What if Iceguya fucking up is intentional, from a narrative perspective? Normally, you would expect Iceguya, who is supposed to be Kaguya being fully rational, calm and collected, to, in no uncertain terms, explain that she went overboard with the kiss and that she was really impulsive when she agreed to go with him to Standford, and that that might be a promise she cannot keep, as her family would not allow her to, and that even if she wanted to leave her family, doing so would not be easy and could cause plenty of problems to Shirogane.
However, that's not what's happened, and we've seen that Iceguya is hardly calm and collected, and that she is, in fact, an even mess than Kaguya when she's overtaken by her own emotions. I'm thinking this might be intentional on Aka's part to show Kaguya can no longer go back to who she was, she's changed a lot, emotions are in full bloom within her, and there's nothing she can do to control said emotions. So, Iceguya is like trying to place a lid on top of boiling water. It's useless, and it'll make things worse. And thus, what has actually occurred has been that, rather than been rational, Kaguya's behaviour has been more erratic than ever, and the sole "calmness" is in the exterior, as inside she's a serious mess. Before, she could be somewhat assertive, now she's completely roundabout. You could claim she's even in less control of her emotions now, as she's even gone as far as hitting Shirogane when he's failed to understand her weird attempts at having him kiss her, which Shirogane himself noted she had never resorted to violence before.
Narratively, I think the idea is to show Kaguya was much stronger as a person when she became in touch with her own emotions. However, Kaguya thought her being like that was her being weak. However, as iceguya she's actually become worse-off, and has failed horribly at getting anything done, things that in her "balanced" mode she might have achieved.

Iceguya is her original default personality. Mind you she was the one who fell in love with Shirogane and also the one who had to put the fucking effort to change years of conditioning in order to be more approachable.
Iceguya is Kaguya at her purest. Whenever we hear Kaguya cursing Fujiwara for her breasts, going overboard in her plans, or acting scary, it is fucking Iceguya at the helm. Bakaguya always felt like an outsider. In the end Iceguya changing is just Kaguya herself changing. I don't really like Bakaguya because she doesn't feel like the true Kaguya.

I'd say its the opposite; people expected Iceguya to be rational and mature, but she's a crazy bitch who just can't hide her own emotions despite being the hardest of Kaguyas to read her emotions. She's a fucking mess in other words, that people merely latched onto because they thought she was kuudere.
While Bakaguya seems dumb at first but is actually mature enough to explain shit properly and be honest. People put too much stock into Iceguya ahead of time when she turned out to be a dud.
Its not that Iceguya is an indication that her emotions can no longer be stopped, I'd say that Iceguya is terrible and experiencing her own emotions which is how Prez got hurt. I'd say that Iceguya is ironically just the most childish Kaguya.

No, the Bakaguya chapter showed that lashing out at Fujiwara's breasts is Bakaguya, Bakaguya is her impulsiveness and base instinct.
Which Iceguya is the exact opposite; she's the planer/hateful self. She's the exact opposite of instinct, she can't do anything based on impulse and can't do anything at all really, since she's too prideful to ever make a move.
Its the ego and super ego situation.
And then there's normal Kaguya

She created another personality entirely to match Prez all this time, and ended up becoming the same as him. That's how she became an overthinking jealous master planner idiot who's obsessed with love. Because she accidentally matched President.
Iceguya is technically the second personality, not the first. Child Guya in her mind is the original self. Each of her personalities is in response to something, Iceguya is in response to acting prim and proper at home. Bakaguya is in response to her burning out and becoming a creature of pure instinct and impulsiveness who acts how she really feels without putting up any barriers like normal. While Iceguya is 1000000% barriers and bitchiness to never be honest about anything.

The thing is. I'm not treating Iceguya as a different personality, just as how Kaguya copes with circumstances (and her "personas" are literally that, her just coping with things). Kaguya used to be cold and distant, because that's what she learned from her family and she also acted like that to be able to put up with the strictness with which she was raised. She didn't feel like opening herself up until she fell in love with Shirogane (and this is something we're yet to see, when exactly did she fall for him).
Thus "Iceguya" is no longer her "default". She's changed as a person, she fell in love, she's made friends, she's experience many joyful things. So, her going Iceguya isn't her returning to her default, but her trying to behave like she used to. However, there's one huge issue, and that's that she's not the same person she used to be, and thus she can't do that any more. She's no longer the Ice Princess.
Kaguya being a bitch to Chika or to Miko is just Kaguya being herself. She's admitted she needs to treasure Chika more considering how much of a faithful friend she's been to her, but Kaguya is just jealous like that. It also doesn't help, though, that Chika tends to have the worst possible timings, and she's several times ruined Kaguya's plans. Not that this excuses Kaguya is treating a good friend poorly, but I supposes it at least explains her frustration toward her.

I'd disagree, her becoming Iceguya is her going back seven stages and trying to return to her default out of fear, when that's not who she can be anymore. Thinking about being with Prez finally scared her too much, so she tried returning all the way to square one. And even she hasn't entirely realized that's not who she can be anymore. She used to hate her Ice self thinking that was at her most shameful, now its the thing she embraces more than anything when she's in trouble, and it lead to tragedy yet again. She couldn't realize that her normal self is way stronger than her ice self already.

This is I don't agree with. She's not trying to go back to square one, as she's trying to get Shirogane to kiss her. All she's doing is trying to behave like she used to. The issue is, she cannot do that. She's full of emotion now, and thus she cannot be the "calm and collected" person she used to be, because she's changed a lot.
