Perhaps I'm biased because I found SP to be by far the worst part, while at the same time it didn't have enough episodes for the ending to grow on me. I do hate the SP opening though. Seriously, the imagery, what the fuck were they thinking?

Was SP the part when they all went to the art gallery? I really liked that episode. SP probably has the worst opening thematically/animation-wise, I just really like the song.

Your pic is an absolute kino moment, I like the bit in Sakura where all the colour fades in and the bit in nora with Yuno's dreams. I think the original series is my favourite overall though, it seemed like the direction got toned down a bit in future seasons. The fever episode is probably the peak of direction in the series, but nothing after that ever really reaches that level. All the seasons are still a 10 imo

I do think there was a drop-off after 365, even though the animation quality went up. And, though I do like them, I am not a huge fan of Nori and Nazuna as an addition to the original cast.

Sakura Sakura Saku is another masterpiece of an ending. Love the lyrics. Always felt it was more of a Sae and Hiro's song.

Yeah, though I original found the redesign between the original and 365 jarring. I think the seasons get funnier as they go along too, I think they got the writing and timing down much better. I think Nazuna and Nori help to bring a bit more variety to the cast as well. I like Nori, but Nazuna doesn't really have the same presence as the other characters.

watched the first season. can't stand shaft. can't stand a single thing they've ever made other than popotan. and I've watched a lot of their material. definitely my least favorite studio.
