One thing that bothered me here is that they lump all "anothers" together, as if each one should be treated like animals or natural disasters. While that makes sense as their previous mindset, he literally resolved a fight the other day by talking to the (clearly humanoid) angels and tengu.
It might not work on the Kisha but they aren't even taking that into consideration with their broad generalization.
