I liked the twist on the first episode, even that I saw it comming, but the seconde episode was meh.
The fact that is this episodic too, is a bad sign. For now the mc doesn't seem interesting either, being OP without a propose of being like that is bad too.

The anime is bretty gud. Read the first chapter of the manga and compared it to the 2nd episode (same plotline and shit) and the anime was way more interesting which is pretty rare. Probably one of the better ones this season

I actually enjoy those cheap comfy episodic anime a lot and for now this seems to be good enough to qualify. The last ones like that for me were Vatican Kiseki Chousakan and 18if, but after that I stopped watching as many seasonal anime, is there anything similar that aired recently and I missed?

I'm reading the manga in nip. It's actually incredible and very HxH-esque.
As others have mentioned the directing is incredibly flat. You've got scenes that should be exciting with absolutely no life to them. With the presentation being boring and the individual stories not being very interesting on their own either it makes for something that's okay at best. My favourite parts were the interactions between the MC and Zero at the beginning of episode 1.

I watched the first episode and I didn't really like it. MC doesn't seem to be very likeable and they somehow made a new continent which could've been rife with mystery and exploration into something boring I don't care much about. From the first episode I also got the impression that it'll be filled with shounen-like battles and villains which I don't really find entertaining either.
