Well it certainly looks like Shinkai. However it seems incredibly boring with some simple boy meets girl story with the standard high school setting. Of course I realize this is some advertisement for a LINE novel or whatever, but given the fact that I'm not a teenager, it doesn't strike me as interesting at all.

Which is ironic, given Shinkai's earlier works like She and Her Cat and Hoshi no Koe which of course all had much more imaginative (although not necessarily great) stories. So if anything, they're just trying to copy Shinkai's look, or at most the feel of Kimi no Na wa or 5cm, rather than his ambition.
