Original Broly was perfectly capable of proper speech after being freed from his father's control device, and he was very much in control of his own actions. It's only in the sequel that they started to make him go full retard because they couldn't bother to stay consistent.

Are you on drugs? By the end of the 1st movie, Broly's mental health deteriorated almost completely, and he stayed like that for the next movie as well. Yeah, he started off sane (ish), but the more time he spent in LSSJ the more beast-like he became.

What's hard to understand about DBZ Broly, Second Coming Broly aside? He involuntarily lived as a slave to his own father, murdered countless people because of it, and only saw the scummier side of people. When his control bands were overpowered and he was able to let loose, is it really a shock that he became sadistic? The only thing that's hard to swallow about his character is his lame origin, where he got PTSD as an infant from Goku crying incessantly.

Why is it that Saiyan semen is compatible with so many species throughout the galaxy? It makes sense for Humans and Saiyans to be able to cross-breed, but Tarble shags a womens' restroom sign and it works.

Saiyans are conquerors by nature. Being able to impregnate whatever species they encounter would be a major advantage in taking over planets/regions.

I do. Old Broly was much better than your typical "good guy!" Saiyan. Every Saiyan is now nice and happy like the entire U6.

It's true. They're a species with only 3 (4 if you count Tarble) full-blooded members. They need to breed as much as they possibly can if they want to continue their species in some fashion.
