Junko was always shit. There was nothing good to ruin. It's only more obvious how awful she is because she gets more focus.

The dub has a lot of weird lines, but honestly, so do the games. If anything, it had the same type of references and quotes you’d find in 2 and even UDG. A lot of people say they Ghost Stories’d the whole thing, but the franchise is naturally like that, and they were making the dub match the tone.

I used to be a huge DR fan. Wouldn't stop talking about it with my friends and would go to lots of DR threads, but the way the Saga ended with DR3 was such a huge turn off that I haven't even gotten V3. At least the threads were fun.

Same here, I was so tired of the franchise that I didn't even bother checking out V3 until a few months ago.
If you want a fresh start from Hope's Peak and the hope/despair jargon but don't mind having a few elements of the murder mystery formula being repeated then definitely give V3 a shot sometime.
