I´ll be honest i love this show and i get a good chub whenever i´m nearing a Wensday but this was in my opiniong a pretty uneventful and boring episode. I dunno i didn´t really feel like i needed more Raphtalia background and i guess if you wanna say worldbuilding alright but i just kinda felt like i was staring at my screen with some decently nice pixels which most of the time was a dull grey and didn´t really have any meaningful character interaction or cool action thing happening or the plot really moving forward.

I dunno i might be gay but i just kind of thought it was a boring episode and just want next WHENsday to come around.

This episode has converted me over to the manga. After seeing people talk about it, I looked up the scene of Raphtalia fighting with the fat fuck from this episode in the manga and holy shit I cannot believe how much they fucked it all up here in the anime. Changing a revenge scene into "you can't kill him or you'll be like him!" is a load of horseshit, what the fuck were they thinking?

In the end she had stabbed his shoulder with a real sword, let go and stabbed him through the chest with the magic sword, pushing him into the window and he fell down to his apparent death. Then after the basement thing, they were preparing to leave but it turns out the fat noble survived and broke the seal on the T-rex, who then proceeded to squash him like a bug.

so the "apparent death by fall" was canon, it kinda have more sense since he was boss tier
