Actually kind of haunting/effecting if you aren't an atheist. Appreciated it more on second viewing.

Its got some of the most unique visuals out there, which perfectly match the tone of the film. I also really liked the colors but don't know enough about the correct terms to describe it, see pic related I really like the bright pink on her dress and the sort of bluish tint to the shadows on her skin. Soundtrack is unique and very distinctive. Some really good animation at times. The pacing is slow but not in a bad way. Themes and religious meaning add to it in a way that leaves many possible interpretations.
