The following story sucks. It is extra-complicated without anything brilliant. The only masterpiece from this author is Tatakau Shisho To Koisuru Bakudan and that's it. Everything else is garbage.

Fan translations stopped for official ones, which are now pretty much caught up too. Author doesn't seem to releasing a new one anytime soon.

The anime itself was ok, but the story it was adapting was shit and boring. What begins as a potentially interesting, if a bit generic, fantasy quest with a truly underdog MC, quickly comes to a complete stop where everything revolves about a "mystery" of the worst kind: one in which the audience can't actually participate because there are no pieces to put together, so you are forced to simply wait while the characters fail to reason and communicate properly for the rest of the arc, until the author finally decides to solve the mystery and the story can go on. But next thing you know, the same shit is happening again, because those standstills and asspulls are really the whole point. So it is garbage as a fantasy adventure, and even worse as a mystery.
