I honestly can't think of a single action manga without it.Pic related doesn't have as much asspull like the rest but still has quite a lot.
Is asspull a requeriment for all action manga?
What asspulls does knY have?
I won't deny that KnY doesn't have any ass pull but it is clear that the author do try to hint or established the rule/pattern (flashback at almost dead moment or inherited memory) before it becomes crucial to the plot so we kinda know that it will happen.
the problem with shonen is sometime the author doesn't have any plans(like fairy tail) so it's easy for ass pull to happen. and when that happens some authors are bad at pulling it off.
Most shonen back then and now had asspulls. So it's hard to get rid of them or avoid using them because at some point it will be necessary for the Mc development.
you don't understand how much work a weekly manga is
people should just stop making weekly manga. it's not worth it
Any retard can defend any writing they see fit if they like the series like this asshole it ndoesn't really matter.
>I-i-i-i-it doesn't count
Fuck off
Is this another battle manga or is it more like shounen Berserk set in Japan? Genuinely asking.
That's because you have a jaded shit poster brain.
No writer wants to have 'asspulls', what they want is to surprise the readers, and have twist and turns in their fights.
It's got more in common with Mononoke than Bleach. It's a shonen action horror series.
It's a deconstruction of shonen. Togashi recommended it along with 2 other newcomers.
>Berserk
Berserk is more of a shonenshit than most Jump manga.
It's your usual shonen battle manga. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
you haven't read it lol
>It's got more in common with Mononoke than Bleach. It's a shonen action horror series.
That's neat. I liked Mononoke.
>It's a deconstruction of shonen.
I don't think it is. deconstruction is an overuse term. KnY is more like old school shonen than a deconstruction.
Honestly, Jujutsu does the Mononoke-style horror better than Kimetsu.
This. It has more in common with stuff like Part 1 JoJo except without the camp.
Whats on the left?
But she didnt heal him, she burned the poison in her body. And we knew that Nezuko fire burned demon and their abilities, and that it doesnt hurt humans.
Gunjou no Magmel. Magmel is kind of like the Dark Continent in HXH. It's a very "Lovecraftian" place and when exploration missions fail someone's gotta go pick up the pieces. That's where MC comes in --he'll charge a fee to bail yer ass out. If you use his services three times you even get a discount! Assuming you survive. One of the arcs really gives Palace Invasion vibes and there is a ton of evocative horror.
Nah it's definitely stock shonen battle manga. aniki self sacrifice, band of younger generation getting stronger, powerups with the power of friendship and cooperation, big bad evil general with a bunch of big bad evil evil officers below him, and to top it off MC is the chosen one. It's really really stock shonen battle manga.
L O L
Generic shounen battle manga, you'll like it if you're into that, requires you to turn off your brain as most battle mangas.
You'll enjoy manga a lot more when you restructure "asspulls" as "surprises".
