長老 Lit. "elder". But with the nuance that he's been doing it a long time. Probably better as something like "senior".

I get what he's saying about letters being more charming, but most of the email I send is international. That's just not practical to do the old fashioned way.

Akari is a delinquent skirting the law like this.

Akari is just the underling following orders.

Please mr postman

Thanks as always, user.
Do you think you could adapt to the Neo-Venezia lifestyle?

>Do you think you could adapt to the Neo-Venezia lifestyle?
Yes. I think slowing down would be better for everyone.

I've worked in a post office and the prevalent scent isn't really the ink's to be honest.

Thanks for the dump OP! I'm in agreement - much as I love letters, they're not really practical for my needs. I send a fair amount of emails to family and friends overseas.

A nice chapter, that does get me think about how much technology is present in Neo Venezia, and just how much it might differ from Manhome. I think I've touched on actual Venice's postal service before, but I will say I've seen more couriers making deliveries on foot than anything else. Wheeled carts with a load of amazon boxes in em.

Props to Amano for the double spread here which shows the Scuola Grande di San Marco, which is part of Venice's hospital complex. To the right, behind the buildings, would be the church of San Giovanni e Paolo; a simply massive building that is certainly worth the visit! And as a side note, if Akari and Mr. Postman made a u turn in the canal and headed straight ahead, they'd reach the northern edge of the city and face the island of San Michele.

But it's not time for Akari to go there, yet. That was the light Venice trivia for the thread, and I'm not sure if I'd send Akira-sama a letter of my appreciation by post, by my own hand, or by email...

Well, we know they have computers and email, so presumably internet. And that grumpy guy from a few weeks ago had some tablet like thing. Maybe there was a voluntary decision to not have phones to preserve the historic atmosphere?

>Wheeled carts with a load of amazon boxes in em.
Sounds just like the endless kuroneko carts in Japan.

Alicia-sama is above the law, she is neo-venezia.

Mobster Alicia runs Neo-Venezia from the shadows.

Mobsters need to take control. Alicia's got my vote fairly.

Uh oh, competition

There's a few hundred years separating them. Maybe not competition, but relatives.

Alicia looks like a mom looking for evidence her daughter has a crush.

Bump for night anons.

Also there's a planet's difference, so it's not really competition.

They're going for a galactic empire of dorks.

An empire where you rule over dorks, or an empire made of dorks?

Both. All will be assimilated into the dork.
