Meruem wasn't using any enhancing techniques though, he was naturally that overpowered so it's not fair to bring him into this (he could have been that strong AND develop haxx on top of it)
Gon yes, he created an Enhancer ability to enhance himself until reaching his imaginary potential. But that shit kills you.
Maybe with some tweaking he could use it on a regular basis? Instead of Jan Ken Guu, he could have a Nen Ability that powers him up as if his whole body was using Gyo BUT only every 12 hours, at midday and midnight, he would be in Gyo for the whole hour burning off his aura and he'd have to remain in Zetsu for the rest of the day (maybe). A hunter wouldn't have much control over a restriction like that so it should make him pretty strong, but not strong enough to fight any Royal Ant.
But still, that's just fanfiction. In the actual series the strongest Pure Enhancer was Uvogin and he only had a bigger Gyo as his weapon, that wouldn't get him too far against anyone with a plan and haxx.
Netero's enhancement helped make the punches of the buddha faster but actually creating a giant buddha statue out of Nen and controlling so many arms at once is a different category.

I honestly wish they'd do anime original content for HxH. Let Togashi keep writing his boat arc and animate something about the rest of the world, mainly what are Gon and Killua up to since they won't show up in the plot for at least 10 more years. Or a spinoff about the Zoldycks. Heck ditch all of it and show us the whole gang going on adventures after Gon gets healed and ignore the manga, I just like these characters and the world they live on.

He changes visual approach of the story depending on what he wants to express visually, "mood" of the scene / story arc. Just like he changed art style from YYH (warm and simplstic in beginning and more gritty by the end). In Level E he uses also more realistic style.
