences, she's very likely blonde.

>The characters surrounding him pretty much rotate the cheerleading now
Like when? Seriously, when was the last time someone other than Othinus helped Touma's mental state? You (sort of) have a small scene in NT18, and before that the last time is what, NT10? It's almost entirely dominated by Othinus.

Attached: MP slurping.png (836x851, 182K)

I know, that's why I said it would still be doubtful even then.

I’m just being honest. You guys even said it was bad.

The meme doujin is lookin good so far

He doesn't need to make a new tree so why do you keep bringing that up? Did Coronzon have to make a new tree? No she did not.

Pokedex is the single most relevant thing in that show.
Well outside of Misachu.

Attached: Misachu I choose you.jpg (720x1207, 194K)

Why is ms paint shit giving me boners. What have you fags done to me

He does. The attack on Coronzon was made possible by planting the tree into the cosmos.

>We don't know
Then how can you use either to build points? Regardless of which is it, NT4 wasn't conscious because he needed the Kiharas to make DM
>Assumptions
Why not just leave the support system and make a DM body?
>No thanks
good way to deny something you said
>Nope
Yes it does, and the fact that you can't respond is enough of a answer for me
>Wtf
Stop writing like a stacy please. DM was created by Kakine, it can't have functions that he isn't aware running concurrently at the same time that he isn't aware of them.
>You think you do
Yuh except Kagun says it clearly
>I know
lol ok but how?

Attached: Flirting.png (437x300, 94K)

And he'll just use that same tree to do whatever he can use with it. Maybe he can't replicate the shit he did on Coronzon to the same extent, but as a sapling it's unlikely it won't grow and his range of uses with it won't.

No it wasn't and even the text itself makes that clear. As it made it clear that was an Accel type move as it was describing how different Accel was in that regard.

Dont think too hard on it

Attached: Kissu.png (1093x900, 203K)

How much effort did they put into this anime and why is it zero? Not even trying to make anybody mad. Why is it like they put no effort into trying to make this anime good?

>NT4 wasn't conscious
Assumption
>Why not just leave the support system
Funny you say that, because that's literally what he did
>The fact you stopped wasting time on me is proof
Ok.
>It can't have functions he isn't aware of
Assumption
>he isn't aware of them
Assumption, two for the price of one
>Kagun says
Nothing. Kagun says NOTHING on the matter of Kakine's mental strength. Nada, Zip, Zilch, Zero. I already broke down for you the two conclusions you can make, I'm not doing it again.
>How?
Try actually reading the posts. I'm quickly growing tired of you because it's obvious you're running in circles due to the fact you aren't reading the points addressing the issues in your posts. Are you just going to spout headcanon as fact all day? I'll have you know I do actually have better things to do, that's why I'm getting shorter with the replies.

I really don't think you paid any attention to the text itself.

They've been at it for hours, I'm not even sure why cause mental strength is subjective

>It's used to introduce every new thing that shows up on screen and help people understand what they are.
Except for the fact that it rarely does that and it's mostly used to provide trivia the heroes rarely rely on to solve the situation at hand. Butback to the real discussion, you'd have to be as disingineous and/or retarded as waifufags to claim Touma's demon zoo thing destroying Coronzon equates in any way, shape or form to Othinus solving the current crisis, and I quote this retard here .

>even when it's important it doesnt count because I say so
It's literally not unless someone moves their asses to act upon what they say. How is that a hard concept to grasp?

Shit management.
Bottom bitch tier animation team.
11 directors per episode.

Attached: 1542385572362.jpg (1920x1080, 403K)

You're right, it is subjective. But the fact Kakine managed to hijack someone's body has literally nothing to do with it. Its like saying Misaki is mentally strong because she has Mental Out. He's started spouting nonsense though so I think I'm just going to call it.

Holy shit boys! Vento just made an ice boat that whipped out a cannon and shot a CROSS at the big bad. A CROSS! I mean I get that they want the symbolism forced into the anime but really? Who launches a cross out of an ice cannon?

