Asumi, who was affected by that conversation last night, forgot to bring her textbook and utensils for prep school. This left both Nariyuki and the teacher in shock. Asumi tried to play it off as it was due to a lack of sleep from studying too hard as they left the prep school. Asumi then left for work while telling Nariyuki to go home early as it'd rain soon.
Nariyuki encountered Machiko and Himura, who told him that the shop is actually closed for the day, prompting him to look for Asumi. He found Asumi at the same park they were in just moments earlier, with the latter looking at the drawing she drew back at elememtary. A gust of wind then blew, and the drawing flew into the water. Though Nariyuki wanted to save it, Asumi stopped him and told him that it's fine.
As they took shelter from the rain, Asumi told Nariyuki the full conversation between Soujiro and Kasumi, and his reason for closing down the clinic. Nariyuki tried comforting Asumi by petting her. Though the latter tried to put up a strong face and teased him a bit, she eventually broke into tears because she had lost her goal.
After the rain had passed, Nariyuki took Asumi home, with the latter told him to forget what happened just now. Kasumi, who saw what happened, teased Nariyuki a bit after Asumi had gone in the house, before resuming her conversation regarding a surgery. Nariyuki asked what the surgery was about, and Kasumi revealed that she's actually a volunteer surgeon overseas. Nariyuki then decides to ask why Kasumi about her being overseas.
Next day, it's Nurse Cosplay Event at High Stage, and Asumi was surprised to see Nariyuki there as he no longer has to come in for this type of shift. However, Nariyuki was the one who requested to come in, and asked if she would play pretend Doctor with him.
