>Fuck off Saber. Go seduce my wife while I have an affair with my assistant and bully a cripple
Did Kiritsugu go too far with Kayneth?
Fuck off Saber. Go seduce my wife while I have an affair with my assistant and bully a cripple
I never really understood why he had an affair. Seemed hypocritical and out of nowhere in the anime.
Kirei made Kiritsugu sound a lot cooler in Fate/Stay Night than he actually turned out.
Okay, it's been almost 15 years and I still don't fucking get it.
Did Kiritsugu die from the Graal's curse or just because he was completely depressed?
He did it because Miya is a useful tool and more importantly, but using Miya as both a cheating relationship he was steeling himself for betrying Iri for his selfish ideals even if she herself told him that's what hse's fine with.
Basically if Kerry were alive he'd be proud of Shirou the most in the Heaven's Feel ending.
They had to make it more obvious that he's an anti-hero for the brainlets. Subtle hints won't work.
He died from time magic overuse
I don't see the connection between your two statements.
So he was basically furthering his main goal by distancing himself from Iri who had a different goal. Okay that works for me.
why can't he just reverse time magic overuse with more time magic?
Not sure if this was explicitly conveyed but I remembered it as him using Miya. He wanted her unquestioning loyalty and the only way to do that is to form an intimate relationship with her.
I was under the impression they were ex-lovers and she still carried a torch for him.
With the caveat that "Hey, you know, your wife is going to be dead after the Grail War, so...Maybe I've got a chance on the rebound."
Five servants dying in the war will manifest the grail, which means Iri will die. In other words, Kerry will indirectly kill Iri by participating in the war.
Not really. Basically
>Kerry loves Iri dearly, but he knows that she will inevitably die due to his actions and firmly believes that he's betraying her love no matter what she says
>to prepare for this he decides to fuck his assistant to practice for this "betrayal" so he won't hesitate when the time comes
It's fucking retarded and not how love works, but Emiya's are cursed with crippling autism as we all know. Iri never really understood Kerry's dream as she's spent her entire life stuck in a castle with zero exposure to what he's talking about (something Kerry somehow never realized) but still follows it because of her loyalty and love for her family.
Is this explained in the VN or something? It wasn't that long ago I watched Zero and I didn't really get this from it.
Its basically what says but leaning towards the psychological sense. You have to kill the love of your life in order to succeed in your dream, that is not just any dream, its THE dream and salvation of mankind, you cant refuse. Its a lot to digest and impossible to live with, so it consumes him, making him look for cheap comfort with Maiya. After learning about Iri's fate, he feels that he doesnt deserve her anymore and sees himself as something too dirty and broken for the pure Iri, so even more reasons to turn to Maiya. As result this makes Maiya the most loyal servant one could wish for. Iri knows and understands this as well, shes the purest waifu I have ever seen and I wish I was memeing. The ED that shows Kerry and Iri's backstory fucking destroyed me emotionally.

what, I don't remember this?

Is Fate Zero edgy for the sake of edgy?
>kerryeatsahamburger.txt
What the fuck do you think?
He banged her post marriage to make himself feel like shit and to prep himself to betray Iri by killing her to fulfill his wish
Sure but when is this shown in the anime?
It was in the LN. It's jarring in the anime because it's never brought up again and he clearly cares more about his family than Maiya in later scenes
Nope. It's edgy for the sake of the greatest COOOOL. If God didn't want you killing children, he would have already stopped you.
Based.
underrated post
Grail curse. Wouldn't have happened if he just shot Angra Iri instead of choking her out.
Truth be told, Fastwheels just simply wasn't fast enough.