Attached: 7EC1D0EA-2F54-452B-AE1B-A91F8C88964C.jpg (400x400, 42K)

>it rarely does that
It does that literally every time what are you talking about? Every time someone pulls a pokedex and goes "wow what is that?" and it then explains what it is. Just like how people sit back and go "dude what the fuck is that magician doing, and to circumvent how stupid it would be for the enemy to explain their attack, someone or other breaks down what is going on so that the problem can be quantified and solved.
>I quote what is clearly hyperbole to make a point
Not helping your case
>It's not
It is. How is that a hard concept to grasp?

Attached: TsuchiAnon creampieing MP.png (1101x840, 272K)

Based

Touma for once has a good point here? What happened Vento? One minute you’re launching ice crosses at people and the next you’re getting trashed so call me crazy but I’m just a little curious as to what’s happened? What actually just happened?

MP I just want to let you know that I pulled up a picture of Saten and farted on it

>Assumption
No it's not
>funny you say that
Nice try but he was being used ever since equ dark matter
>Ok
Gud, one thing you admit
>Assumption
Not really, reread personal reality segments
>Assumption
explain how
>Again
except you never did, and Kaguns quote didn't explicitly state he was mentally strong otherwise we wouldn't be arguing. It did say he was present and consuming spirits slowly.
>Reading
I'm pretty sure I addressed all you sentences, I don't think it takes a lot of effort to dismantle pure confusion.

Vento is so hot guys. I’ve never seen such grace and posture in a woman before. These magic side girls are killing it..

>replying

Awww don't be like that. Let's keep it between us, I think we have something special.

Psst: Misaki can't control someone while unconscious and unable to use her power willingly.

how do i subscribe

>Every time someone pulls a pokedex and goes "wow what is that?" and it then explains what it is
Excep for the fact that most arcs hinder on what the pokemon is DOING rather than what it's called or what it is.

>I quote what is clearly hyperbole to make a point
I can't have actual discussions with dishonest litle shits like you. Keep thinking no one will notice the backpedalling, idiot.

It is. How is that a hard concept to grasp?
Are you MP's classmate or something? Learn to amke a decent point at least.

I think the last two threads we had around this time yesterday had far more quality discussion, but then again the OP subject was Misaki rather than Mikoto.

OP literally doesn't matter since the monkeys are arguing about Cuckine and Othinus

That worst is really kicking the shit out of Accel isn’t she? He’s just taking it because he’s feeling sorry for himself.

Bring back Charlie Brown posting

AC is basely Babylon the Great, the Mother of Abominations from Bible Revelation with how rotten and evil it is.

Bring back Last order sex posting

I’m not sure if Accel is a loser because he attacked the sister or if he’s okay because he didn’t kill her. In the end I don’t feel sorry for him either way because it’s all his fault in the end but at least he’s going the right direction and developing as a character unlike a certain MC.

Peanuts is unironically based, so there's no surprise there. I always tell Evangeliontards that Charlie Brown is a far better written and nuanced depiction of a depressed young man than Shinji Ikari, and they're literally incapable of proving me wrong.

I don't think Coronzon was beyond the Aeon in the first place, she just had a big Ego and wanted to believe she was.

At this point it wouldn't surprise me if any of the Secret Chief from Thelema, which are most likely going to show up now that Anna around. Can made there own Tree.

That was certainly one of the more interesting threads

>I always tell Evangeliontards that Charlie Brown is a far better written and nuanced depiction of a depressed young man than Shinji Ikari, and they're literally incapable of proving me wrong.
I chuckled, you're alright user.

Post THAT image

If the Magic Gods turn out to be the Brotherhood of the Left Hand Path like I am guessing, who remake the World by making Phases. Then the Secret Chief being from the other path would also be able to remake the world but through a different meets, like by making new Trees.

Coronzon was technically because she belonged to a tree that was outside of aeons but her kit still came from Horus attacks
She can't go beyond the tree itself
