I don't understand. Why did she return to Earth instead of stay with Van on Gaea? There is nothing for her on Earth.

Uuh except for her family, friends, crush and life?
Gaea was a world of stress, unfamiliarity and danger.
I mean, people there disdained, feared or tried to kill her.
As a story sure she should have stayed for Van but realisticly she did the expected thing.
They wanted you to feel depressed after watching it rather than feeling nothing at all.
this scene reminds of evangelion
The other world doesn't have internet.
This could have been such a real masterpiece if it had gotten all the episodes it needed. Such a fucking shame. I would LOVE to play a AAA action JRPG with low to mid fantasy mecha fighting with Van, and everyday exploring with Hitomi (with some running and jumping here and there.)
If it weren't for Hitomi and the pants on head retarded twist with Dilandau, this would be a solid 6/10 anime. As it is, the only thing worth remembering is the really great soundtrack, which was tragically wasted on shit.
Should i watch it? Is it good or is it a girly anime?
It sorta felt like she returned just so they could have a bookend with the start of the anime, and make it ambiguous whether the fantasy world was just a dream. I agree, staying in Gaea made more sense, by that point she had a much stronger connection to it then her own world.
One of the main themes of the show is learning to put your desires after your responsibilities, which is something pretty much every character who's not the main villain have to go through. Hitomi is a 15 years old girl with her family on earth.
Do it for Yoko Kanno at least.
It's a scene from Devilman you pleb
fuck this show is a waste of time other than the fluid Mecha action.
Because unlike modern isekai stories she isn't a loser who died pointlessly in her world.
what kind of garbage denoised release are you watching?
what version is this one user?
The better question is why Vans brother didn't quit service and went to a remote island, living a nice life with his cat twins.
I wasn't satisfied with the ending either, OP. Especially since there was some sappy "I'll never let you go" bullshit an episode or two before that.
Does someone need to explain the suicide angle to you?
Protip: when someone is on a rooftop without shoes on, they are considering jumping.
She saved Van. Van saved her.
That's the movie.
>Uuh except for her family, friends, crush and life?
>Gaea was a world of stress, unfamiliarity and danger.
Don't expect current isekaibabbies to get this
It's an 8/10 even with the weak script.
