Perfectly okay shoujo manga/anime fuccboi Shou (guy on the left, aka Shoe) was Aira's love interest in the first Pretty Rhythm series. I think she was 14 at the time and he was maybe 16/17?. They sometimes go on sorta dates and almost say I love you and kinda express interest in each other and all is well and good.
Dear My Future takes place three years later where they've clearly grown closer but Shoe is now obsessed with his artistic path in becoming a fashion designer. Aira is in love with him but Shoe is a giant pussy who keeps things ambiguous. He even gives an autistic speech about how love is more meaningful if it's not stated outright or some shit.
Yun-su (guy on the right) is the main designer for the rival brand to Shoe's Pretty Top, called Dear Crown. He also falls in love with Aira and is pretty upfront about it. Shoe gets super pissy about this and sees Yun-su (dubbed Rival Otoko by the protagonist Mia, who is fucking amazing by the way) as his rival and won't "give" Aira to him or let him win in clothes designing although he still refuses to be upfront with his love. He continues being a giant piece of shit the entire anime and eventually wins Aira's heart and they live happily ever after. Also Aira couldn't choose between Shoe and Yun-su until Shoe summoned a single ounce of manhood in order to tell her he loved her and also Aira turns evil at one point, which is the best part in any of these characters' arcs.
