I watched it fucking forever ago. I bought the whole thing on DVD as it came out. It aired towards the end of the hight of those dystopian worlds ending/reseting animes. It's heavier on the pessimistic outlook of humanity. Kinda had a Half Life 2 or Judge Dread vibe to it. It was the peak of that type of anime in my opinion.

I saw it around the time it came out, when I was like 15 or 16, but I was still super retarded at that age, so I had no idea what was going on. I watched all of it because I liked the art style and the violence but I couldn't tell you what it was about. I should watch it again some time.

I liked it but it was too unfocused for this type of show to be really good. Some episodes were annoying as shit, like the quiz show and the theme park.

I liked it, the main themes about identity and self discovery are well played, and it helps that I didn't really hate any character, I actually empathized with Raul a bit, but it's definitely a slow burner, I could only watch one or 2 episodes at a time instead of the usual marathon

Took too long to get started up on the good stuff (the road trip), the middle was some of the best shit ever (the Ophelia episode, the Disney episode, and especially the game show episode), the ending was too abrupt. Make the beginning shorter and the ending longer and the show would be almost perfect.

I love it. Plot isn't really that hard to understand and even though there are a few really slow episodes (which I don't mind but I guess some people dislike) they really set up that comfy atmosphere. I miss these grim 00s scifi shows, they don't make them like this anymore

The ending felt extremely rushed. They go back to the city, but everyone has gone crazy and it ends with a giant cliff hanger as humans come back to the planet. All the struggles that the MC did felt pointless because she changed nothing.
