Part 1 of prisma is just a magical girl parody and can be kinda fun, part 2 is mostly fanservice garbage with 2 minutes of relevant stuff every now and then, and part 3 is balls to the wall nasuverse chuuni
I'd recommend the anime for part 1 simply because it looks better, then switch to the manga for part 2 because it's garbage either way and reading the manga makes it faster, and stick with the manga for part 3 because that's where the manga's art starts looking good and the anime looks like shit
