Watched it a few months ago actually, came across it by accident and the plot synposis made me laugh so I gave it a try.
It was really good, I enjoy stories of underdogs and such, especially ones that have a lot against them, the time period and the fact they were all girls was a nice challenge to overcome. I enjoyed the stupid sidestories as well, they were great.
Only complaint was the conclusion. Obviously I understand why they couldn't win and that getting incredibly close was good enough, but it would've been a better underdog story if they did win. Perhaps I'm missing the point and it wasn't an underdog story, just a story about cute girls playing baseball?
Still, good show regardless.
