I find most teen anime fans actually share your opinion, they tend to be the most vocal about hating fanservice because they are so status-conscious and it's very important to assert they are better than other people and other people are worse and so on. They also burn out on anime by the time they hit their mid 20s unless they learn to be less uptight and broaden their horizons, you don't get far in anime insisting you only watch "the best".

There's a certain breed of older anime fan though with aspirations of artistic criticism, who continue to hold excruciatingly narrow viewpoints well into middle and old age. They might have classically trained as an artist/animator or might not, but they generally act as though they are an authority on the subject. You find them more in sakuga communities and so only infrequently on Yea Forums, since this site caters more to the teen and college crowd.

Actually I find it more likely that they're aspiring anime critics who post their reviews and opinions on MAL or youtube, and you see them on Yea Forums all the time sperging about their standards and objective taste. They could just as easily be the aforementioned teens too who forgot to grow up too, who knows.
