But what if she's chewing with her mouth open? Do we just see glimpses of chewed up food whenever she eats before it turns invisible when she swallows?

There's a difference between invisibility and transparence.Water is transparent,and so are ewindows or plastic containers,that's why you can see through them.If the plastic that's i=used in the production of pastic containers was invisible,any items put in them wouldn't be visible either.In her case,since she's invisible and not transparent,the bite of food she would be chewing wouldn't be visible.If she's chewing with her mouth open,the scenario would be similiar to what you described

It's a matter of if your quirk physically changes your body on a permanent basis. Aizawa's eyes can't make Toru visible for the same reason Tsuyu can't stop being a frog or Ojiro can't not have a tail. That's just their bodies.
There's also partial mutation quirks. Aizawa, on paper, could make Miina no longer able to secret out her acidic fluids or Tokoyami from being able to call out Dark Shadow, but they're still going to keep their "inhuman" characteristics.

It depends on how her invisibility works.
Human see objects because light bounces off of that object. You can become invisible through 2 means which is by redirecting light around you and by having light go through your body.
If she's invisible by redirecting light to go around her then everything inside her should be invisible because light goes around her skin not even touching her mich less her insides.
If her invisibility is because light goes through her then anything she ingest should be seen because it still reflects light when the light goes through her.
Seeing how her invisibility works i conclude that she has the latter type of invisibility which means anything put or is inside her wont be seen from outside

Ojiro was born with a tail and his quirk is only the ability to control it. If Aizawa erases his quirk then the tail remains but he can't move it.
Same with Toru, she remains invisible but she can't control her refraction index anymore.
